She is coming on well. I have stopped the calmag and grow part of the base. I have also reduced remaining base slightly as I have started the top shooter and it's quite hot. They state 1-2ml/l and at the lower end of 1 it adds about 400 ppm. Not sure if because of top shooter but I think she has thrown more white pistils out. I hope she doesn't foxtail. I've heard T.S. does this. Week six end. She is looking good. In a way she looks like she was ripening but , I suspect , due to the addition of top shooter she has gone back a week. House and garden do say that top shooter does kickstart a second wave of ripening. In effect they say this puts another layer on the flowers and the emergence of new white pistils shoes they could well be right! Who'd have thought?
