This is the new, new, new, green crack. So the last two that I germinated, ended up having their roots I assume eaten, by fungus knats, springtails, or worms maybe, but now I finally have another greenie ready to take off, looking great so far.
Just gave her a chop a few days ago, seems to have recovered pretty well, has 4-5 taproots hit the media bed this week, I decided to go organic on this one, fish bone meal, kelp meal, and some gypsum, a layer of worm castings and a layer of mulch. So far so good!! 👍
Well she was looking great this week and I got a little over zealous with trying to train the branches down that I went just a little too far and partially broke one of the top branches 😢 but she’s got another 5 that all look beautiful. This is the first grow I’m trying 100% organic, so just big bloom (Omri) with every other watering, which is only a half liter every like 5 days with them drinking from the aquaponic system and the mulch preventing unwanted evaporation. And the nutrients I have listed are tsp/gallon of soil, and these baskets hold one gallon of soil
So this one didn’t do so well while I was gone the first time, I think I over watered the soil before going away figuring it would dry out while I was gone, but it was very humid after we left as there where hurricanes for a couple days, so the soil stayed a little too wet, and the fan leaves were clawing badly, but she’s dried out now and humidity has been a manageable level, and we are home to run the ac and whatnot, and just watch my girls closer lol, but the new growth since I went away the second time has been really nice, and green, nice trich development and she smells pretty strong now, not sure how I feel about it’s “scent” right now, I guess we’ll see
Well, the older growth has stopped decaying and the new buds look nice and green, and are fattening up nice. Like the white widow, I had to let this one dry up a little bit as I watered it too much before vacation and it was high humidity at the same time.
This one’s finishing up pretty quick, smells really stinky now, most of the leaves have turned yellow, trichomes are mostly cloudy with a few orange here and there. I’ll be harvesting sometime this week.
This one finished up pretty good, buds are nice and green and dense, not the biggest, but this one was super stinky, hopefully this one is better than the last, as the first one was kinda light and not so dense, these buds look way better!
