Week 7 - Fast Buds LSD-25 Grow Diary
It's been an exciting week in the grow room as my Fast Buds LSD-25 plants continue to develop, and the highlight of this week has been the enchanting transformation of the buds turning a deep shade of purple. The journey with these incredible plants has been an adventure so far, and I'm eager to share the developments.
The buds are now well into their flowering stage, with the aroma intensifying every day. The unique scent, a blend of earthy and sweet notes, fills the room, making it a truly sensory experience. I've noticed that the purple hues are most prominent in the calyxes and sugar leaves surrounding the buds.
The change in coloration has been fascinating to witness. It's a result of anthocyanin pigments, which are triggered by cooler temperatures during the late flowering stage. This plant's genetics make it particularly susceptible to this phenomenon. The purple coloration adds a captivating contrast to the bright orange pistils, making the buds look like a work of art.
The leaves, which were once lush green, have transitioned into shades of purple, ranging from deep violet to royal purple. This transformation adds a striking visual appeal to the garden, and I can't help but admire the plant's resilience and adaptability.
As for the overall health of the plants, they continue to thrive. The bud sites are swelling, and the trichome production is in full swing. I've maintained a consistent feeding schedule, ensuring they receive the appropriate nutrients to support this final push of growth.
With approximately a few more weeks to go, I'll be keeping a close eye on the trichomes to determine the optimal harvest time. The anticipation is building, and I can't wait to see how the final product turns out. Stay tuned for more updates as we approach harvest day.
