Hi there,
Here we go again with Nova Aurora, the clone from the latest grow which was already a clone from a re-vegged plant! So this is like 3 generations further of the same plant and now with my new 240W lights she is getting bigger at a fast pace! Wow!
You will see her growth and amazing shape in the weeks to come!
Thanks for dropping by and come back soon!
Tchau, do Brazil! =']
Hello there!
Here is the second week of veg for my Northern Light clone, Nova Aurora, what do you think? She already shows signs of being a big and healthy girl!
She was already into the growth flow in this new pot but I thought it was time for bending and tying and also some defoliation and pruning to cut the branches upside down and leave all the ones that I wish to grow and flower into beautiful branches and flowers!
Wait for new week and you will see how she bounced back!
Thanks for the visit and keep coming!
Tchau, do Brazil! =)
Hi there,
Back from first defoliation, defoliated and pruned again to keep only the branches that I want to flower and grow upside ways... after days later, she is back in, like a beast. She is getting huge, fellows and girls.
Feed chart added. it was the same for last week, but 1/4 dose.. now 1/2 dosage...
Thanks for the visit and keep following!
Tchau, do Brazil! =]
Hi there,
Almost time to flower, what do you think? I guess tomorrow I will make the last pruning to leave only the branches I believe in and then at the end of week I will swith to flower.
What do you think?
Thanks for the visit!
Hi there,
I did a little experiment with GPT-3 and asked it to generate more content based on the following report:
- "We were about to go to flower but I decided to let her gain more height and throw the trellis and give her a few more days before flipping the switch to 12/12. Veg ferts going down and just plain water for a few days before the storm."
And here it is:
"Greetings, fellow cannabis enthusiasts! It's been an exciting week in our cannabis grow diary over at growdiaries.com, where we're nurturing a spectacular strain known as Northern Lights by Sensi Seeds. This feminized version of the legendary Northern Lights cultivar has captured the hearts of cannabis connoisseurs worldwide with its exceptional qualities.
As we approach the momentous transition to the flowering stage, I made a thoughtful decision to extend our Northern Lights' vegetative phase, allowing her to reach greater heights before we initiate the 12/12 light cycle. By giving her this extra time, we're maximizing her potential to develop a robust structure that can adequately support the forthcoming profusion of buds. To further enhance her growth and create an even canopy, I meticulously installed a trellis system, providing a solid framework for our Northern Lights to flourish.
In preparation for the impending shift, we're conscientiously adjusting our nutrient regimen. Gradually tapering off the application of vegetative fertilizers, we're enabling our resilient plant to adapt seamlessly. Over the next few days, she will receive only plain water, allowing her to reset and recalibrate her nutrient intake in preparation for the imminent storm of flowering. With this careful approach, we're ensuring that our Northern Lights receives the best possible foundation for the flourishing bloom that lies ahead.
To all my dedicated followers and fellow cannabis enthusiasts, I extend my heartfelt gratitude for joining me on this remarkable journey with our Northern Lights feminized by Sensi Seeds. Together, we celebrate the beauty and intricacies of this strain as it unfolds before our eyes. Stay tuned for more updates as we witness the transformation of our green companion into an exquisite flowering beauty. Until our paths cross again, my friends, happy growing and remember to nurture your plants with love and care. Tchau, do Brazil!"
By ChatGPT haha =)
Unfortunatelly this girls had a massive white root cochineal infestation and I had to put her down at a few weeks from starting flowering because she was being consumed real fast and I believe she would not have survived until the flowering end.
Watch this out because this white root mealybug is a fight you might not win! only good treatment I found was to dump the pot into 50C water for 15m... but this pot was huge and she was already all tied up in the nets.. so... was not able to do it, but studies shows it kills 100% mealybug, however we they infecte the plant with poison and this does not get rid of the poison, so I thought it might not be worth it.. and there is also preventive tretment with beauvearia bassiana and metarzium fungus, which I tested but were not enough since the plant had already a large infestation.

Sending you positive energy for a successful harvest. May your plants grow strong and healthy, rewarding you with an abundance of vibrant blooms and delicious fruits. 🌼🌱
@BostonGirlGrows, 3k km... but we have national mail and its super safe to send seeds ... but dont worry I just got a super postcard from a friend in Canada! LSD, LSD-25 Auto, Burmeses Sativa and Black Willie =)
This girl is a beast right now, wait to see the following weaks. With an AC in flowering I hope to get her super potent buds! I used AC in the last grow and WOW!

Sad. You should have put cinnamon in the soil. Or tried a fungiside of some sort. Sierra natural science has a great assortment of organic help from seed poppers, pesticides and fungicides. I can imagine it can be difficult to grow in the Amazon! Cool deal!! 💚
@JiggiLotus, nothing can beat this bastard, take a look at the video I added to the comment and pray not to get it or find it as soon as possible so you can try to go all the way.. i had them in the next grow after this, but I found it soon and I was able to make the infestation go slower.. so I was still able to finish and harvest not so much buds (140g dry, imagine without them) and thank god they where strong! haha good luck to us! and thanks for the headsup!
and its not a fungus, its an insect with a fucking crawler
