Hey Farmers,
This diary will be quite spare until week 9, not a lot of attention is going into this plant until then.
that's one of the nice things about soil, it allows you to chill and just water, that is, if your soil is good. Mine isn't, which you will see later on.
this germination was easy, I did the classic soak in a glass till she pops. then place her into a rapid rooter.
She germinated April 7th, so April 8th is day 1
Hey Farmers!
The little closet and light setup might look stupid, but it works.
It allows me to have harvests very close to eachother, I have 2 tents and then this space. Plus it takes less than 50W from the wall, how crazy is that.
It's easy to forget about one plant once you're growing 3 though, especially when life gets busy.
Hey Farmers,
Sorry week 3 is missing, busy busy busy, forgot to take pictures!
Let's catch you up, I ended up transplanting last week, this is because the plant started yellowing in the lightmix and she was due for one, a lot of people will tell you to not transplant autos, I say heck to that. I try to transplant at sex, which she was almost showing.
She's now in a 3 gallon Flexapot, a cheap chinese plastic fabric pot, but it works.
I also started training this week, and moved her into an actual tent!
Hey farmers!
This is were issue started hitting me a bit, I made the grave mistake of using geranium soil, which contains clay. this is awful for weed.
She's also developing what seems to be a nitrogen toxicity here, could be the clay, but for some reason, my response was to topdress with Worm Castings...
I guess I must've not noticed the N tox at the time, i was trying to add more micro organisms to the soil, which did end up working.
Hey farmers.
it's been 7 weeks exactly since germination
she's doing great, budding has truly started and the diary entries will be more consistent. Was never sure whether or not I was going to track this one, but I think she's got some good potential.
Hey farmers,
I had to double check to pictures to make sure that this was week 2 of flower, When it comes to outflowers I consider the pre flower stretch to be part of Veg, but even if we count that as week 1 of flower I find it hard to believe that this phenotype has 56-70 days left as indicated by the breeder.
She doesn't smell a whole bunch, but her buds appear to be quite dense, I imagine those will finish up very nicely.
I have some yellowing, it's far too early for natural fading, my watering has been correct as far as I know (I water when the pot is light) and if it is a nitrogen deficiency, which is rare in flower, why do I have clawing?
Organics is turning out to be far harder than Hydro, Maybe my soil life isn't what it needs to be and I need some beneficial soil bacteria, anyone have any suggestion? I was thinking Bactrex by biotabs.
I do have high quality locally sourced worm castings, which should also have plenty of beneficial soil bacteria, i'm stumped.
Yo farmers,
This plant is doing great, looking at other diaries here, most seem to finish around 11-12 weeks from germination, that makes more sense, this girl is dense and smelly, there no fruity tones, only a very strong stinky weed odour.
I'm doing something wrong when it comes to organics though, in hydro my plants are green and vigorous start to finish, in organics, as soon as im in flower, stuff starts yellowing, i suspect its my watering, ill be buying a probe
Hey farmers,
She's getting closer to harvest, I hope she makes it another week.
She smells so strong, I have been growing fruity purple stains, this is so far removed from that, Deffo skunk forward.
This was just one of those random grows to fill a slot, but she's impressing me.
Doubt shell get thicker, but we're going to go as long as we can
Hey growmies.
I screwed up on this grow, let me just get that out of the way, she ran out of nutrients, my poor choice of soil also did not have the NPK a weed plant needs, nor the structure.
Learning experience, one that I have already applied in my other biotabs organic grows.
I was pleasantly surprised by the weight
100g of nice buds, this phenotype is thick
21g of shake, this plant was not super frosty however.
