Excited to get this grow underway! All 4 seeds popped with no issues via paper towel method. The 2 Seedsman seeds, White Widow and OG Kush, both popped after 24 hours. It took the Green Bodhi seeds, Golden Pineapple and Hazy Voyage a little longer, roughly 72 hours.
I had originally planned to run autos this grow, but with the success of this past harvest I couldn’t resist another round of the photos! This is my first go with both Seedsman and Green Bodhi but I have heard good things about both and wanted to try something new.
Happy growing!
Overall it was a good first week! All 4 seedlings are looking good! 3 of the 4 are consistent in height at 2 inches, with White Widow slightly shorter at 1.5 inches. I will be starting BioRoot this week to promote healthy root development, I ran BioRoot start to finish last grow and really think it had a very positive impact on my growth overall. Since my starter cups were so small, I’ll be transplanting into 1 gallon fabric bags in the next week or so and will begin to introduce other nutrients.
Transplanted to 1 gallon fabric pots. Aside from that it’s been a relatively uneventful week. I did notice slight indications of overwatering but I’m hoping the transplant will help remedy that. I seem to have a hard time finding a happy medium for watering in starter cups (or solo cups, I ran into a similar issue last grow) but I love my fabric pots. Hoping to see some more growth this week and see those nodes start developing!
Lots of good growth this week! I am noticing slight signs of nute burn on a few plants, so I’m going to recalibrate my ph meter before the next feeding. At 5.8 I really don’t feel I should be seeing much burn, but it’s also more visible on the plant that was overwatered so could have to do with that as well.
I did notice something really cool/odd with the White Widow plant. Immediately after repotting to the 1 gal bag I dropped the entire plant on her head, I couldn’t see any visible breaks or damage, so I repotted her again just to see if she’d make it. I am incredibly impressed by the resiliency of this strain so far, at some when I dropped it I must have caused trauma to the top of the stem, because this baby effectively topped herself! Not only that, but the recovery was significantly faster than plants I have topped in the past. I’m very excited to see how she continues to develop. I’ll be introducing some LST this week to help get things opened up some.
I plan on topping the other 3 plants later this week, then giving them a week or so to recover before transplanting up to 5 gallon bags. Excited to see what the week brings!
A little overwatered in the pics, but it’s been another good week. I am seeing slight cal mag deficiency on the OG Kush and a little tip burn on the Hazy Voyage and Golden Pineapple, but I think that’s because my ph pen was a little off last week. I have since recalibrated my pen so hopefully those issues start to resolve soon.
I did decide to top last week, with the exception of the White Widow plant since she topped herself very early on due to some transplant trauma. I will top all 4 again sometime down the line after they’ve been potted into the 5 gal bags.
I do plan on potting up to 5 gals later this week, towards the end of the week or weekend. I contemplated 3 gallon bags first, then 5 gals, but am leaning toward skipping the 3’s altogether just so I can a little more serious with the LST. I will be utilizing the ScrOG method this grow so want to get them all opened up and trained out as much as possible so we can fill the net again.
Looking forward to the growth the week brings!
Another solid week in the tent. Successfully transplanted into 5 gallon bags. They all had beautifully developed root balls (thank you BioRoot!). I am glad I repotted when I did, with the development visible I think all 4 would be rootbound if I waited much longer. All have responded extremely well to the larger pots, I’m hoping the Golden Pineapple can catch up to the other 3 as it’s been a little on the smaller side.
Now that they have recovered from the transplant I need to get more into LST, really open them up to prepare them as much as possible for the ScrOG that’s to come. I will top them each a 2nd time in the next week or 2 to also assist in filling out the net.
Hoping to see all continue to grow and thrive this week. Happy Growing!
Really pleased with the growth across the board this week. Plants were doing so well I decided to do my 2nd topping mid week. Took a few more than I intended, pinching a total of 27 tops across the 4 plants (6 on some, 7 or 8 on others). I also did some light defoliation to open up the inside of each plant and promote better light penetration and airflow. All 4 have responded extremely well!
I am lowering my ScrOG net today, and am excited to see how they respond. I had really good results last grow and am hoping to replicate that again this go round.
Switching to late veg nutes this week and next, then will transition into flower. Really hoping to see a lot of growth this week and next from the topping/defoliation/LST/ScrOG combo.
Hope this week brings lots of positive growth to all. Happy growing!
Another solid week this past week. I did a ton of defoliation early week, and now it looks like it could use a little more. I’ll defoliate some early this week then switch to 12/12 this coming weekend. Very excited to see these ladies stretch! Happy growing!
Another solid week in the tent. I started the week with a pretty heavy defoliation, all 4 had recovered so well by Thursday that I decided to go ahead and lollipop (light lolli, I only stripped the bottom 3rd of each).
All look to be doing well, and seem to have recovered from the initial stress, so initiating the flip to 12/12 tonight.
Overall I am incredibly happy with the growth of all 4 in veg. I would have loved to see the Golden pineapple get a little larger, but hopefully it will catch up in stretch.
My goal the next few weeks will be to train and tuck as they stretch, filling out my ScrOG net completely with the eventually endgame of filling the tent wall to wall with growth.
Excited to see what this transitional week will bring! Happy Growing!
It’s been another good week in the tent. I have decided instead of defoliating during the transition/stretch I am going to tuck fan leaves as much as possible. 2 weeks from today I’ll go through and do a solid defoliation to promote light penetration and airflow then will probably leave them be until harvest, aside from taking dying or problem leaves here and there.
Very happy with the canopy spread and am optimistic that we’ll get the last few empty spaces filled up here soon. It’s always a coin toss when you’re using so many different strains (ScrOG helps), but very happy with the overall evenness of the canopy as well.
The White Widow plant has consistently been doing the best in my opinion, but very very pleased with the progress on all 4 strains. Excited to see what continued growth the next week will bring. Happy growing!
Another solid week in the tent. I noticed there was a ton of lower overcrowded growth, so I decided to lollipop a little earlier than planned. I also did some mild defoliating of the Hazy Voyage a canopy, that one seems to be incredibly bushy and she really responds well to defoliating (as you can see in the pics it’s about time for a little more!) the plan is to wait until the end of the week and go through and defoliate the entire tent as needed. Hoping to make this the last big defoliation of this grow, I’ll still pick leaves here and there as needed of course, but want this to be the last big one if possible.
Very happy with the canopy coverage. We have every square in the net filled, with pretty solid wall to wall growth. Very excited to see these buds continue to form and fatten up in the weeks to come. Happy growing!
Not a lot to update this week. A lot of stretching from the Golden Pineapple, she’s finally caught up to the other 3. We’ve got a full lush wall to wall canopy, so mission accomplished there!
I did some pretty heavy defoliation on all 4. It’s apparent the Golden Pineapple and Hazy Voyage will need at least one more heavy defoliation before harvest, these ladies are very, very leafy!! That said all 4 seem very healthy and hearty, so excited to see the progress this next week brings. I’m ready to see these buds start packing on some weight!! Happy growing!
Not a ton of updates this week. Another solid week in the tent for all 4. Both Hazy Voyage and Golden Pineapple surprised me with some last minute stretching early week, but they seem to have calmed down now. I wish I would have planned for it and I would have trained those 2 a little more aggressively, but lesson learned and we’ll keep it in mind for the next run! I did a ton of defoliating again this week, although you can’t tell by looking at the plants!
Starting to see some beautiful trich development on all 4, but it’s especially pronounced on the White Widow and OG Kush plants. I included some close ups to showcase the beginning of the frostiness.
Very excited to see these buds pack on some weight, and see these trichs continue to develop in the next few weeks. 4 weeks til harvest (give or take a few days). Happy growing everyone!
Not much to report this week. Buds are packing on some weight across the board. Switching to late flower nutes this week and next, then will give a week to ripen followed by a flush week before harvest. Excited to see these buds further develop and to see what the week brings. Happy growing!
Didn’t do anything aside from feed this week, all 4 are shaping up gorgeously. The white widow has developed a beautiful orange almost purplish hue. Prior to this week she looked almost identical to the OG Kush, so really loving her development. she is looking very close! Awesome trich development across the board, but the white widow is by far the frostiest. Closing in on harvest, just a few more weeks now! Very excited to see what these last few weeks bring!
Not a ton to report this week. All 4 are looking great! Dropping Armor SI, Calmag, and BioRoot, just feeding the main trio this week and will flush next week. We are VERY close to harvest and I am extremely excited to see our final numbers. Happy growing everyone!
I didn’t weigh wet, but dry weight was 155g! So approximately 5.5oz. Super sticky, frosty, with absolutely beautiful aroma. She was very easy to grow, and extremely hearty. I dropped this plant on her head as a seedling, and instead of dying, this plant essentially mainlined itself and maintained steady, vigorous growth throughout her entire life cycle. Kudos to Seedsman on these genetics. This is one of the more beautiful plants I’ve grown and is definitely a contender for my favorite strain. I did have some late stage hermaphroditism, but didn’t seem to do affect the taste, or development of this bud, and there was no self pollination that I can see at this time. That said, she did pollinate a few OG kush buds, and I’m very excited to see how those genetics pair in my next grow.
Ended with a total dry weight of 155g, approximately 5.5 oz. This and the white widow had the exact same yield. Very impressive buds, nice and resinous with a good nose. Another great strain by seedsman.
Hazy Voyage was a little bit of a pain. For all the work she required (CONSTANT defoliation) she had the lowest yield. Dry weight was 98g, approx 3 oz 11g. Given the work needed I was relatively unimpressed, buds are much smaller, and I ended up with a ton of larf that went towards bubble hash. I know I will grow again (was not a single pack lol) but will focus more on training out and will probably only top once given how bushy she was.
Dry weight on this one clocked in at 123g, approximately 4.4oz. Even though she took a little longer to mature than the other 3, she still rewarded me with huge chunky gorgeous smelling nugs absolutely covered in orange hairs. This strain probably has the best nose out of the 4 harvested, and I am definitely excited to try again. Green Bodhi did a great job on these genetics. Overall I’m very impressed with this total harvest, between the 4 strains we topped a pound total at a whopping 18.8 oz!! Started seeds today for the next one so stay tuned!
I'm currently growing Green Bhodi Golden Pineapple and just wrapped up week 8 of flower. It’s definitely slow to mature. Do you remember how many weeks of flower it took before you harvested? I’m thinking it might need another two weeks, maybe more, but I haven't found much info on typical flowering times for this strain.
