thevalar007 Seed started in rapid rooter, then transferred to 16 oz dixie with promix and 20% worm castings. Fed with 50 ml of h20 and 1 mil liquid seaweed.
thevalar007 She's doing well, it's a pretty resilient strain in veg. Meaning in my grow she doesn't have the nest spot in the tent, she's in the back corner, but still performing well. Used General Hydroponics Trio to feed, favoring bloom nutrients. Also used TPS Signal, Recharge, and TPS CalMag.

thevalar007 Grew about 2" in a week. The SCROG didn't take as well as a more experienced grower's would, but learned a lot about the process and how much LST helps. I feel it's important to understand how growth occurs in veg, as well as how important it is to plan for the stretch.

thevalar007 Just water and dolomite lime this week. Saw early signs of cal/mag deficiency, or low soil ph. This should boost it right up. Top dressed with 5 TBS of dolomite and watered heavily.
thevalar007 General Hydroponics

Sorry about the pics- i have a few other strains in the same tent and it's tricky to get isolated shots of each plant.

thevalar007 This Apple Betty smells amazing, and that's in a tent with 5 other strains. Aside from some underfeeding on my part, which I brewed a tea to help counter below, this has been easy and manageable for me as a new grower. This is part of my 1st fem-photo indoor grow, and was a great strain to learn on due to it's resilience. It was easy to grow and I may just get a great quality end-product in the process. Some of my other plants in this same environment and feed schedule are not performing anywhere near as well as the Herbies Apple Betty.
Brewed a tea, aerated for 24 hours before feeding.
per gal of water/ 6.5 ph / .5 gal per plant
Molasses - 1 tbs
fish shit - 5 mil
recharge - 1.5 tbs (meant to use tsp)
mycorrhizae - 1.5 tbs (meant to use tsp)
liquid seaweed - 10 mil
worm castings - 8 tbs
gai green bloom - 6 tbs / 100 ml

thevalar007 Apple Betty by Herbies in about week 8 of flower. I'm close, but need a week or 2. Buds could be denser at this stage, but as part of my 1st indoor photo grow, I learned a shit ton. Smells great!

thevalar007 WK 9 of flower. Fed with 3/4 gallon of feed water. 1st photo grow, learning a lot.
This thing smells awesome. I don't usually go for this terpene profile, but I'm glad I did.
Having grown in both plastic and fabric pots, I think I prefer the fabric joints.

thevalar007 Just plain ph balance water........ any day now.
I popped 1 seed of Herbies Apple Betty in a rapid rooter. 142 days later here we are. The long flower time was definitely influenced by my environmental conditions, and a deficiency that I was able to fix. The fact that she withstood that and produced some nice looking buds with heavy aroma was impressive. I can't wait to grow again indoors and really push her to the max. Great genetics in my opinion as I did not experience any type of issues, herm, diseases, etc.

thevalar007 Felt great to harvest! I ended up with a little more amber than I would have liked, but it really goes to reinforce that I should be checking trichomes right up until the end, daily if possible. If I did, I would likely have flushed and chopped earlier. A few days makes a big difference, great to know. As of writing, dry tent is about 66 F / 61% RH with slight air circulation.
@thevalar007, anytime man, well done, that's it bro I'll be doing a few things differently with my future grows too, we learn what we like the better we get! 🔥🌿🌿 Happy holidays
