Auto Grapefruit Haze

05 Aug - She seems to be quite healthy. I've had some issues with stretching and leaning. I added more soil, a wire support and lowered the light down to 20 inches. We'll see what happens. 06 Aug - she seems to lean less without the support, however I'm not quite happy with the strength yet so it's going to stay for now. 07 Aug - I took the support away, time to let her strengthen up on her own. 08 Aug - I've gone from growing too fast to barely any change. Moved the light up to 22 inches, wondering if my first change was excessive. 08 Aug - update. I moved the light up and transplanted to her final pot. In just a matter of hours there is already signs of growth again. 11 Aug - She is happy and healthy

She's been growing slower than I expected, but for my first grow I'm just happy she is still alive. 13 Aug - First fan leave are coming in nicely. Slight curling at the edges and she prays by the end of the day. I'm assuming still too much light, but she doesn't seem to be in distress. 13 Aug update - Grow tent kit arrived, got a mars hydro 2x4 with a tsl2000. New learning curve tho, gotta see where the temp and humidity settle, and dialing in the light will be fun. Starting with 18" at 25%, we'll see what happens. 14 Aug - She seems to be doing quite well with the new set up. 15 Aug - Happy and healthy, she is about to explode with growth.

Last week had a very busy end, sorry about the lack of updates. She has really started to explode with growth! Over the last few days I have eased the light up to 50%. So far she seems to like it, but I'm going to hold here for a bit just to make sure. 19 Aug - Happy and healthy. Gave a light feed. 20 Aug - Happy and healthy. Deep water, going to let dry before the next. 21 Aug - She's very happy, definitely handling the light intensity well. 22 Aug - Light feed. Started LST, we'll see how it goes... I'm not sure I know what I'm doing. 23 Aug - She seems to be handling the LST well. Light is now at 60% and she is very happy. 24 Aug - Deep water today. Seems to be doing well with the changes, definitely benefiting from the new growth being exposed to the light better. 25 Aug - Overall happy, there's very slight curling up and very slight yellow edges/tips. I'm not sure if it's the feed a few days ago or light/heat burn. Adjusted the light back up to 18".

Going into this week she still looks a bit stressed, however since raising the light nothing has worsened. 26 Aug - I spotted the first couple of hairs, she seem to be getting ready to enter pre flower 01 Sept - I've been battling nutrient lockout for the last few days. I bought a ph meter instead of the test strips I was using. Water measured around 7.2 and a slurry with the soil measured around 4.8. I've upped the nutrients significantly (I'll update the mix above tomorrow) and I'm going to try and battle until the end. The roots are too far developed to transplant into another medium and she is getting ready to flower.

02 Sept - She seems to be holding strong since I started battling the PH. Definitely in pre flower. 04 Sept - This week seems to be going quite well. She is consistently growing taller and looks to be getting ready to produce buds 05 Sept - Overall she's very happy. Still stretching. 06 Sept - Happy Healthy 07 Sept - Definitely happy, grew another inch while I was at work

09 Sept - She is very happy and continuing to stretch. Started to feed with a bloom ratio, seems to be taking it well. 10 Sept - Happy and Healthy. Increased the light to 100% today. I will be watching close to see if she can handle it. 12 Sept - Happy and healthy. I ended up dropping the light back to about 90%, the leaves started cupping pretty good. Did some defoliation today, removed the lowest leaves that were shaded and just a couple uppers that were covering bud sites. 13 Sept - loving what I'm seeing. The stretching seems to be slowing down, only got a half inch when I was at work today, however the buds are growing and I see quite a bit of resin on the leaves now. 14 Sept - Not much to report today. I just had some B52 come in and added to the feed. She's happy and healthy. 15 Sept - Happy and healthy. Hasn't gained any more height, but the buds are developing nicely. Next week I plan on moving to the final bloom ratio for feedings.

16 Sept - Happy and healthy. She has a lot of bud sites now, just waiting for them to fatten up. Tomorrow I will be feeding at the final bloom ratio. 18 Sept - Not much to report, just happy and healthy! 19 Sept - Happy and healthy. Looking like I'm going to get a decent yield for how short she is. 20 Sept - Looking great, trichome product is really picking up! 22 Sept - Had signs of lockout start yesterday and had a visible salt ring in the soil. Flushed with ph'ed tap water with some cal-mag. As of today she is looking good, the burn hasn't gotten any worse.

23 Sept - Starting this week off I'm concerned by the discoloration on some fan leaves. I just calibrated my ph meter, fingers crossed that does the trick 24 Sept - Fan leaves haven't gotten any worse over night. I had a look at the trichomes and took some pictures, my hand isn't very steady so the focus isn't the best. She has a good mix of clear and milky trichomes so far. 25 Sept - Happy and healthy! 26 Sept - Not much to report, happy and healthy! 27 Sept - Happy and healthy! 28 Sept - She's looking good! Starting to get some orange hairs, I think the end is starting to get near. 29 Sept - Happy and healthy!

30 Sept - Orange hairs have been popping up, still waiting on some amber trichomes before I decide to flush. 01 Oct - I've got mixed signals from her. So many white hairs still, however starting to see the odd amber trichomes on the fan leaves. I'll be watching her closely, don't want to miss the window to flush her properly. 02 Oct - Happy and healthy! 03 Oct - Happy and Healthy! 04 Oct - Nothing to report, happy and healthy! 05 Oct - Nothing to report. 06 Oct - Happy and healthy. Fed today, planning one last more feed on Sunday before I start the flush.

07 Oct - Not much change, happy and healthy. I'll be giving her last feed tomorrow morning. Starting to flush on Tuesday. 08 Oct - Final feed this morning. 09 Oct - Nothing to report, Happy and healthy! 10 Oct - Flushed last night and this morning. Going to give her a day to dry out before flushing again. 11 Oct - The flush is definitely starting to take a toll on her. I think I'm going to flush again tomorrow and start the dark period, harvest this weekend. 12 Oct - Final water and light off this morning. She still looks good as of this afternoon.

14 Oct - Harvest Day! With everything we went through she seems to have turned out well. I know I harvested early, however she looks and smells good! After a wet trim I have 331g on the scale, curious how much she'll weigh dry. I will continue to update after the dry and after the cure.
