Cannabis Grow Diary - Week 2 of Vegetation: A Promising Start Greetings fellow cannabis enthusiasts! Welcome back to my cannabis grow diary, where we embark on a journey of nurturing and cultivating these green beauties. We're now in week 2 of the vegetative phase, and there's plenty to report on. First Nutrient Feeding: This week marked a milestone as I introduced nutrients to my growing cannabis plants for the first time. I followed the recommended dosage of 1 ml per liter of water. It's always a bit nerve-wracking when you first start feeding your plants, but I can already see them responding positively. Mastering Water Management: As any seasoned grower knows, proper water management is key. I've been diligently monitoring the soil moisture and sticking to a simple rule: water when the top inch of soil feels dry. This ensures they stay well-hydrated without risking overwatering. Topping for Enhanced Growth: Following these photos, I performed a crucial step in the care of my cannabis plants - I topped them. Topping involves removing the uppermost growth tip of the plant, encouraging the development of more lateral branches. This will ultimately result in a bushier and more productive plant. It takes a bit of courage to snip away those tender shoots, but the potential benefits make it worthwhile. It's truly exciting to witness the progress of my cannabis plants during this vegetative phase.
