Fuuuuck....#2 is just a beast. I had to super crop a branch last week, this week i did the "swazzing"(i think thats right) technique on the others and pulled them away from the light as much as i could.
#1 is incredible as well. Nice strong, solid structure and both plants have really nice trichome coverage.
#1 smells like it will lean more towards Grape Gas side.
#2 smells like it will lean more towards Marshmallow OG.
Gonna be hard to choose a keeper.
@XII_XII_MrGreen, thank you, truly. I would have started these diaries from seed but with the others, thats too much at once.
I also have Ice Pie x raspberry boogie(Tiki/mosca collab) and old growth og from humboldt at around 5 weeks. But my next, next project is to male hunt Koffee F8 by Green Source Gardens and Clover Shake by Bulletproof Genetics follwed swiftly by square one genetics and robin hood seed small batch pheno hunt/breeding project. I have a lot of breeding ideas and its time to make them happen. Someday be able to present a strain i grew/created to the cannabis cup. Dream big!!!
These plants look 🔥! Congratulations on your success, thus far.
I did have a question about your experience with Compund Genetics seeds, though... I recently bought a 5-pack of Gastro Pop and the two seeds I attempted to germinate both failed to thrive. Maybe I'm just unlucky and got a few duds - needless to say that I expected a bit more out of seeds that cost ~ $30.00 each!
Anyway, your grow looks dope. Any insight you can share would be appreciated. Happy Growing!
@FarmerJon, thank you for the kind words. As far as germination goes, i still have problems sometimes. By no means an expert. I used to put them directly in soil but i had mixed results. Now its just paper towel method, however i do not seal them in a plastic bag. I use a heat mat depending on outdoor enviornment. Cold or Hot. Ive cooked a few seeds so be careful. It does suck a lot to lose seeds that you paid so much for. Personally i have had worse germination rates with greenhouse seed company then any other. But most of the time its me that ends up killing the seedling after germination. Theyre so damn sensitive. Good luck on your journey.
