Following a slightly new germination method where you hang the bag of seeds, instead of laying flat. Looking forward to this grow!!

We have liftoff! The new germination method was a success! She’s now in her starter cup with Happy Frog soil and a light watering. She’s under my shelf 42w fluorescent bulbs for the next week weeks before moving into the tent with LEDs. We are on our way!
I’m really happy with her start this run! I plan to get her under LED tomorrow and get this party started!! I’ve been looking forward to this strain for a long time!
I tied her down in a 4 way cross to spread her out into a nice even bush. She’s responded very well to the LST so far!! I’ll have to get her into a 7 gal pot in the next week or so. Then off to fill the screen!
Tuesday update:
Transplanted to 7gal fabric pots with fresh ocean forest soil. Also used great white rooting powder since oven forest doesn’t have the myco. Watered her with 30mL URB and 20mL molasses for plants, per my usual transplant tea. I better harvest soon or my veg tent is going to explode!
I missed last week because my photos were on my phone that got wet and I lost all the pictures. She’s responding well to the additional LST and spreading out nicely! A week or so longer and I’ll flip to flower!
Today, I defoliated quite a few fan leaves to let a lot of light down into the canopy and reveal more bud sites. She’s looking fantastic and smells amazing!! I switched the timer and lowered the light to 18”. Time to flower!!
First week of flower complete! You can really see the color changes in the tips of the bud sites. She’s going to be huge!!! Looking forward to some huge stinky buds!!
Week three of flower complete! She's on her way now! Lots of bud sites looking good now!! I think there are going to be lots and lots of buds now!!
Update: Did a defol today at the end of week 3 to get more light to the lower buds.
Finishing week four of flower! Looking and smelling great so far! She’s got a beautiful color going and she smells amazing!! Here’s to smooth sailing for the remainder of the run!
Flowers continue to develop and she’s smelling absolutely amazing!!! Def not as much of a stretch and is showing more indica than Sativa. Looking good so far!
She’s doing great!! Flowers are forming beautifully with great color and smell. Did a little tucking of some leaves to get better light coverage. The tent smells so incredibly delicious!!
Oh man, she’s getting close!! She looks and smells amazing!! Tons of trichomes and beautiful color! Another week and then I’ll start flushing for 1-2 weeks of water only.
Flush time!! Water only all this week and until harvest. The Easter holiday is going to get in the way of harvest, so she may have to go longer than I’d like. She’s going to be super stony!!!
@@Suds_an_buds, I really have to get my act together with regards to my grow diary and start putting some pictures and info up as my three Hulkberry Clones I'm growing in my 4'x4' tent are in week 3 of flowering (two of the clones are "Re-Vedged" while the third is a regular clone that was taken off the mother I grew over the summer
Hey bro! I Would you prefer it to be a taller plant or was it your aim to keep it short or is it due to genetic and mix of other factors include the height. 12 weeks of veg is quite long You also have a 26 liter pots. What do you think about her on these regards Thank you for sharing with us.
@HighDanks, I responded to this yesterday and the site didn't save it for some reason. I try to select strains that have similar traits, but sometimes nature just does its thing. Check out my current Amnesiac diary for a plant that went nuts compared to its tent mate. I run two 2-plant SCROG tents and a third veg tent and am able to harvest close to a dry pound every 2 months. I start my plants in a shelf setup under fluorescent bulbs. I could probably save a little bit on veg time if I started under LED, but my veg tent is full of my 4 plants in 7 gal ready to move into the flower tents next week after I harvest. So 12 weeks may seem like a long veg time, but some plants grow faster than others and I will wait the extra time for the second plant to catch up to fill the screen a bit more before flipping. I can't complain about my yields, so letting her veg a bit longer give me that much extra bud in the end. I'm a patient grower and I'm sitting on more weed than I know what to do with....I just enjoy growing, so it's just fun for me at this point and I'm not in a hurry :)
@HighDanks, I usually try to pick strains that will have a similar height, but sometimes that just doesn't work out. Check out my Amnesiac diary for a plant that dwarfed it's tent mate and has HUGE buds! I start my seeds under fluorescent light due to my LED tents being full. I can shorten the veg time a little if I can start under LED, but I'm always at the mercy of the plant. Some strains grow huge very fast and then I have to wait to let the other plant catch up to at least fill part of the screen for a proper SCROG. Given that I do 2 flower tents at a time with 2 plants each, I yield close to a dry pound every two months, so vegging for 12 weeks is no big deal for me and I get a lot more to harvest for the extra veg time. I also have a third tent for vegging. Right now it's got 4 plants in 7 gal pots with LST tie downs for a flat canopy. You can check out those diaries, if you'd like.
