Hello ! So as your soil is a pre-fertilized soil you will not have to use nutrients until the end of week 3 , however you can start using nutrients for roots such as rhizotonic or enzymes right now on the 1st week to settle some benefical bacteria in your soil . Then you will probably need to use a Grow/veg nutrient ( a couple time ) to help her during the late veg and the 2 first week of flowering then you need to switch to a bloom/flowering nutrient and maybe some Pk booster and taste enhancer if you think it is necessary. Now concerning your Co2 generator I think you can use it cauz Co2 will remain the same molecule but the Co2 need to be controle so check it and make a little math to know if the generator can be set up to automatically power on or off when CO2 levels reach a specific ppm (higher than 2000ppm will kill your plant) , and you have to know that Co2 is more efficient with high temps like 30/32 °C. I hope it will help you 😁👍

paparazzi Found that pH level of soils is about 7,8-8ph. It is quite too much, that's why watering soil with ph 5.9 to neutralize it for 6.3 - 6.8. I think that this is the real reason why leaf are so curvy. hope ph 5.9 Helps. Just begin to using nutrients. About 450 ppm with nutrient, mostly because of N.

Dears,my plant is growing in very compact way. Leafs are very close to each other. It is 5th week already, i want to move it to flowering stage, but it is too short.I served 100w 3500k LEDs for flowering. Can i turn light to 12/12 with 180w and attach 100w at 3rd week of flowering?

Your plant is doing fine , you will see that during the flower stage your plant will gain a little height with a lot of mass. As for your light situation i would likely go and get more lights because in flower more light exposure = more and bigger flowers . You can make due with what you have now but from what you describe its not enough . You will run into a few problems if you dont have enough light for flowering one of the problems is that the development of the bud sites and the buds themselves will be slower , the buds wont be as tight they will be more airy and you may not get as much of a yield . That's not to say you can't still do it with what you have now cause you can it will just affect your yield big time . If your on a budget or not that interested in spending big $$$$ there is cheap alternatives to get the job , the cheapest way would be to get a digital ballast from amazon or w.e they sell kits with the lights for like 50 $ or you can get T5 super output lamps to combine with what you already have for like 30$ a piece there is lots of option's to choose from but its all in what you wanna do with it ! I hope this information has helped on your journey to becoming a grow master ! <3 -Happy Growing!

paparazzi 38 Day- Added 80 WATT 6400k fluorescent lamp. It seems that 180 WATT of my growing leds(380-780nm) does not give enough light (may be blue specter 440nm is too low ). Growing is very slow, plant is too compact to put her to flowering stage. Feeding her once in 3 days, with 1ml nutrients to 1 liter (0.2 liter to plant) ph ~ 6.3 - 6.7. Just inspected that some stems are getting purple, this is a sign of abnormal pH level. It seems that soils ph is to high. Hope it will normalizes in couple of weeks with watering with normal ph

Hi @paparazzi! Avoid any kind of stress after the 2nd week of flowering, you don't want the plant to drive its energy into recovering, you want her to give everything she got into bud fattening & resin production. Indeed your plant looks small, but at this stage there's not much you can do, LST (or any other technique) won't help you to get more nodes, this should have been done earlier. Hope that makes sense, keep us up-to-date and happy growing 👊

your plant looks a bit overwatered. Be careful, overwatering can harm more than under watering. Good luck with the grow!

@NewbieMJ00, Thanks for your comment. I have two problems right now: hight pH level of soil and 20 liter pot. I should have used a smaller volume for first 3 weeks. It is hard to control watering right now. Trying to give water once in two days. Hope that will help.
NewbieMJ00
NewbieMJ00 commented7y ago
@paparazzi, When i started i had overwatering problems too. Just keep the plant without water for more days until you find out the perfect amount it needs. I advise you to water once every 10 days to dry it out a bit and then adjust from that, watering really depends on relative humidity and plant's growing stage, i personally just water when the plant is starting to wilt a little bit. The pot is really big now but will become just enough once the plant grows so don't worry. High PH isn't a problem until the plant starts craving for nutrients, i would not worry about that right now. If you see some deficiencies starting i advise you to flush the dirt once and for all with at least 40l of 6.3 pH water (no nutrients, or maybe quarter strenght); that will adjust the pH once and for all overwatering the plant only once. Deficiencies that may occur at high PH are caused by the lack of Iron, Phosphorous, Magnesium, Copper or Zinc. Keep an eye out for those. Good luck!

@NewbieMJ00, Many thanks for your suggestions. They are very useful. I had stopped watering. 48 hours passed without watering, and you can see in day 23 photo that she seems more healthy than she was day ago.

@paparazzi, Your plant looks really more healthy now. I agree with NewbieMJ00. Just keep on not giving her water for a while and then just a bit little, 0,10 lt /day for example and see what happens. Sorry for your Ph troubles. Your plant, due to these troubles , is still little after 4 weeks , but it seems to me to see some signs of pre-flowering from the pictures. If so, try to decrease lamp distance to 20 cms instead of 25 to boost light and be ready to give her both lights , veg & bloom , at 100 % power and don't worry, because these plants are really able to grow more than 100 % of their height and width in one week if everything's ok. Good luck !

paparazzi commented7y ago
@GrassNaples, i think overwatering and high pH levels is reason why plant grows in very compact way. I am very afraid of pre-flowering at this stage. Very strange, because it is not autoflower ( Hope that is just leafs. I will try to add more lamps , i had some fluorescent lamp from previous grow (~120watt 6000k x 4 ) i will add one of them if nothing changes for next two days. Thanks for your comments!
GrassNaples
GrassNaples commented7y ago
@paparazzi, I agree , it's early for a not-autoflowering strain , especially if you have not yet passed to a 12/12 light cycle yet because, as you konw, a not-autoflowering plant needs 12 hrs darkness for start flowering. But it could be due to a stress factor for the plant. She could react to the stress for high Ph and over-watering by flowering. Be careful next days to well observe if really are pre-flowers or not (hope not) . The same, be careful if you want to add another lamp fluorescent and not led technology because of the heating that a fluorescent could emanate. Maybe another 180w Led light is better. ciao Bro !

paparazzi commented7y ago
@GrassNaples,just looked at leafs closer, it seems that it is only leafs. I can't understand why all leafs are so close to each other. I bought this seeds as compact plant, but not so much. There are lots of branch everywhere under leafs. I wanted to LST it to pot center and make something like banzai tree. just waiting what will happen (photo taken at night period, thats why leafs are so curvy, under lights they are seems to be normal)
GrassNaples
GrassNaples commented7y ago
@paparazzi, it could be really a own feature of the strain you're using. I got the same trouble with a feminized not-automatic " Fruit " strain outdoor (no diary of mine for that) which is so bushy that really i don't know how she can bloom in the future and when, since sunlight do not penetrate through the leaves ... more than a LST technique , maybe you should need for some defoliating technique but , unfo, i'm not experienced about it, otherwise I'd used it with for my plant (ah-ah-ah) . Maybe some other bro reading this conversation may help. ciao !
paparazzi
paparazzi commented7y ago
@GrassNaples, I remember, when i bought them, i told to guy to give me compact plant. Since my box is very small ) May be it is really some kind of feature. I think i need stop stressing plant with LST. May be LST, overwatering, hight PH made her very stressful. So i am going to give her rest for one week. See what happens ))

GrassNaples commented7y ago
@paparazzi, noted, it seems to be a strain which grows small and bushy, with short branches and very close leaves. See that your colleague of growing mantained a very short distance between plant and lamp, only 15 cm , because of the fact that light has difficulties to penetrate leaves. ciao !
