===== 10/1 Veg Week 6 Day 1 (53) ===== Had a bit of wrangling to do after being out of town for a few days. I might have flipped to bloom if all three plants in the tent were the size of ATF, but as it is I think I will go another week. I plan to do my first big defoliation session tomorrow, then let them recover before flipping next week. For today’s rez swap I switched to using HWG feed chart with the only difference being that I added 0.5ml/gal orca instead of the h2o2. My water stopped part way thru the rez swap for a bit so my meter didn’t get the count. I just used 40 gal as my estimate but in hindsight I probably should have used 35 or 36. Oops. I calculated the amounts of each nutrient I needed to add by making 1 gallon of veg juice, which measured 3550 PPM. I made an assumption that it would mix linearly and calculated I would need ~282% of the gallon for 40 gallons of water to reach the target 258 (which includes +8 from the water). I’m not entirely sure it will mix linearly but it made sense to me since it is parts-per-million. I will track the PPM reading of the next couple days to see how close I was. 40 gal water 🤷🏻 62 ml silica 113 ml micro 34 ml grow 45 ml bloom 56 ml diamond nectar 20 ml orca I’m not entirely sure I put diamond nectar in but I am not gonna worry about it since it is optional. I’ll try to be less exhausted next rez swap 🙂 Of the 4 clones I cut last week, 3 are starting to grow roots. I tossed the one who wasn’t. I did a swap of the nutrients in the cloning machine. I will try to remember to take pics of the roots tomorrow. ===== 10/2 Veg Week 6 Day 2 (54) ===== Lollipopped/defoliated ATF. One of the clones is growing nice roots. The other two still just have nubs. I’ll let ‘em keep on keepin’ on for now but I have a feeling I’ll just be planting the one. ===== 10/3 Veg Week 6 Day 3 (55) ===== Daily scrog maintenance: try to move tops to their own square. Tuck down fan leaves. ===== 10/4 Veg Week 6 Day 4 (56) ===== Some stretching and tucking. Added 1g epsom salt to a gallon of RO water and then added it to the system. The PH was drifting downwards so I added some PH UP. ===== 10/5 Veg Week 6 Day 5 (57) ===== Scrog maintenance and light defol removing the largest most annoying fan leaves so they don’t block nodes. ===== 10/6 Veg Week 6 Day 6 (58) ===== Scrog maintenance. Continued defoliation attempts, removing ugly leaves and anything that is blocking light to nodes. The two laggard clones were culled, leaving us just the one. I think I’m just going to try to grow her in the cloning machine and flip her there. Will see how it works out. ===== 10/7 Veg Week 6 Day 7 (59) ===== Scrog maintenance.

super thick stalks, you might not even need the scrog. It does make organizing things easier when its still stretching though,
