Fast Buds Stardawg is a hybrid cross of (Chemdawg 4 x Tres Dawg). Estimated life cycle of this strain is 56-63 days from germination. The setup for this grow will be as follows.. Tent size - 4'x4'x6.5' 6 in 440 CFM fan ducted to push through air cooled hood 6 gallon nursery containers Pro-Mix HP + 20% extra perlite for aeration and drainage 600 watt HPS on dimmable ballast Viparspectra PAR450 - add blue spectrum during veg GH Flora Duo nutrients with GH Supplements,Terpinator and UC Roots All measurements are recorded in ml/gal. 9/13 - Seed was placed in moistened Rapid Rooter. 9/17 - They are above ground! 9/18 - Day 1 , Transplanted to their final homes once tap root showed out bottom of rapid rooter. Water PH to 6.1. Ballast set to 50% (300 watts) power. 9/20 - Day 3, Not much to do right now. Just keeping moist as needed. Got a new TDS pen and calibration solution. I had a feeling something was wonky with the old one, and sure enough, it was off by 46 ppm. The new one has a calibration set screw. I will check it bi-weekly to make sure it stays calibrated, along with my PH pen. 9/21 - Day 4, just a little water PH to 6.1.

10/2 - Day 15, both girls are showing signs of what I think is water stress. 10/4 - Day 17, moved both of the plants up to bring them a little closer to the light. Watered deeper approx 0.3 gal of water PH to 6. 10/8 - Day 21, both girls definitely off to a rough start, stunted and showing signs of overfeed at 25% strength...wtf. They are slowly starting to recover. Once they resume normal growth I will begin LST.

10/9 - Day 22, decided to try topping autos for the 1st time. So, #1 will be LST'd and #2 got topped at the 4th node this morning. Fed them at 470 PPM and 5.9 PH. Added one of my LED panel to the tent for blue spectrum during veg. 10/12 - Day 25 both girls are having different issues, both showing signs of phosphorous deficiencies, #1 showing nutrient burn at 25% floraduo strength. Flushed both plants with ph tap water & then gave 25% strength flora series with calmag. They will be dead or thirty, flirty and thriving next week.

10/17 - Day 30, girls are looking a little bit better, though overwatered but i knew that would be a consequence of the flush at this age. Will be running Flora series on this now instead of floraduo. 10/20 - Day 33, gave both girls a transition feeding at 635 PPM, 5.8 PH, they each got about 2 gallons to do a semi leach of the medium. both girls should start flowering soon, as they have been showing preflowering pistils for about a week now.

10/23 - Day 36, #1 is flowering and has some burnt tips from overfeed (these are some real divas here.lol) #2 is the one that was topped. both are stretching and developing side branches well, the topping seems to have delayed the flowering on #2, and the lst performed on #1 was released once she started stretching. 10/24 - Day 37, performed light defoliation on both girls. 10/26 - Day 39, more lst on #1, this girl is going bananas! She has stretched about 6 inches in 2 days, and gave water pH to 5.8 to #2.

10/31 - Day 44, #1 is doing pretty good though she is hungry, and she will be getting bloom nutes. #2 is droopy and just has me perplexed. she is showing some tip burn, and was given just water at her last feeding. 11/2 - Day 46, fed both girls, but they got slightly different feedings. #1 was showing some yellowing and purpling of petioles, but seems to be a little further along in budding, she was fed at 745 ppm according to early bloom wk2 of the GH DTW schedule, with 2 ml/gal of Koolbloom, 3 ml/gal of florabloom and a 5ml/gal dose of calimagic. #2 was fed at 615 ppm according to early bloom wk1 of the GH DTW schedule, with 1ml/gal of Koolbloom, 2.5 ml/gal of florabloom and a 2.5ml/gal dose of calimagic, both feedings were adjusted to a pH of 5.8.

11/7 - Day 51, #1 is chugging along throwing pistils like crazy, and #2 still hangs in there but just looks unhappy. 11/9 - Day 53, both girls got water with 2 ml/gal Hydroguard pH to 5.9 until approx 20% runoff. final readings for runoff were pH of 6.0 and ppm of 605. I also defoliated some leaves and lower shoots off #2.

You notice how the leaves are yellowing from the tip to the base and develop rust spots? that's a textbook potassium (K) deficiency; I can't see it, but there might be dark / metallic blue patches too, then you also have phosphorous deficiency. Anyway, what you need is to up the flowering nute or PK booster, what the plant uses to make buds.

11/20 - Day 64 gave the girls a feed at 715 ppm and pH set to 5.8, I'm worried their deficiencies were so severe that they may not survive till end of flower. 11/23 - Culled #2, she just wasn't turning around and I need the space for healthy plants.

12/4 - Day 78, she will get her final feed sometime this week according to ripen week of GH DTW schedule, and then begin her flush. She came from behind and pulled through deficiencies, to poke her crown up just a bit above everyone else. 12/6 - Day 80, fed her last feeding according to ripen week at 640 ppm and pH set 5.8. She will just be given water from here out until harvest. Runoff readings were was 1020 ppm and pH was 5.9.

Stardawg was my first pack of FastBuds seeds and wont be my last. The chemmy, diesel, funk she brings is just awesome, and she always packs on the trichomes, glittering like stars. First it hits you in the head with a nice cerebral rush that comes on fast, and evolves into a chill, relaxed, high.

I have alot to learn still, but am starting to understand the plant a little more with each grow. She had a rough go due to deficiencies, and almost lost her. Her buds are not quite as dense as I would like, but thats a reflection of the grow cycle, not the strain. This is one of FastBuds best if you ask me, and will always have a place in my stash.

what eslse she would have needed , she has it now, she cannibalised herself in the stretch to flowering. there she had a need of N, that she took out of the leaves. now your girl is in flower and may have a bigger need in P and K. i think you can give her the recommended dosage of florabloom. the yellow, brown leaves will not mend again... damage is done and no big problem at all. You can stay with you other fertilisers/ liquids, just rise the amount of florabloom, to the recommended amount.
