So this is a interesting one if you like experiments..... I started this one with intentions to up pot into something bigger but got busy and the delay allowed algae to form through the clear body eventually turning to root rot or some kind of lockout of nutrients and the plant suffered pretty bad for awhile. Instead of scrapping it I shook all the dirt off the roots and cut 90% of the roots off. I then threw it into my aeroponic setup and let it do its thing for a few weeks. Sure enough it bounced right back...check out next weeks update.

Here is week 5-7 as you can see it has mad a full recovery and I am getting ready to flip it to 12/12 in a week or so.
Well this one has bounced back nicely. I am happy with the level canopy, number of tops, and the size of the plant so I switched it to 12/12 a few days ago. The growth is exploding right now so I am excited to see what flower brings.
Loving the growth on this girl. Growing fast and strong. I switched to 12/12 about a week ago. Should start seeing some good pistil formation starting later this week. Ready to see what kind of flowers this baby produces
Another week down with this Gush Mints from Expert Seeds and I could not be happier. The plant is vigorous and robust just like my other grows from Expert seeds. Still just feeding this one a combination of general hydro micro and maxibloom with the occasional mag sulfate. Plant has showed zero deficiencies since placing it in my hydro setup. Ready to see some nice big nugs!
Shes big thick and juicy 😍 Trichomes and smell starting to really develop. Bud sites are expanding day by day. Cant freaking wait for this one to finish. I will be training her down and spreading her out very soon. She will have this 4x4 tent to herself. Growing fast and strong since the changes i made early on.
What a plant... just keeps chugging along like a freight chain. Shes big, robust, and very smelly. Up to about 700 ppms now and dont think ive reached its sweet spot yet.
**Update- When I changed the reservoir this week I forgot to plug the pump back in for 24 hours. I came back and the fan leaves were hanging straight down. I have noticed some adverse effects from roots suspended in air for 24 hours with no h20... A lot of the smaller, fine roots didn't make it and some of the top sugar leaves looked to have been burned by the light while wilting and many of the fan leaves have turned a few shades lighter than the deep green they were before the drought stress. OOOPS... atleast i noticed before more severe and irreversible damage occured.
Another week in the books with this Gush Mints from Expert Seeds. Had a slight issue that was 100% my fault. Did a water change and forgot to plug the pump back in and when I came back 24 hours later the plant was wilting pretty hard and some the top leaves got burnt to a crisp but very minor damage thankfully! Still looking good, smelling good, and growing good so all's good until next week. 4-5 more weeks to go!
Plugging right along entering the fifth week of flower. Flowers starting to put on size, shooting out their second flush of pistols. A lot of the trichomes are already cloudy but im taking this thing at the least to eight weeks. Added some overdrive (1-5-4) to give some liquid nutes.. Smells amazing very much like some gushers at the moment.
Looking mighty fine entering its six week of flower. This strain is fire. Smells sooo good very much like gushers with a kick. This strain is advertised to test at 30% thc and up and I can see why. Very frosty! Buds are rock hard dense and very large at this point. Prob my last week of full flower nutes then ill back it down week 7 and flush week 8 if all goes to plan.
Did a little defoliation to expose more of this gorgeous plant.
Still going nicely with this one. Feeding has slowed and am now down to 500 ppm. Will be flushing prob to start next week. Smell is strong and overpowering my carbon filter. Very dense heavy flowers covered in resin.
Grew like a champ. Showed no deficiencies using basic nutes. Very potent. strong smell. Night time smoke for sure. Knocks your right out. Good for sleep
So I was pretty fortunate and noticed some bud rot starting to form on a tester nug that I was planning to dry a few days before actual harvest. Once I saw the rot I chopped it down immediately and broke down each nug individually looking for more rot. Luckily, there wasnt much more bud rot. Prob lost 2-5% in total to rot. That being said if you are planning to grow this strain be careful of this because these nugs get very large and very dense. I thought I spread her out enough and had enough airflow to avoid this but I guess not. Nonetheless I am very happy with this grow and harvest and would grow this strain again 100%.
