BSF Gorilla Glue Auto

Good start of the first week! GG2 seems more vigorous that GG1. Day 10: GG1 looks droopy... this is the second strain with the same symptoms in the same soil Monkey Light Mix Pro. This time i didn't water that much, but she looks droopy still and behind GG2 in terms of growth. Now im solely blaming this mix. The package says to use it as it (without extra coco nor anything else). I haven't watered this plant for seven days now and the soil is still moist. GG2 looks great in the same custom soil I've used for my Tangie XXL. Watered her with 250cc and 0.5ml/l Power Root and some BAC Funky Fungy. Day 11: GG2 vigorous growth; GG1 growing at a much slower rate and droopy. Day 12: got my PH meters finally. PH were completely off by a lot. Watered a little bit with plain water with PH 6.08 Day 14: watered again with a mix of water, cold coffee and lemon @ PH 6.05. Using a greater amount of water at the risk overwatering but trying to get that PH down. I think they will stress a little but not too much.

I think I learnt a couple of things with the Tangie, and now GG is growing stronger. She is starting to grow early branches that I didn't see with the Tangie until 3rd week. I'll apply LST once she has 4 nodes, and the 4th is well developed (i think she'll be able to handle it, and at the same time it will be easier to bend). This would be day 20 approx. I'm watering away from the roots, applying Power Roots, and making sure the solution is at PH 6.2.

Starting week 3!! She looks strong. I think this time my LST is improving and I'm trying to be a bit more aggressive. Im also trying to tie secondary branches to improve the light and planning for the future structure of the plant. Feeling a bit more confident. Im also getting the hang of watering and light mix. I'm trying to use less Power Roots, and I'm watering with a lot more water than I use to. I'm also keeping lower humidity levels due to the flowering stage of the other plant. This one seems to be ok with vegetating at 55% Day 27: she seems to be adapting to the LST just fine. While Im getting a better shape of the main branch this time, Im still struggling a bit on what to do with the secondary branches. Anyway, still trying to figure it out. This second grow I think will have a better canopy than the Tangie but still, there is still a lot of room for improvement. Day 29: readjusted LST

Day 31: She is showing some sign of pre-flowers. Added a bit of early bud candy, enzymes, and calmag to the first watering of the week. Next watering will be plain water and enzymes. As soon as she starts officially flowering I'll add again bud candy and some extra calmag. Water is PH 6.2 - 6.3 Day 33: Second watering of the week: She is been running solely on the light mix so far, so added a solid amount of Terra Grow and Power Roots, along with Enzymes, Bud Candy (no CalMag this time I dont like how it interacts with terra grow due to the added Nitrogen) day 35: readjusted LST on the main branch and secondary branches. The goal is to open the canopy as much as I can.

She is stretching into flowering. I'll be switching nutes to half veg/half bloom. I'll keep feeding Power Roots and readjusting LST to keep canopy open. Lights are a bit higher to see if I can get better internodal spacing. Day 40: I've identified a couple of places where I can improve branch spacing and open up the canopy a bit more. I'll LST a bit more tomorrow. She is stretching more than the Tangie XXL, probably due light height. Just like with the Tangie, I'm doing a main feed once a week and watering in between with bud candy and enzymes. She is looking great and starting to smell too :) Cons: my house stinks 😓

So proud of her :D Jokes aside. She is growing really strong, very nice height and internodal spacing, a lot of colas. There is still some yellowing on the tips that I cant figure out yet... but no biggie. Not much to say, I'll keep readjusting the LST to open up the canopy. I'll keep feeding her the same. Maybe a little extra CalMag and that's it. She is not giving me any troubles :) Day 45 (4/8): 2nd week of flowering. She has stretched a lot. She is now drinking 1.5 liters every 48/72 hours (i water every time the pot feels light and the soil's top 10cm are dry or almost dry). Added more CalMag, Terra Bloom, Enzymes, Bud Candy, and Power Roots.

Day 52: I've been busy with work and it was difficult to keep up posting photos and keeping track of everything Anyway, she stretched a lot and the flowers are getting bigger and bigger. She seems healthier and stronger than the Tangie at this same point in time. She is drinking 1.5L every 48hs and taking up heavy feeding like a champ. LST seems to have worked marvels on her. The canopy looks really open and light is able to reach every bud site. Really happy with the result!! 😀 Day 54: Watered again. Buds are growing and fattening. Some inner branches stretched and the canopy is becoming more homogenous. Defoliated a bit and took at some lower small buds that wont develop.

Day 60: Week 4 of flowering! She is still taking heavy feeding and looks very healthy. Some leaves at the very top tacoed a bit. She grew tall and a bit close to the light but no big deal, she is handling it well. Im still not sure if letting her grow more internodal space was a good idea. I believe she is getting more light in between branches and growing larger buds than the Tangie because of this. I'll wait to the harvest to compare both results. Day 63: Watered with Plagron Bloom, Bud Candy, enzymes and a little bit of CalMag. There is a little bit of wind burn on one of the lower fan leaves but it is expected since my intake is right in that corner. She stopped stretching and her buds are becoming bigger and bigger!

Day 68: She is looking awesome but I think i found a bit white mildew in one leave. Im spraying her now with Eco Hemp Pro and reduced humidity to 40% both during night and daytime. Luckily days here have been on the lower range of RH so that helps to keep things controlled. I think she'll be ok without the need of removing buds. On the positive side, buds are fuller and she is entering her final phase. She probably has another 10 to 15 days before harvest. Day 75: she is still ripening. Package claims it’s 65 day strain but most of her trichones are still transparent. I think she’ll take 85 90 days. Having said that I only have 12 days before traveling so yeah. I need her to hurry up. I won’t able to jar her but I’ll may be able to leave her hanging in a controlled env before leaving.

This Gorilla Glue is awesome. 👽 Buds are looking gorgeous and fuller. Lots of orange pistils and she smells! If you like the content follow on IG @elgaucho.grows 💪 Day 77: I fed her today one last time. I think i'll stop feeding her on day 80 and start watering with plain water. The last grow I stopped feeding on day 65 thinking I was probably going to harvest on day 75. This is because I was following BSF's instructions. Now I understand that each plant is different and may grow different than what's expected. So I'll be checking for cloudy trichomes. When most of them become cloudy, I'll stop feeding so she can use whatever is left. Day 80: water only from this point on. I'll harvest next tuesday probably.

Posting this week so late. I dont know why i never ended this diary, but yeah... here it is :) BSF Gorilla Glue comes with tovely buds, gave a great yield for a beginner, and a very pleasant smoke at the end.
