Growing in the Amazon #7 - Nova Aurora

Unfortunatelly this girls had a massive white root cochineal infestation and I had to put her down at a few weeks from starting flowering because she was being consumed real fast and I believe she would not have survived until the flowering end. Watch this out because this white root mealybug is a fight you might not win! only good treatment I found was to dump the pot into 50C water for 15m... but this pot was huge and she was already all tied up in the nets.. so... was not able to do it, but studies shows it kills 100% mealybug, however we they infecte the plant with poison and this does not get rid of the poison, so I thought it might not be worth it.. and there is also preventive tretment with beauvearia bassiana and metarzium fungus, which I tested but were not enough since the plant had already a large infestation. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fLhLZr2ZwrA
