Super excited to running Cherry Alien, "a powerful indica autoflowering strain created from Cherry Pie and the THC dominant Alien Technology", kindly provided by @originalsensible.
It took a while to get this one going. The original seed I popped germinated fine, but had quite a long tail when I transferred it to a pete plug, and, consequently, the tap root took a u turn and started growing up out of the plug and the seedling never really took hold. In any event, my second attempt was successful.
Soaked the seed overnight and then transferred it to a dampened paper towel placed inside ziplock bag. Baggy was placed on germination mat set at 75F inside darkened tent. Seed cracked and nice little tail appeared within 48 hours. Seed was transferred to a pete pellet and set to sprout in the germination tray. Sprouted the next day. Once the roots grew through the pete pellet 5 days later, I transplanted the seedling into a net pot and moved to her 5-gallon bucket.

The Cherry Alien is growing well. Roots have broken through the net pot and she’s starting to size up.
Rez change likely in a few days. She’s just started sipping on her drink (a light cocktail of Remo nutes), so no rush.
She’ll get a FIM in the next week or so before she goes into flower.

The Cherry Alien is coming along.
I FIMed her and she’s recovered nicely, developing a nice round shape.
Shouldn’t be long until she flowers and starts her stretch. Hopefully, the Jungle Lava growing next to her leaves her some room to spread her wings 🤞

The Cherry Alien has entered flower and starting to fill out.
I've moved her into my small 30" x 30" tent where she'll have a little more room to spread her wings as she had limited space in my other tent growing next that space hog, Jungle Lava 😉 Unfortunately, this small tent is just over 5' tall so I'll likely ScrOG her and smoosh those branches down to control her height.
As a consequence of this move I've had to deploy my dinky 2 watt air pump to provide the bubbles in her bucket. While not unleashing the usual tempest I'm used to seeing, there seems to be enough action to keep things growing and her roots looking healthy. I'll be keeping a close eye on things.

The Cherry Alien is coming along very nicely as she's just finished week 2 of flower.
I put the ScroG net in almost a week ago and gave her the old pancake treatment. She's bounced back really well and is filling out the tent.
She's being eating and drinking very well. EC has been running between .8 - 1 and PH has been between 5.9 - 6.4 through the week.

The Cherry Alien is doing very well for the most part.
The heat and light in this little tent were getting a bit much for her as I noticed some of the upper leaves starting to canoe. I raised the light as high as I could and she's got some relief now.
She's filled the ScrOG nicely and hasn't stretched too much which is great. I super cropped one of the taller branches near the front of the tent, other than that everything is pretty even.
She's feeding and drinking well, about 2 litres/day.
Bud sites galore. Looking forward to the fattening.

The Cherry Alien is blasting along. This plant is reputed to be done in about 65 days and she certainly seems intent on finishing close to that timeline.
Buds are getting plumper everyday with some pistils already starting to turn red. She's getting more fragrant too; fruity and sour.
This baby has been fun to watch. Looking forward to the finish.

Buds are getting fatter and very frosty and pistils are turning fiery red. Tent smells sour and dank.
She's feeding good; slowing down a bit. EC is around 1.5 and PH has been running between 5.8 - 6.3.
Just a couple of more weeks to go.

We're nearing the end for the Cherry Alien Auto and she's just starting her fade.
She's not so hungry anymore, and her EC has settled in around 1.1 > 1.2. She's been getting water only top-ups the past few days.
Buds are sweet and pungent and getting more plump and frosty. I had a quick look at the trichs and things are looking mostly cloudy but there is still some ripening to do; a little while until harvest yet. Looking forward to it!

The Cherry Alien Auto was harvested at the end of week 9 and I hung the whole plant to dry.
She grew very enthusiastically without any issues and her buds smell sweet and delicious.
