6/6 - scuffed the seed and dropped it in a shot glass of water. She'll sit on top of my light, covered by a coffee mug.
6/7 am - the seed sank, transferred to paper towel and placed back under the coffee mug.
6/7 pm - the seed is cracking open, moved to a solo cup of soil.
6/9 - she's trying, may break the surface today or tomorrow
6/10 - she's out!
6/13 - transplanted into a 3 gallon fabric pot, watered in with pH adjusted water with nutes, gave her about a half gallon
6/18 - the pot is still quite heavy, not ready for another feeding yet
7/7 - flushed her with pH adjusted water to prevent a build up of nutrients, gave her a half gallon, removed some large fan leaves, topped her, and started training her limbs outward
7/14 - fed and watered, gave her a half gallon of pH adjusted water with nutrients, fed CalMag and Recharge at full strength, fed micro, grow, and Bloom at half strength. Took off some of the bottom leaves for better airflow.
7/20 - still feeling heavy, not ready for water, bent over the top branches and adjusted all the training
7/22 - defoliated and gave her a half gallon of pH adjusted water with nutrients
7/25 - top dressed her with worm castings and gave her a half gallon of pH adjusted water with nutrients
7/26 - raised the lights a couple inches to accommodate her stretching
7/29 - gave her a half gallon of pH adjusted water with nutrients
8/1 - she grew a bit, so I raised the lights. I gave her a half gallon of pH adjusted water with nutrients.
8/5 - the bottom of the pot felt dry so I fed her a half gallon of pH adjusted water with nutrients.
8/6 - she looks ready to flower.
8/9 - fed her a half gallon of pH adjusted water with nutrients
8/11 - defoliated and lollypopped her quite a bit. Then I fed her with a half gallon of pH adjusted water with nutrients to lessen shock.
8/16 - gave her a half gallon of pH adjusted water with nutrients
8/18 - took some large fan leaves off to let light get lower
8/20 - gave her a half gallon of pH adjusted water with nutrients
8/23 - gave her a half gallon of pH adjusted water with nutrients
8/26 - defoliated her a bit and gave her a half gallon of pH adjusted water with nutrients
8/27 - she keeps stretching. I raised the light as high as it goes and will need to be creative to get the light any higher.
9/5 - raised the lights as much as possible, hopefully she's done stretching
9/6 - fed and watered her, gave her a half gallon of pH adjusted water with nutrients
9/7 - fed and watered, gave her a half gallon of pH adjusted water with nutrients
9/9 - the light was still too intense, the upper leaves are curling under, I swapped out the RA2000 with the RA1000. The PPFD and DLI are still too high, but better now. Also, fed and watered her, gave her a half gallon of pH adjusted water with nutrients.
9/12 - swapped the light out again, back to the RA2000. And I topped the two tallest branches to try to reduce light stress. I read that topping during flower is a no-no, but we'll see how it goes.
9/13 - fed and watered, gave her a half gallon of pH adjusted water with nutrients
9/18 - fed and watered, gave her a half gallon of pH adjusted water with nutrients
9/20 - defoliated a bit, fed and watered, gave her a half gallon of pH adjusted water with nutrients
9/24 - fed and watered, gave her a half gallon of pH adjusted water with nutrients
9/28 - fed and watered her, gave her a half gallon of pH adjusted water with nutrients, took off a handful of large fan leaves this evening
10/01 - upgraded the light, PPFD and DLI are more consistent across the canopy, fed and watered her gave her a half gallon of water with nutrients
10/05 - fed and watered her, gave her a half gallon of pH adjusted water with nutrients. Flipped to 12/12 light cycle.
10/09 - fed and watered her, gave her a half gallon of pH adjusted water with nutrients
10/14 - fed and watered, gave her a half gallon of pH adjusted water with nutrients. I discovered that the tent temp has been getting too low at night, causing RH to spike. I added a heater and extra fans to help mitigate bud rot from taking hold. No signs of any bud rot on this girl. She looks like she has a ways to go until I can harvest her.
10/15 - defoliated her a bit, could definitely spend more time on her, trying to open up the center to increase airflow and keep bud rot at bay.
10/17 - fed and watered, gave her a half gallon of pH adjusted water with and defoliated quite a bit more. I can see through her now. She could still use more defoliating.
10/22 - fed and watered, gave her a half gallon of pH adjusted water with nutrients
10/24 - fed and watered gave her a half gallon of pH adjusted water with nutrients
10/26 - fed and watered gave her a half gallon of pH adjusted water with nutrients, ran out of Advanced Nutes, switched to Botanicare Bloom
10/28 - fed and watered, gave her a half gallon of pH adjusted water with nutrients
10/30 - fed and watered, gave her a half gallon of pH adjusted water with nutrients
11/01 - fed and watered, gave her a half gallon of pH adjusted water with nutrients
11/03 - fed and watered, gave her a half gallon of pH adjusted water with nutrients
11/06 - flushed with pH adjusted water and HYCLEAN
11/08 - flushed and watered, gave her a half gallon of pH adjusted water with HYCLEAN
11/11 - flushed and watered, gave her a half gallon of pH adjusted water with HYCLEAN
11/13 - flushed and watered, gave her a half gallon of pH adjusted water with HYCLEAN, wasn't paying attention and gave her Recharge as well
11/16 - flushed, gave her a half gallon of pH adjusted water with HYCLEAN
11/18 - flushed, gave her a half gallon of pH adjusted water with HYCLEAN
11/20 - trichomes look good to me, chopping in the morning
Such a complex aroma, sweet, floral, gassy, slightly sour, with a hint of grape. Washed her and hanging up to dry. Ought to be ready to try by Christmas.
