BLOOM WEEK 5 (Dec 27-Jan 2)
-------------------------------------------------
___________

________________________
Dec 28 (2L in AM/4L PM)
• 1.1 EC / 6.1 pH (AM)
• Silica + CaMg only
• 2.3 EC / 6.2 pH (PM)
Things look good and smell good. There's a deep red tint in a lot of the flower (see slide 6). It's not that frosty yet, but I have to remember it's only day 30. A lot of big colas already, been a while since I had production like this so early.

OUT: 3.3 EC/5.8 pH (20c)
Runoffs are ok...only a few more days until I flush with PK 14/15. There's signs of a phosphorus deficiency with pink/purple petioles, bronze spots and leaf tips, crispy, necrotic lower leaves. New growth is looking a little lighter than it should be too. The petioles might just be genetic but when I see other symptoms attached, I'm leaning towards a deficiency.
The next few weeks are crucial to gain mass so the last thing we want to see is a lack of P or K. Potassium (K) will soon be the dominant nutrient and it relies partly on phosphorus for uptake. I'll probably start watering less to keep oxygen levels higher in the root zone to help keep P mobile.
_____________
Dec 31 (4L)
Mix: 20ml CaMg, 20ml Silica: 5 gallons water
• 1.4 EC / 5.9 pH IN

Jan 1 (2L)

OUT: 1.7 EC/6.1 pH (21c)
BD5 IN: 1.0 EC/5.9 pH (19c)
OUT: 1.6 EC/5.9 pH (22c)
KT5 IN: 1.0 EC/5.9 pH (19c)
OUT: 1.7 EC/5.8 pH (22c)

10P7 IN: 1.0 EC/5.9 pH (19c)
OUT: 1.5 EC/5.9 pH (20c)
Got a good flush done to set these girls up for the next 2 weeks. Just CaMg and PK Spike. This should handle any P deficiencies and allow them to start using stored nitrogen. My leaves seem to always be green until the end and that probably means too much N.

Had to tie up some branches on BD5 as they were starting to topple over. Nice to see some good production out of this strain. Last time it was the best smelling and tasting in the room, but the lowest yielder.
There's some big colas on BD5 and 10P7, beer can size. Happy to have cuts of both. The KT still has small buds but all white pistils and appears to be starting it's stacking phase. It's crazy frosty and looks like a 9-10 week finish. May let them all go 63-70 days depending on trichomes. Not looking for a ton of amber, just don't want any clear.
There's some yellow leaf tips that appeared after the last mini flush (and days of water in a row), so this is a sign of overwatering. Making more sense looking at past notes. Previous diaries where I would water VERY frequently (but underfertilizing) I'd see leaf tips yellowing and back off the EC. That's a mistake. We're not doing that again. Allowing the substrate to dry out more frequently has built up a tolerance for high EC.
Next week I'll be feeding around 2.2-2.4 EC. This isn't even full strength according to Advanced Nutrients bottle directions. They ask for 4ml a litre and I'm between 2-3ml/L. Shouldn't be worried about overfeeding, I should almost be increasing the EC closer to 3. My runoffs have been fairly consistently over 3 and as high as 5.8.
You planted awesome genetics for real!!
GHSC and Ethos are the bests seedbanks
If you want to support, take a look to our new diaries and if you like them remember to like, comment and follow us 👍 It will be appreciated! ❤️

@gottagrowsometime, Thank you man. I had a great pheno out of 3 KTs last round...sadly didn't take any cuts. I don't think I got it this time because the keeper grew taller than these. Been running Ethos mostly for the last few grows and they've been impressive. Highly recommend
See the game last night, kicked some Boston butt all over the ice😀. Good goal tending and some hungry players, go # 13, GO JETS GO!!!! Going all the way this year!!!! UNSTOPPABLE!!
Plants look great 👌, should have some good herb in a few weeks. Finally got two coats of paint in the basement, suspended ceiling goes up next, then flooring and I'll be able to set-up my tent. Had to make a trip to the pot store, first time in a long time that I had to buy some herb, it's not the same, not even close 😑... GOTTA GROW!!!!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family.
@Louder, Variety is the spice of life they say, so we'll mix it up a bit and see what happens, Lambs breath and Orange cake for sure, we'll see about the others when the time comes. Can't Wait!!
@Louder, Wheeler must be wondering WTF happened to this team😵, someone lit their JETS!! Let's hope they can keep it up..
Ordered a bunch of auto's from the Crop King, started my first grow with the King so I thought I'd try agin, plus they had a two for one sale so I loaded up. I have some Lamb's Breath, close to being my favourite and some new strains, Acapulco Gold, Hippie Crippler, Orange cake and I got a freebie package of 5 seeds, Kryptonite auto from Rocket seeds. There all sativa dominant strains except the Orange cake which is an Indica dominant strain that's supposed to grow big, sugar coated buds with a very citrus flavour and smell, so we'll see. I should be posting soon, just have to figure out which ones I grow first, TOUGH CHOICE😏, Lamb's Breath for sure!!
Smok'em if you got'em!!
@FrontRowAG_BrianG, should be a sight to see come January. Predicting a ton of purple. I've got pics of all of them in past diaries if you literally can't wait 😆
@RoidBlaze, I know it looks alarming, and that could be part of it, but the other 5/6 plants are thriving. It's just the one King's Tart and they all get the same treatment.
She's the closest to the fresh air intake (which is cold) and the oscillating fan so maybe it's that.
I'm going to flush anyway but I've had runoffs that error out the meter before with no hermies.
