My germination method is a little in depth but I have great results. I always start with my small 2 inch transplant bag filled with half sprout island on the bottom and half promix with mycorrhizea mixed in on the top. Then I put it in my tent to get the soil up to temp and I float the seed for 12 hours. After the 12 hrs I make a little hole 1/4 inch deep and place the seed in and cover with soil and water in. Always get seeds to pop in 2 to 3 days. Till next week
This week I was thinking if letting it sit in the 4 inch but I'm not a fan of watering all the time so I transplanted her into a 1 gallon transplant bag. I plan on topping it at the 3rd node to keep the plant short. I will be transplanting one more time either into a 7 gallon or a 10 gallon that I'm still deciding. Till next week
This week I just forgot about her and let her do her thing. I think I decided in going to top at the 6th node to see if it works better with a Scrog net. Nothing exciting till next week
We all know vegging isn't the most fun to watch so I skipped a week. In the last 2 weeks I have just been watering and then about a week ago I topped her. She recovered nicely and now I have 8 branches to work with. This time around I think I'm just going to let it grow strait up so it gets tall enough so when I put it in my flower tent with my scrog I can bend it to fill the tent quicker. Till next week
These last 2 weeks I have pretty much been watching her grow and watering. The plant was starting to hate the 1 gallon so I transplanted into a 3 gallon pot. She took nicely to the new pot and will be doing a final transplant into a 10 gallon. Till next week!
She is still going strong in thee 3 gallon I transplanted into but I will be putting her in the final 10 gallon tomorrow. This will give it 3 weeks to settle in before I flip her. The reason I need 3 weeks is I have to make sure I fill my 3 x 3 so I veg a bit longer and try to aim for around an 80 day veg. It's worth it for me because the yield is better the longer I veg. Till next week
This week she has been settling into the 10 gal pot nicely and it's looking like she will have 2 more weeks at least to settle in before I flip her. I pruned up a couple leaves from the bottom as well as some lower growth that was never going to make it. This round I went alot heavier with the glacial rock dust and with the 10 gal pot I feel the roots will have plenty of room to stretch her legs. Hopefully next week she will be in the flower tent so I can start training her into the scrog. Till next week!
Haven't been doing much to her but letting her get used to the new pot and this will be the last week she will be in the veg tent. Thursday I will be harvesting my other photo and be putting this one in to scrog it and fill my 3 x 3 quicker. I have never done this method before where I let it grow tall then spread it out. Either way should be some fire from all the pictures I have seen from the parents. Till next week
This week was the fun one because I got to set the plant up in the flower tent. She got way taller then I expected and definitely struggled a little bit getting the scrog in there. After a couple days of moving branches around and now I feel I have a pretty decent canopy. This will be the last week of veg and I will be flipping to flower. Can't wait see smell the terpenes on this one because this is my first in house genetics run and their strains always look amazing. Till next week!
This week was the first week of flower and everything is going great so far. I did do a feeding a week ago so she should be good till at least half way through flower then I will be top dressing again. This week was pretty easy just watching her start her stretch. In 2 weeks I will be doing another defoliation and then letting her go. Till next week!
This week I have been trying to manage the canopy the best I can but at this point I can only do so much. Luckily it seems to be slowing down a bit and stacking out so hopefully she doesn't stretch much more. From here on out I'm just going to keep controlling my enviornment and watering and then feed in 2 weeks. Hopefully this one finishes better then my last grow. Looking forward to watching this one flower from the pictures I have seen of the parents. Till next week!
This week I have just been watering and hopeing it doesn't stretch anymore lol. Also did one last big defoliation to get all the bigger fan blocking buds and to get the growth that isn't going to get enough light. This will be the last time I cut anything off and from here on out with be focusing on watering and enviornment. I will be feeding in another week to make sure she makes it to the end of flower which I really have no idea how long flower will be but I'm guessing 65 to 75 days. That being said she is moving along quickly and wouldn't be surprised if it's 60 to 70 days. I'm already starting to see trichomes form everywhere and by next week will have some nice eye candy to look at. All the pictures of the parent strains are always looking super frosty so I'm hopeing this one will be the same. Till next week!
This week there wasn't much to do except watch her grow and water. I'm pretty sure she is done stretching thankfully which she ended up stretching a foot and a half and stacked really nicely. Judging by the trichomes on the leaves and stems is looking look she is going to be frosty. Can't wait for the next couple of weeks when the frost gets thicker. Till next week!
This week she was drinking alot about a gallon and a half every 2 days. She is looking healthy and I don't think I'm going to do another feeding which is a gamble but with this 10 gal pot I think I have enough food in the soil to make it to the end. I Also did some light defoliation this week to keep the air flowing. Now she is really turning up the frost and the terpenes are getting stronger smelling. Really looking forward to the finish of this one. I'm hopeing I break the 12 oz mark with this one. Till next week!
This week was an easy one as I did nothing but water. I think the hard part is done till harvest and now it's just watching her finish. She is already super frosty so I'm hopeing she gets super thick in these next 2 weeks but I think she might have 3. Till next week!
This week was pretty easy as I just watched the buds get thicker. I did decide to hit her with some terp tea from roots organic to push her to the end. She is really pushing it that frost and it's crazy to see how far it goes out in the fan leaf.
Really looking forward to seeing this one finsh but it might be a couple more weeks. Till next week!
This week I started lowering the light intensity as well as the temps down to 71t and running 55%RH. I think she is on the home stretch and has another week maybe a week and a half. Can't believe three frost on this one and I'm loving the terpenes that smell like a really sweet fruity pebbles. Looking forward to harvesting this one and she is already at 5%amber. Till next week!
This week I have just been trying to keep my patients as I really just want to chop this plant to make room for my next plant but I'm waiting another week or so. It just looks like she might still keep bulking out. Still holding at 5 to 10% amber which I do like but I'm going a bit further this time. Other then that these buds are looking beautiful and smell like fruity pebbles. Till next week!
I have been working on getting this 3x3 dialed and it's always a challenge. Even this plant got way to tall but I ended up making the best of it. I just watched my light intensity and heat and the buds came out looking beautiful and smelling even better. She is smelling very fruity with a pungent finish and it is very sticky. I'm super happy with this run and definitely feel like I succeeded this time even though I would have done some things differently. Either way I learned allot and can't wait to run the next one. I will be chopping this in 2 days once my dry tent opens up I can't wait to smoke some of this. Till harvest!
This strain just is absolutely amazing in how it grows and produces sugar coated buds. From the beginning in veg where she was making a beautiful canopy with huge leaves to stretching for the heavens and producing a foot long stem covered in buds. I can definitely say this is my best photoperiod grow to date and would definitely grow this strain again. The only thing I would do differently is keep her shorter but she did really well considering how close the buds were to the light. I will definitely be growing this one again maybe next year but I think I'm going to grape another strain of theirs and run it because these genetics are amazing. She came out smelling like fruity pebbles with a pungent finish. Can't wait to smoke this one in a month. Till next harvest!
@DYNOMYCO, I think I can say now I have noticed the dyno myco really improving my soil. Now that I have mixed a couple if used soil into my soil bin I have noticed my plants are uptaking nutrients better. I think soil just gets better but will be really good if I keep using this stuff. It's got me hooked now. I love how far the product goes as well. Will definitely be buying more!
@DYNOMYCO, I have always used a mycorrhizea in my mix and I have only used it for a couple full grows. I can see it's working as well as my other but it's hard to say if it's better yet. This plant is definitely looking nice but I reuse all my soil so I feel after 6 months of using it I will see a difference.
Wow buddy!! super nice buds
What an amazing grow so far - good job and well done 🤝
Happy Growing & cant wait for your upcoming weeks 🌱
Cheers, Bud Boutique 👩🌾
Looks killer! I'm heavily debating doing this one on my next grow, you'd do me a solid if you can update with a smoke report. Really interested in this.
