@Tweak, I never water twice a day but usually I water until I got a good runoff to prevent salt buildup in the coco and to ensure a full refresh of the medium. ๐ง๐ฑ
@Stick, I find the perlite helps with nutrient buildup in the coco, I use a airpot with 50/50 mix coco and perlite. Just find that sometimes in warm weather I have to water 2x a day
@petermoca, Thanks! Well, you should really wait for node nยฐ5 before topping at node nยฐ3, this will speed up the recovery process and the new growth for the 2 first main stalks. Quite the same for the next topping surgeries, wait for the plant to develop 2-3 nodes above the node you want to top. The canopy-ring definitely helped me in managing the LST, I highly recommend to buy or build something similar. I think that transplanting 3 times also helped in building a strong root system. Select your strain, you don't want to many side growth, you need a strong genetic with symmetrical nodes, some strains don't like to be bent, others are sensitive to scissor cuts... For every run I recommend to proceed to seedling selection (see the first weeks of my diaries). I'd be happy to follow your experience, and I remain available if you need further information. Happy growing! ๐
Gorgeous plant. You did an amazing job with getting this plant to take the shape you wanted. The amount and quality of the bud looks beautiful and u should be very proud of yourself! ๐
Just as suspected, flowers stacked on flowers ๐
You grew 15 yrs ago?! You've got me beat even I'm going on 10 ๐ , not that my growing reflects it ๐๐
When I first saw the last photo of this week I could barely make out the black lighter in the jungle of nugs ๐๐
Cool insight on the "cold morning" I've read and heard ALOT and never heard read or put this together myself. Very cool thanks for sharing.
PS my grow is very cold and most of my plants are very tightly noded. Coincidence? I'll have to explore this subject more!
