Dec 26th
- dinner tonight possibly, last nite the plants where almost mid-moisture, which was surprisingly quick with such a big meal a few days ago.
- start of week 14, my longest Flower yet...
- dinner can wait till tomorrow nite
27th
- worm casting tea with molasses is brewing
- bhadra / Sq Tail get 1.5L each, Congo gets watered to Run-off again. Tea pH will be adjusted to 6.4, again
- plants to be left until almost Dry this time. Water-only Feed is next-up, w/ Soil Amending. ~ 4 or 5 days. Last official amending…
28th pm, found that a Seed dropped by the Squirrel Tail, has Germinated in the Pot… She looks Healthy, its a Bonus
30th
- turns out there are 3 seedlings in the substrate, bloody Hilarious!
- picking available seeds from the Squirrel Tail and Congo tonight. Promotes Bud growth once the seeds r gone, so I’ve read
31st
- pulled 4 germinated seeds from the soil of the Squirrel Tail. Thats a New event for me, I’m not used to flowering for this Long and seeing this style of genetic Turnover
- tonight is a Food Nite for the Kids. Water feed w/ Soil Amendments
- added beach sand to the amendment, to aid in drainage
- Not the Congo, she is locked-up. Pulling no liquid from the soil. Flushed twice and she seems to be set in her ways.
Chop and Hang may be the next step for her
- Then its a Congo Seed harvest
- adding the UV-B (lizard-lite) light tonight, for the last 30min of the LED cycle. And the first 15min after the LED goes out.
Jan 1, 2024
- last day week 14 of Flower
- Squirrel Tail gets fed Water tonight; 2.5L
- Bhadra was fed last nite
- Congo is not taking-up much space, no Chop yet. Taking a Water-only approach with her/it. as Time is short
@420DeepGrow, yes and I’m jacked. Roots poking through the fabric had me sending the plants into the next phase. Up-Pot to 3/4 gal. Hope to keep the roots moving.
@Herbie101, growing two of the Bhadra now.
One short one tall, both female. Bonus!
Might have the same scenario with Squirrel Tail, 2 perfect but different, female plant structures… 5 may be 7
Real soon
@Lemonhazelover, Thanks Lhl. I’m jacked about the whole deal as well.
Just learning that its the middle-third of Flower, that equals Stretch, for these Heirlooms.
Something new!
@JamMAKEcan,
Thanks a bunch JMc… I am sticking with the Healthiest of each. Farming out the rest locally, male or female.
I’m still giddy seeing 9 blades on a 2.5 week old canopy leaf. Nothing but learning with this batch bro
hello mate, nice work!! very particulary strains, i notice the same strange growth in my S1 seed that i have in my room now, do you have experience with this type of seeds?
@GrowerOG,
That answer is very simple, spend a bit of time on Overgrow.com.
Multi-generation growers are securing and sharing hard to find Heirloom strains. There is So Much positive experience and knowledge being shared there. AND then after a few months, seed give aways are a daily thing. Top Shelf all the way Bro.
Send me a message, nothing but Positive things from there. And knowledge on beating white powdery mildew etc, never stops amazing me !
@1Right_Angle, I understand mate. I was curious because I saw some growth details of your plants in this diary in common with my ladie: like long branches and minor density of buds.
Where do you find these strains?
@1Right_Angle, In the photo where you write 'she appars to be making seeds', all the inside of the buds have a tipical colour and aspect of botrytis, i noticed it also in the other photos of that plant.
I hope to be wrong, anyway i think is worth not smoke the flower of that plant.
@GrowerOG, ok Thats a brand new one at this end GoG!
Thanks for the Heads-up, I’l be looking into it right now.
Can I ask what “You are Seeing?”
There are no moist pockets or goopy areas. The dry regions you see are from a dry period earlier this grow, that caused me to move the operation back home… Bud Rot I doubt, now that I’ve checked.
Its (squirrel tail) hanging, it will be hands-on shortly.
Plant being too wet or moist, never happened
