Well! What a week we had. The issues I ran into: P1 - I think I started her LST too soon because I had a few branches break on me. However, they didn't break all the way through and I was able to save the branches. P2 - I definitely put her through the ringer this week. She started off great, bushing up nicely and showing her indica traits, but then I got some light burn on her node 3 fan leaves. It was too far damaged by the time I figured out what it was, and I ended up having to remove those leaves. Today, while attempting some LST on the shoots above those fan leaves I took off, one of the branches snapped off, and since I know they're supposed to remain symmetrical I snipped the other branch as well. I'm not giving up on P2!!! She will still make it to harvest, just a bit slower maybe and not as lush as she could have been.
Week 3 summary... it's all a learning experience. I hope I don't lose any plants, but if I do, I hope I learn from my mistakes. What I'd do differently at this point right now: I would have waited longer to start any training at all. I probably should have waited until after this end of week 3 update to start training on them at all. It's all good though, this is how we learn! I would like to note... P2 no longer has any big fan leaves, just some new growth still trying to come in. I'll continue to monitor her health and hope that she recovers well. Once those top two branches are strong enough, I'll tie them down to start a manifold on her.
Don't forget, they don't count if they're autos. I forget some idiot told me that a long time ago lol. Him and some loser one armed guy, not worth even remembering his name, that you could do this brother you got this, and soon you will have an entire room dedicated for it! (Evil laugh)
