@JUNGLE_B4RNS, me either, some people swear by it. some say its bullshit. we shall see. it makes sense from a biological standpoint. worst case scenario my seedlings stay in the pop box longer, nbd.
Looks pretty good. @JUNGLE_B4RNS might be a bit right there. Next time you should run 4 bushy plants in there next time. Possibly maybe 8 small plants that you mainline. Regardless they look nice. Maybe you should pull those two down a bit and heavy stress train them. Flatten them down a bit to make the canopy wider so you can increase your yield. It'll be good either way. Just a though buddy. Keep it up.
@DabCrab,mid veg I moved from a smaller cabinet to the 4x4. Next round I'll probably start with 6 clones instead of seeds. I hate the first weeks of seeds. So slow.
They might need a little help standing up straight. I've gotten creative with pencils and zip ties before if that helps. Good luck! Interested to see what this strain looks like.
Same deal with the WW i grew, also from seedsman, one was way different like two distinct strains...
But they will give flowers that the important part! Cheers! ๐
Wow black domina you're really taking that to the max at 20 weeks mine was done a 9 and it locked me to the couch. Seems like a long time, are you looking for all Amber trichs?
Edited I see you vegd for 11weeks did it take that long for the preflowers to show? Mine showed hairs on 28days it was a different breeder...
@KilgoreTrout, not at all my friend. Photoperiod (NOT autoflower) plants will preflower when they are mature enough on any lighting cycle.. I was running 24/0 it showed hairs on day 28 veg then I switched to 12/12.
I understand if you have the room to grow a monster plant and that's what you like go for it. Did the plant grow in height during flower?
@PharmaZ, it's not an auto. It showed hairs three days after I flipped to 12/12. I think yours was an auto if it showed hairs without lighting changes.
The longer you veg the bigger your yield. I flipped when I felt the growth had slowed. IE it got as big as it could in my pots. If I wanted to get bigger I could have transplanted.
@JUNGLE_B4RNS,for sure. This round I moved from a much smaller cabinet to this 4 x4 tent. Just a matter of logistics. Next time I think I'll buy 6 clones and make a pvc scrog.
Wow bro, you move the cam too fast, we can't really appreciate all the beauty of your lady's.
The Black Domina is one of the few strain that has his own typical traits that you can recognize between a field of strains.
Did you notice how much more growth you are getting under that center light? Almost twice as much height over the LEDs on the sides. What were you using?
@AbroCadabro, actually no. I rotate the plants 1/4 turn daily. It's just different phenotype. Plus main vs side colas. Normally I wouldn't rotate but I have the room right now as I switched from a 1x2 tent to a 4x4 mid grow. Next round will be at least 5 plants.
The center light is a 400w hps/mh
The sides are cheap mars hydros.
I use a similar nutrient schedule to you. I was interested to see you feeding your plants 13/14 at beginning of the flower stage. I am about to use Humbolt nutrients Big Up, 33/23 to speed the transition from veg to flower. It seems upping the PK, in addition to adjusting your base nutes, is a great way to boost your plants.
Your garden is looking great.
@Mr_Positivo,yeah I've read a few times a bit of a p/k boost the first week of flower can give them a faster and/or head start. I will say I saw my first pistils within 3 days which I thought was super quick. Previous to that and not using the p/k it seemed more like a week. So I really think it helped.
I usually wait about a week or two into 12/12 before I start flower nutes. It's going to want to use a bit of nitrogen which is in the veg food.
Best of luck and you are doing great!
Hello
Stay on your Veg nutrients for another 2-3 weeks, they're gonna start to stretch and they need Nitrogen to support that stretch . You can start Bloom nootz in week 3-4 of flowering cycle.
You start P-K Boost in week 3-4 of flowering cycle, when your flowers start to grow .
