Week 3 of the flowering stage has arrived for my Black Dog Auto strain, and I couldn't be more excited about the progress these plants have made. Standing at an impressive height of around 60 cm, they are truly flourishing. The temperature in the grow room remains ideal for flowering, with daytime temperatures averaging around 27°C. During the night, the temperature drops slightly to a comfortable 26°C, providing a conducive environment for the plants' development. Humidity levels have been maintained within a range of 50-55%, ensuring a balanced atmosphere that minimizes the risk of moisture-related issues such as mold or mildew. To optimize light penetration and airflow within the canopy, I carefully removed some larger leaves that were obstructing lower bud sites. This selective defoliation promotes better light distribution and improves air circulation, which is crucial for preventing stagnant air pockets and potential issues caused by excessive humidity. Watering remains consistent, providing approximately 2 liters of water per day. Monitoring the plants' hydration needs is essential during this flowering stage, ensuring they receive adequate moisture without overwatering. As the Black Dog Auto plants progress through the flowering stage, I am delighted to notice the emergence of sweet scents. These aromatic hints are an early indication of the beautiful aromas and flavors that will develop further during the maturation process.
