This is already seed 4/5 from medusa F1.
This plant will be subjected to LST and topping. I will probably top a node later compared to plant 2/5, at node 6.
The seed has not popped throught the soil yet.
First week of medusa 4/5.
I only sprayed the plant with regulsrr tap water. I will give the plants its first pH balanced water this week.
Since it has a short veg time, I will test giving it small amount of nutrients next week already. I will do this because 1: I want to see if feeding it nutrients can cause stress and force the plant to flower sooner than the 18 days it took for the other 3 medusa plants. And 2: I want to see if the extra nutrients in the seedling and veg stage will help create a bigger trained plant with more yield.
Topping will be done no doubt!
The end of week 2 for another suffering heat stressed plant. It is starting to grow finaly but it is definitely the shortest one so far at day 14 compared to the other three.
The nutrients are very minimal and Im giving it a litre at a time.
I will decide later which node I will top
Check my other diaries to see the experiment.
Lets hope she still has another 2 weeks before white pistils start to appear.
Medusa 4/5 is starting to grow very fast now. The growth is a bit slower compared to the others.
I will probably top the plant now at node 5.
I will start giving more nutrients next week as well.
Medusa 4/5 changed a lot this week.
She was topped at day 22. Additionally, I added a bend on the main stem.
She started producing white pistils this week, which is a week later compsred to the other 3. Although she did have a slower start, suggesting developmental stage is more determining instead of a certain day.
She might be big this one.
The first week of flower and the stretch is really visible with medusa 4/5!
She recoverd amazingly well from the topping and produced loads of shoots with buds.
My buddy took over this week and I will tie down the branches this week.
She looks similar to medusa 2/5 which was topped as well. This strain really likes to be topped!
Check my other diaries for the full experiment and feel free to ask questions!
Jah bless!
Boy oh boh is this going to be a big one! I topped her at node 7 and she has an insane amount of shoots coming out. I also tied the branches down but she really stretched out this girl.
I switched to bloom nutriënts this week.
This girl will really need all the space she can get.
I will probably Lollipop quite a bit because of the amount of growth next week.
The end of week 7 for Medusa F1 4/5.
I added power buds to the nutrient line. I am testing their new product.
She will definitely be the biggest and most yielding of the five.
She is really starting to flower and packing with pistils.
I am just letting her grow now, no training nedeed anymore.
Check my other Medusa diaries and feel free to ask questions!
Medusa F1 4/5 is really starting to produce flowers. It is a sea of flowersites through the plant.
Im pushing her with nutrients and will start giving PK boosters in the upcoming week.
I will maybe cut away some lower growth this week as well.
She is drinking every 4/5 days with a batch of 3 litres.
Im really looking forward to seeing her get fatter and fatter. My goal is getting 100 grams dry of the plant.
Check my other Medusa F1's for the experiment and progress.
Medusa F1 Hybrid 4/5 is packing with buds now. Many flowersites are popping up and lots of pistils are showing.
I am feeding her heavily now this week. She takes quite a lot of nutrients for an autoflower. I removed a bit of fan leaves down below and I will probably not Lollipop her.
I will continue to let her grow and feed her heavily every 3 or 4 days with 3L of water.
Stay tuned and may her buds get big and fat.
Please also check the results and progress from my other Medusa F1 Hybrid diaries.
Medusa 4/5 is doing great, her long branches are already starting to fall over. The buds arent that big yet. I added some bamboo support.
I am still feeding her heavily and she takes it really well.
I am letting her grow without any further training. I did remove a little bit of lower budsites.
The end of Medusa F1 4/5 is also near it's end.
Im amazed on how big she has gotten. I will definitely let her grow for longer and achieve a fatter result.
I am still feeding her quite heavily but will start reducing the nutrients from now on.
Im excited to see her further develop. I will also start checking the trichomes this week.
The end of week 12 for Medusa F1 4/5.
She really is packing on weight now. She will continue packing on weight for at least another 1,5 weeks. So I will harvest her in around 2 weeks.
I also started reducing the nutrients this week. She will slowly receive less and less nutes.
I started adding bamboo pipes for support underneath the branches with heavy flower.
Boy this will definitely be the highest yielding out of the 5 Medusa's. For me, topping for these strains at node 6 or 7 has worked out the best in achieving the most flower.
Stay tuned and let's see how fat we can get these buds to grow.
Please also check my other diaries!
Almost harvest for Medusa F1 4/5!
She really is packing on weight now. I added even more bamboo sticks to support the weight of the branches.
I am hardly feeding nutrients, a very low dosage. The fade is really coming out strong and some white pistils are still developing.
I will check the trichomes next week.
Happy growing!
Checky my other diaries for ongoing techniques such as topping and fimming on auto's.
Medusa F1 4/5 is about to be harvested.
The buds have stopped getting fatter and is asking to be chopped. On day 96, i checked the trichomes and almost all trichomes have turned milky.
More and more leaves are turning yellow and are falling off.
The last couple of feedings include very few nutrients and the last fed will be only water. Harvest will probably be during the end of the week. Stay tuned!
Happy growing and please check my other diaries!
The final week for Medusa F1 4/5.
All her leaves have now turned yellow and she is beautifull. This will be quite a big yield.
I will give her a final feed of water this week and then I will chop her.
This has been quite a long journey.
Finaly harvesting after 110 days there is definitely a diesel/gassy smell coming from the flower. The flowers are super dense.
The overall structure is beautifull, big buds and the leaf to calyx ratio is great for an easy trim.
The end of the fourth Medusa has come.
After 110 days she was cut. The trichomes were checked before harvest and there is a nice variety of amber, translucent and mostly cloudy.
She was topped at node 7 and this wil help with the yield. All of the flowers were too heavy and the stems couldnt support the weight, thats why some stem parts turned purple.
Overall great run, no real issues. She really got big.
@Densko, love it man! Very uniform, low riders but a lot of bud sites. From what I have seen in other diary’s they finish gas as well. How are you finding them?
@nonick123, not long anymore! My drying tent is empty so I have space again to put her in. I did notice this phenotype required a bit more time since she was very big. Additionally, when looking at the trichomes, hardly any were amber. for me this tells me it is almost done! depending on your preferences.
