It’s a breeding project involving Seed Junky Genetics and our favorite Blackberry Kush. The results are a fast flowering, above average yielding, and highly resinous (great for extraction) variety. An ideal sativa selection for new growers, but experienced growers will be able to dial in Black Candyland for optimum resin production, high THC %, and incredible yields. Fed them a bit with Holland Secret micro,grow,bloom. The weather wasn't that great this week, rain and cloud with sunny break and smog from the forest fires, the first two weeks i'd been keeping them in the shadows from noon till 2:45pm on the side of the house. This week let them in the raised garden during daytime weather permitting, when it pours i put them still under the balcony but light showers i let them feel the fresh drops 💦 Will be potting them very soon in a mixture of Pro-Mix and soil and will be adding Gaia Green all purpose along with Gaia Green worm castings. Helloing to all visitors and friends 👋🏻 Past week has been better, weather wise.. it's July after all 😄🌤️ Still haven't potted them yet.. sooner the better, i know 😬 I sprinkled Gaia Green all purpose 04 - 04 - 04 on Tuesday. This morning it was raining and put them under the balcony, just trying to avoid unnecessary watering.. anyhoo, It stopped raining and got them out an hour later and the leaves were still wet, when looking at them later some leaves looks like they got burnt 🤔 As long as the new growth's healthy I won't be worrying for now. Helloing 🗣️ dear friends/visitors! I finally potted the girls.. 🤞🏻😅. I used Pro-Mix Premium All Purpose mix 112L : Along with 2 bags of garden soil 50L each. Mixed it all up then added 90% of 2lbs of Gaia Green Worm casting And 1 1/2 US Cup of Gaia Green all Purpose 4-4-4 When transplanting I sprinkled Wallace WOW Organic Wonder Premium Mycorrhizal Inoculant . They got watered under the thunderstorms this week and especially yesterday's storm was accompanied with Tornadoes 🌪️ Alert 🚨 Hence why i changed the area where they were and brought them closer to the raised garden. They got plenty of "top notch"fresh rainwater 😂 The new growth looks healthy. as I definitely over fed them with nutrients when i sprinkled some Gaia Green all Purpose 4-4-4 when they were still in the small pots Nuts Burnt occurred, lesson learned. The 2 biggest pots are 7 gallons And third one could be a 4 1/2 gallons not sure as there was no markings on it. Besides some thunderstorms this past week the weather was nice and warm and now they seems to be thriving as it has been a week in their new pots. Thanks for stopping by!! All was good this week, still haven't had a chance to water them as Mother Nature is taking care of that😂 With thunderstorms and sunny break in between which the whole garden seems to appreciate. This morning I topped bottom 2 shoots along with fan leaves as the fan leaves didn't have the typical cannabis leaf and don't generate much power to the shoots and anyway those 2 first shoots Never get big anyway 😆 That's all for this week. Helloing 👋🏻 all friends and visitors. Easy week as the weather was sunny with showers. I haven't yet been watering the plants since the transplanting, the humidity brings the almighty spider mites 🕷️ ... time to move the gals away from the raised bed garden. I sprayed the gals with an insecticidal soap, the brand is Safer's, i use a concentrate which i add to water at a ration of 10ml. Per 500ml. Of water. I had noticed 3 days ago that some top leaves had like some tiny dried marks like if it was wind burn like, so i kept an eye open knowing so well that was a specific critter... yesterday after it rained all morning i went to check on them and with the sun i easily noticed a spider webbing with rain drops pearling on top of the middle gal, removed it and crushed 👌🏻 that night crawler who just froze there blinded by the late afternoon sun 😆 I plan to weekly spray them and stop when flowering starts. Helloing 👋🏻 friends and visitors. Gals are doing well, days are getting shorter and i am anticipating when they start flowering which will be by next week or so... I did some defoliation at the bottom of the plants, more to comes eventually. Tallest gal is at 45 inches and other two at 39 inches each. They have that smell when near by or while attending the garden... it promises for when the buds comes out 😜 For the past week an half the rain water isn't enough to water them, I've been watering them every morning even if there is rain in the forecast for afternoon or evening. Helloing 👋🏻 all friends and visitors. 🚨⚠️Saturday August 12th MALE ALERT🚨⚠️ Sad news my tallest plant in the middle was a beautiful strong male...down he went... to city compost facility 😅 Luckily male plants show their apparatus a week before the girls start flowering.... one down and 2 beautiful Lady plants going strong 😍 So..... it gave me the opportunity to transplant that skinny girl from that 4 gallon pot into the vacant 7 gallon pot. Win win situation isn't it? 😄 At the beginning of the week i fed the gals with Advanced nutrients "Big Bud". And yesterday August 17th i top dressed them with "Gaia Power Bloom" With a ratio of 1 tbsp per gallon of media(soil). That's all for this week folks!! Y'all remember me transplanting that skinny plant from a 4 gallons pot into a 7 gallons pot... it thrived so well than it grew pollen sacs..😑 So here we are with the golden child. out of 5 purchased seeds only one is a girl.... and she smells so good 😊 I'm planning to do some defoliation in the coming week, nothing major mostly the main fan leaves. And also took "some"inside fan leaves from shoots who were fully matured to allow more sunlight in the plant. Fed her 4 litres of water with Big Buds every second day and plain water in between except for the day it rained(1). Helloing 👋🏻 friends and visitors Past week felt like we were vacationing in Jamaica 🇯🇲 , warm and sunny 🌞 32°C, our lady was thirsty and she had no problem drinking a 6 litres of water. Gave her Big Bud every second day and started giving her Diablo Monster Flowers... Cut down some leaves here and there Nothing major. Helloing 👋🏻friends and visitors. Temperature dropped down compared to last week, back to September temperatures. My gal wasn't as thirsty as last week this week, fed her 5 litres on Saturday and Sunday then 4 litres on Monday then it got cloudy on the afternoon and rained over night, haven't watered her since, Tuesday night it rained and decided it was enough water for her and brought her in all night and day as it was cold and raining and from now on i will bring her inside when it rains to avoid bud rot. Did some more defoliation this morning as the sugar leaves are getting bigger and some fan leaves were turning yellowing brown tips which is normal as the plant is cutting back energy from the fan leaves at this point of flowering. She smells delicious 🤤 the night I brought her in, the next morning the whole house was smelling beautifully 😁 I planted( poked in the ground nothing delicate 😂) 4 shoots in the garden back in July 21st it was my first defoliation of all 3 then... and 1 died, 2 never got big and 1 started growing about 3 weeks ago and luckily that shoot was from the only female of the grow as it is flowering with a 3 weeks late will it makes it before the first frost!? 🤞🏻 Perhaps i should start a diary on her own.... we shall see 😂 Thanks for stopping by!! Helloing 👋🏻 friends and visitors Monday was cloudy and light showers over night into Tuesday till noon She spent most of Tuesday inside, the aroma 😋 Wednesday till today Friday blue sky barely a breeze typical autumn day and the forecast fingers crossed 🤞🏻 it will stay that way for the next 2 weeks... that!! I'll believe it when I see it 😂 Anyhoo she's doing well, her buds are getting bigger by the week, the sugar leaves are getting bushier, some pistils are getting darker at the tips. Fed her Monday and Thursday 4 litres of water with 2.8 grams of Monster Flower and 2.8 grams of Monster K, Along with 10 ml of Big Bud for good measures😅😄 And fed her water only today, about 3 litres give or take.. Daytime temperatures 20°C And nighttime temperatures 9°C Some fan leaves have the purple hues underneath them probably associated with the cold nights which is nice to look at 😄 No pics but i checked the trichomes and they were half milky and half clear. The pistils are still getting brownish and the buds are starting to puffin up. And i am growing impatient 😂 Today was the last feeding with Big Bud and Monster Flower And will continue with Monster K And also I've ordered "Advanced Nutrients-Flawless Finish" To get a flawless finish😉 That's it for now!!
