Hi all. I finally decided to plant a little defoliation this week... a lot of buds are hidden under leaves that are difficult to develop. I think before the end of flowering they will receive enough light to become stronger and covered with trichomes.
This one delivers one of the most amazing aromas I've come across on my 30+ year tasting journey. When it's flowering it smells very strangely of flat beer. I've never smelt that in a flowering plant before and it's an incredibly boring scent.
When I did though, I was getting ready to be disappointed about the finished buds. However, once they were dried and cured properly this boring scent turned into into piney, floral and herbal bliss. Very complex and incredibly tasty!
I'm looking forward to hearing about your results. :-)
Now I would like to ask you where you purchased the seeds. Humboldt Seed Organization's website still shows the same message they've been showing for two years or so; they can't sell anything because they're fighting some kind of legal battle.
Are your seeds from some old stock?
@Zurban_Poison, This website has been saying for the past two years or so that they're unable to process orders (because their gardens in Spain have been raided by the authorities) https://www.humboldtseeds.net/en/buy-cannabis-seeds/.
However, by simply Googling them I've found out that they moved to https://www.humboldtseeds.at/
Very strange.... But great that their seeds are available again!
@Shijo_Kingo, Thank you for your interesting review about the scent. I've already grown this variety once. just in an old wooden package. Then I didn’t pay much attention to the smell because of my lack of experience and many other plants were blooming at the time. but now I will be more attentive to these details.
regarding seeds. The manufacturer himself sent them to me relatively recently. the trial has ended. they operate under the same name. but they replaced the packaging with black plastic zip bags like fastbuds. They exist on Instagram and here it seems. are actively working.
