**Grow Diary Journal Entry: 8 Weeks Into Flowering**
Date: Feb 18, 2024
Week 8 of flowering has been a sight to behold! Our garden is transforming into a trichome wonderland, with buds bulking up and shimmering like a frosty morning. The air is thick with anticipation (and a pungent, delightful aroma) as we edge closer to harvest.
Last week, in a moment of impatience mixed with a dash of grower's curiosity, I decided to dry a branch to test the fruits of our labor. The verdict? Potent with a capital P, accompanied by a cerebral lift-off that's nothing short of space travel. The experience left me buzzing with excitement—this strain is shaping up to be something special.
Tonight, amidst the routine of reservoir cleaning and the meticulous task of flushing, I took the opportunity to trim a few more lower branches. It's all about giving the upper colas more energy to swell even bigger in this final stretch. She received nothing but pH-balanced water, a simple elixir to cleanse and prepare for the grand finale.
Handling the branches, I couldn't help but marvel at their stickiness—my fingers were coated in resin, a testament to the potency awaiting us. The scent that filled the air was intoxicating, a blend of earthy undertones and a sweet, almost fruity finish.
As I lay the trimmed branches out to dry, I find myself already daydreaming about the curing process. There's something magical about watching cannabis mature, transform, and develop its full spectrum of flavors and effects. If the initial test is anything to go by, we're in for a treat once everything is properly cured.
The anticipation for the final product is palpable, not just for the high but for the full sensory experience. The appearance, aroma, and texture of these buds are already impressive, and I can only imagine how they'll improve with a proper cure.
Looking forward to sharing the final results with you all. Until then, happy growing and here's to the final countdown!
For some reason the TDS number creeped up high (even though little water from the hydro had evaporates and been used). This caused burnt tips and leaves on the first set of leaves. Everything seems to be recovering well.
My Gummiebears that I'm growing right now (atlas seeds as well) has the same look were the branches meet the stem.. almost like the branches are welded on .. I haven't seen this before is it normal? Happy growing ✌️
@Hempface86, I have not. The only times I've seen it is where the plant breaks and heals itself around the break it forms a knuckle like that. I forced its branches almost daily so i may have made it do it unless its in the genetics. I like it either way, it seems sturdy!
Eyy buddy, as promised came to say hi.✌️🏻 Great strain choice, looking forward to seeing her growing in your garden. Also growing Dos-si-dos next to the other one you've already seen. Good luck, mate.🌱💨
@GrowPilot, Thanks a ton! Yes, it’s quite busy at the beginning but it pays off when it comes to great yield and quality stuff.
Ps. Just updated.;)
Followed you back buddy.
