Well, the day has finally arrived. I harvested my first-ever plant! She's nothing to write home about, but I've learned so much in the last 14 weeks, from either trial and error, research, or from the good folks on here. I also have a tent grow, and those plants are leaps and bounds better than this one. Growing outdoors in a very humid part of the country def adds another level of difficulty. I do have several more outdoor plants documented in my diary and they are also better. My next harvest will be the 3x Northern Lights Autos, so stay tuned!

What's up with this dead bud? I'm thinking it's because it was laying on the soil in the pot.

I’d guess that could be issues. Feel right off? On your plant gently look in middle of buds. You will notice rot and you see it. It always appears webby to me.

I had issues with fungus gnats for literally years. I tried everything: repotting soil, mosquito dunks, rocks, sticky traps, you name it. They always came back… until using Trifecta Crop Control. Seriously, one application… GONE. FOR. GOOD! I did use it a bit stronger than they recommended, which I’m not recommending for anyone else, but luckily it did not hurt my plants. Love this product!

It's important to note that not all plants from purple strains will necessarily exhibit purple coloration. While some cannabis strains are known for their purple hues, the expression of these colors can vary depending on environmental factors and genetic predisposition. In some cases, the plant may develop purple tones towards the end of its flowering stage as temperatures start to drop. To encourage the development of purple colors, certain conditions can be beneficial. Cooler nighttime temperatures, typically around 10-15°C (50-59°F), can stimulate the production of anthocyanins, the pigments responsible for purple and blue hues. Additionally, providing adequate phosphorus levels during the flowering phase can help enhance color development. However, it's important to keep in mind that color expression can be influenced by various factors, including genetics and phenotypic variations. While some plants may exhibit vibrant purple colors, others may show minimal or no color change at all. Regardless of color, the most important aspect is ensuring optimal growth and overall health of your plants. Happy growing, and best of luck with your cultivation!

Phonescope 30x. You attach them to your smart phone. And you got a big ass screen to take pics with or check your plant much quicker.
