She looks healthy. I'm constantly comparing my grow to those I see on YouTube week 3, although I burned some leaves she's looking bushy, green and there's multiple stretches of node sites from the early lst. Her main stem is very thick and tree like which is exciting. Still watering at 2.5ml of plagron terra grow as there's no white pistils yet (phew). And upped her calmag to 2ml per 2l last feed as I saw some slight paleness on leaves and wanted to nip any problems in the bud (literally.) Continually leaf tucking throughout the day but she's under quite a strong breeze aswell. Staked her down in some places and re tied her today as I removed it for a night. Anchor line was left in whilst I did this. She's still being watered every 4-5 days as that's when she typically dries out. Let me know if she's on track! Notice anything that needs my attention? Any advice is appreciated. I pray to you weed gods on here to show me the way to the grow light! Day 23 advice update; We are having some rusting spots appear on some leaves. Any ideas what could be causing this? When she is watered (frequency mentioned above) she is receiving 2.5ml of plagron terra grow nutrients in 2l of water. When she is watered there is no run off or little to none. Please advise!! Apart from this I am astonished. She's very bushy, I can count at least 6 potential top sites which means I was at least successful with lst. Hoping all the preparation will have her well set up for stretching into the flower phase. Unsure if I saw one white pistil today or not on the main cola branch. Will update in the next few days with the ol' written word and will be still updating daily via pictures. Day 24 update. Watered today with 2l of water and 1ml of calmag and low stress trained again since her main node was higher than the rest. No nutes apart from calmag on this feed. I predict she'll need watering by the 15th-16th of November. Day 25 update, I snapped the main cola lst'ing I know, I know. I was shaking, my wife wasn't even home to help with her tiny nimble hands and that left me with the task of taping her up with clear cellotape. But, I rolled watched a couple of videos and said, f*ck it let's see! *it wasn't a clean snap, only about 1/3rd of the stem split, I created a makeshift operating table under her using the very same firm garden wire that twanged as I picked up the pot and snapped her. It was the second node from the top, and her leaves drooped every so slightly for an hour, by 3 hours her leaves were praying again and seem to have recovered. Jeez. Intense day. She seemed to enjoy her just ph'd water and calmag as I was advised not to feed nutes with every feed. Still wet. But drinking well. I mean hopefully, with the stress she redirects even more to the lower nodes that have formed potential tops. It's a really nice even canopy, bushy, her stems thickening and she is gaining height. I may have seen a double pistil, what is this indicating? May pose a grow question and show the surgery to my girl, get advice on how it'll affect it, have I done a good job of fixing it and will my wife kill me for snapping her? Stay tuned lol. Day 28 update Tomorrow we will be entering week 4 and she will be one month old from sprout. Her lower nodes have finally gotten long enough so that I can steak them down towards the edges of my pot and staked around 5 potential cola sites. Her nutes will be increased to 5ml in her next feed, as very soon she will require bloom, her sex pistils are starting to show on a few sites. Fighting for that extra growth and stretch before flower. Very excited for this upcoming week I'm expecting explosive growth!

Might be wrong but I think you started doing LST a bit too early. Wait till she grows more nodes like three to four (then tie down node four to expose node three to the light, and so on), right now there's really no need to LST cuz there aren't any overshadowed grow sites present yet... Good luck 🙌 (again could be wrong if yield isn't your concern, since you mentioned bonsai)

@zenco, I do see some growth, the lower branches are stretching and leaves seem to be growing, I'm just so scared about her flowering before she's ready. I'm really put off autos. My first two grows were like hand me down lights and equipment next to nothing. But they flowered so early ( gorilla glue #4 and critical 2.0) This time I've invested a little more time and money hoping it equates to end mass lol. She's very pliable atm, she was thickening rapidly at the stalk and I honestly didn't want to snap her at a later point so it was a now or never, so far pleasantly surprised I'll be updating every week if you do happen to follow along

@UmbrellaCorpCow, only day 16 and she seems to be responding well to the stress, I'm sure she'll do great with what u plan on doing. Just one of those drawbacks of lst is trying to find out whether she's stunted or busy recovering underneath the soil :/ Keep staying patient and nimble with ur fingers and I think you should be good for sure

@zenco, hey, I've just added a day 16 lst progress update, I've only seen an odd few lst at such a young week. There are now around 4 branches more exposed than before lst (the lighter green leaf areas in the picture) one is underneath the main cola branch. Once she stretches a bit more, I'm going to try then rotate and stake down the main cola at a 45degree angle to expose that lower potential cola to have a total of 5 main colas fingers crossed. It may not work, im hoping it doesn't stunt her

Following for your first grow -- for a long time, when i was able to grow a few years ago, I followed hundreds of new growers to help them with their fundamentals. it's been a few years since I've been able to grow, but i'll be able to again in a couple weeks, so I may be a bit rusty to give you super in depth feedback for the first bit. What you will notice for sure is that teaching people the basics will be how you go from a good solid beginner to a good solid intermediate grower, it helped me immensely. Your plant is very promising, though it's growth is going to be split among all those colas. if you're only doing LST and you're doing enough to make it sad, that's no longer LOW stress training. Everyone pushes it a bit too much every once in a while, but if youre going to shock it, do all the things that are going to shock it (defoliate, whatever) at the same time to minimize time under shock. Make sure to give it time to recover during its early flower and go easy from here on out; it will be more brittle and you have already laid the groundwork for its overall structure during veg. generally, if you have to do LST during flower it's because if you won't there'll be an issue crowding wise, best to avoid.

@Jaindoh, didn't see this comment til now, she's definitely still growing which is giving me some relief that I haven't stunted her I'm pretty happy with her leaves atm. Still really nice and lush green. I've been removing some bottom growth around 8 so far I think on the lower and leaving the rest I may do some minor pulling out of the branches if she's too tightly packed in the centre but leaving her to finish stretching before tying down in proper flower. We've enjoyed the process so far it's been amazing watching her grow now its all watching and reacting. No leaf spots atm really, minor tip burns occurring tho so need to sort that apart from that we're just pretty much watching her lol its a pleasure really mad plants lol

@UmbrellaCorpCow, you are likely to see some stretch but it's probably going to be 8in max. In my experience the only other main thing that makes plants barely stretch is when theyre basically completely rooted out in their container. As strong as modern autos are, it's hard to think they've done that in 5 weeks. The stretch will be good, the extra nodes on those colas will all have bud, and the nodal spacing should be tight. I use very similar training techniques myself. How much it stretches is going to be strain and pheno dependent.
Jaindoh
Jaindoh
@UmbrellaCorpCow, this shape will control the stretch very well. Super resilient strains are even good for advanced growers, depending on the conditions you have. Big fan of Royal Queen. The only thing I would add about your training is that this is a shit ton of colas which will split the growth a bit too much for yield (i've done the same thing repeatedly). Next time do the same thing but cut the vertical branches and only keep 8 growth tips. With autoflowers, you don't get to control when they start flowering, which means you can miss the best windows to do things like remove colas that will end up as larf or crowding. You're probably going to have crowding issues, so be careful about mold. honestly I almost think you might should clear out some of the stuff in the middle despite it flipping, but it's a really tough call with autos.

Hey bro nice plants! Im about to start my first autoflowers could you please tell me how much plants you have grown? And did you really got does beatifull buds woth only that fecida lamp? Are 120 watts enough to get buds like yours??
UmbrellaCorpCow
UmbrellaCorpCow
@Friendlystoner420, hey cheers man, me and my wife have currently grown white widow, wedding cake, northern lights, orion f1 and just cracking some new seeds from taste budz, yeah I used that light singularly throughout all my grows although I could do with another if growing more than one plant, but yes with its dimmer function I found that its easy to adapt to problems. A lot of factors go into achieving even popcorn nugs, the right watering schedule, not stressing her, the right light intensity, humidity. Some gals are fussy, others could sprout on a dessert rock and be happy. But definitely recommend fecida.

Hello! Very detailed and great report! What time you usually water plant ? Did you make lst before watering or after?
UmbrellaCorpCow
UmbrellaCorpCow
@OG_Mane, around 8pm at night I think, every 4-5 days in veg and 3-4 during flower. Lst after watering as the water can dislodge and disturb your tie down/stake down points, good luck bro
