Welcome to a new diary. We are running a classic strain.
Super Silver Haze is one of my favourites and this also brings a conundrum, I can grow my favourite strain and i will know what to expect.... but where is the fun in that?
the point for growing is to discover new strains and explore more flavours.
in the case, i have decided to grow something that i used to buy almost every day when i lived in NL.
on the 6th of October the seed popped and was moved into 1L pot.
Lets have fun with this diary -- thanks again to @zammi_offical for sending these ones.
06/10/2023 - 15/10/2023
This closes up 10 days of grow since she popped out of the dirt until end of the week.
I dont see a point in adding an additional week to cover just 2 days
Enjoy the development of the plant :-)
This will be a 6 day week update. We are going on vacation and the plants wil have to survive in a body of water for those days. I usually connect the automatic watering system but for pots this size we decided to skip it.
The other option was to transfer them into their final pots, start the 2nd tent and go full blast with everything but the plants are 18 days old with small root system and therefore we decided to keep them in the 1l pot for 3 weeks and then once we are back to go full bore.
This week was a move week new buckets and tent. She is trying to recover from the shock of the trip plus no treatment for a while. Hopeful that she can flower in 4 - 5 weeks.
25/11/2023
After this week i have high hopes for her. She looks quite happy now and gotten food twice throughout the week.
the new growth looks healthy, and i will clean her up next week or mid-week.
Its been a great week, she is recuperating and got some topping.
I want to do some defoliation and then start some form of LST. the shape is quite bad due to the damage and it will be difficult to keep her short and stubby.
one more week of vegetation before she is getting flipped.
i moved the baby plants to a different tent and let these bad girls spread their wings. the following week will be a blast for them.
2nd week of flowering and she is getting taller by the day there is a minor burn and my gf raised the lights to the max. She will do some lst on the big tops
Wow another week down and I'm still off vacation. The gf is doing a good job keeping them happy. She moved the light abit higher and once I'm home I'll do some cleanup on them.
Week 4 is closed and took me 2 days to update the diary due to some website issue.
The plant is doing fine and growing up well. The flowers are getting hairy and starting to develop colors and smell. She reached max hight and running now on full @plagron nutrients
Once week 5 is done I will do some defoliation to allow more light to penetrate the canopy
Hi everyone, How's it going?
Last week passed really fast! Without noticing Friday has arrived and suddenly after some gaming i noticed that its Saturday morning :-) damnz... time to chop the plant and hang her for dry.
The trichomes are orangey / milky and in mind i would have taken her down last week, but many smart people told me if you have a doubt take no doubt and hold her one more week in flowering.
Enjoy the pictures from just before the chop in darkness and the chopping process.
Stay tuned as i will publish final weight and detailed smoke review
Thanks to @Zammi_official for sending this strain for review. I love growing weed :-)
Preface:
It took me 3 months to write this review. Life has its course and the path laid for me had different priorities.
Funny how everything can change in 3 months, especially the flavor of this strain.
The Grow Process:
The seed was germinated on the 6th of October 2023 and had 3 great weeks. However, after I went on vacation, there were catastrophic damages.
Leaving the plant small and barely surviving the shock. I don't like to give up on things in life, and this was the case for the plant as well.
For the next 5 weeks, she was nurtured back to health.
After completing 11 weeks of vegetation, we were off to the races.
The flowering period was 8 weeks, without any issues or noticeable damage from the vegetation stage.
Around week 7, she started to show a tiny bit of nutrient burn, and for the last week, she was on a water-only diet.
When I checked her trichomes around the 50-day mark, they were milky white and ready to go. I kept her for one more week.
Lessons learned: Be sure of your automation process or any process when leaving plants unattended.
Smoke Review:
This is my daily driver.
A sativa-dominant strain with a strong cerebral high and uplifting mood that can keep you going throughout the day without a hassle. The notes are lemon, pepper, and earthy, with high amounts of resin and extremely sticky buds.
Hi bro, do you measure the drainage after watering? And if it's possible it would be cool if you could upload drainage ppm and ph levels.
Now of course it's the end of blooming and I wish you a successful havrest, but I'd love to help you in the future 💚
Check your ph
And you propably wrong water them dont over water them also is bad when you put a little bit water only you need every time water them well them let them make soil dry well other wise they will suffer
@BudBoutique, they suffered from over dose when I was out on vacation. Now they are under. They will be moved into a large pot with food over this weekend.
