11/09/23 Germination started. Seed placed into wet paper towel, cup, and kept inside dark warm cupboard.
13/09/23 Tap root came out after around 24 hours, then placed into a biodegradable cup with substrate, then back into the cupboard.
DAY 1 - 15/9/23 seedling is now out. she's up and going 🌱
She's stretching out really quick. Im excited to grow this classic!!!🌳

Day 7 - 21/09/23
🌳 OG Kush is growing well. a nice healthy shade of green, and a decent height too.
although the first leaves are a little odd looking to me. maybe its a phenotype thing? 🤔
Day 10 - 24/09/23
ok so i saw this growth on my OG Kush, which was not there last night...
mold? mycelium? what the hell is this?
65W LED hanging at 14" running at 80%, 18/6 light schedule.
Just using water to keep substrate around seedling hydrated. roughly using around 200ml every 24hrs.
Day 14 - 28/09/23
OG Kush is growing alright, but still has a very strange looking leaf structure.
That fluffy white stuff(mold?) on the substrate from Day 10 is starting to reappear again, although not as prominent.
slow and steady progress is still progress 🌳
Day 20 - 04/10/23
She's taken a much more familiar look! She's quite bushy and short in comparison to the others too.
I want to get her more vertical before I try some LST.
07/10/23 - she's finally tall enough to bend over!! praying for similar results to the Fat Banana!!
Day 27 - 11/10/23
My ugly seedling is having s real nice glow up!! OG is responding very well to the LST, much like the fat banana.
Day 29 - 13/10/23 Did some light defoliation to get rid of the bigger lower fan leaves.
Pistils have started to come out too, which means we're looking to be on time for 10 week harvest!!
Day 32 - 16/10/23
She bounced back from defoliation very well!! vigorous and green!!!
although, yellow leaves are starting to show. same problem with Fat Banana and Strawberry Pie, although not as wide spread and far gone...
Day 35 - 19/10/23
Leaves have started to yellow and crips like the other 3 plants so i decided to do a flush and trim on the OG kush.
will it work? we'll have to wait and see.
Measured the runoff from this pot pH 6.2 and PPM of 600. 😮💨
Day 41 - 25/10/23
OG Kush is in flower! the flush and trim also helped her out. and just like the Fat Banana, im gonna keep it CalMag and water only.
LST did her some good, i love how it's turning out!!
Day 48 - 2/11/23
OG kush is coming along well! gave her 2/3 dose of nutes for week 7 following the Biobizz feed chart as she started to show some signs of deficiency.
CalMag still mandatory.
she's going nicely too, healthy bud sites so far!!

Buds are forming and it looks like they're purple!!
Day 55 - 08/11/23
OG Kush is looking good and healthy today. Taking the upped nutes very well!! 1100PPM might push to 1250 near the end of the week.
Nugs are forming nicely, and the colour is beautiful too!!! She's a stinky plant, dominates the tent with her pungent stench!!!
I've moved her and the Fat Banana under the SF1000, still keeping it 18 inches above.
Looking forward to the next couple of weeks. Let's see how these nugs develop!!
Day 63 - 16/11/23
Ok, so she's taking a while to mature. Probably a week and a half behind the Fat Banana.
Not much real change in appearance from last week, but she's definitely more frosty!!
I've decided to remove all anchors, did a little defoliation and let her take her form.
PPM upped to 1300.
Gonna keep feeding her for another 2 weeks, then a nice flush.
we'll see how she goes!!
Day 68 - 21/11/23
OG Kush is doing her thing nicely!
Trichomes are looking 50% cloudy with some amber domes peaking.
She's showing me a bunch of different colours!! every other nug has a different look, different hue!
Once the medium dries up a little more, Im gonna start the flush.
it's a waiting game now

A lot more cloudy trichomes today. OG Kush was flushed until substantial runoff.
We're getting close!
Day 76 - 29/11/23
OG Kush has a bit more of a fade after flushing 7 days ago.
Bud sizes have not changed, but trichomes definitely have!
More cloudy than clear this week! More amber head too!!
I flushed her with an extra 2L of water on 27/11/23. Nice fade going on with all the leaves!!
Im making sure all trichomes are nice and ready before the chop. until then, ill just be adding 2-300ml of water just to stop her from wilting.

Og Kush had a smooth grow!
Same problem with Fat Banana, she was stunted due to nute lock and 2 weeks of recovery.
a small mould problem on the medium in the beginning, but that was overcome quickly.
No mould, no mildew, no pests!
What an absolute experience growing this plant!!
She didn't get to be the biggest as I gave her unnecessary stress in her early week. I forgot that I treated the medium before planting, and I watered with normal values.
This causes nutrient lockout which took 2 weeks to correct, which then stunted her growth.
Once that was fixed, she flourished really well!! she showed beautiful colour on the buds!! pinks, greens, browns, and buds turning purple nearer to the harvest!!
She took very big feeds, and tolerated high nutrients in flowering stage!!
No mould except for the coco in week 1-2. No pests, no mildew. what a plant!!!
I feel like 23 c is too cool and try to get my temps to 27 but I'm not sure if that is the popular opinion. Do you have a small heater and how far is the light to the plant?
@KingAxle, thanks for the input bud! ive made some adjustments as its about to get cold here again, got the lung room at 26C and ive got warm air feeding into the tent, which is also now at 26C. i can run like that for the next few days i think, see how it goes!

If the light is only 80w and the temps are cool then bringing the light closer might promote faster growth and bring them heat. Always trying to do more with less to get those gram to watt ratios over 1 gram.
@KingAxle, hey man! temps have been fluctuating as its recently been quite cold and wet where I am. I've got the lights 16" above the girls. funny enough, I specifically picked these beans because its stated that they prefer the cooler climates 😂
I was getting fluffy white stuff on the side of my grow bags when I was using a myco product. Not quite mycelium or mold. Fluffy is a good description. Wasn't a mold for my grows.
@KingAxle, someone said it might be from the peat cups ive been using. find it odd as it's not on any of the other plants 🤔
i took the initial bits off and it hasn't grown back so maybe it was a one off? we'll have to wait and see
