KikiMinnekannabis The girls have started their first week of flower. Lemon Haze is really rocking along with beautiful, healthy looking leaves and tops. Purple Haze 1 is still somewhat sick, too many yellow/light green leaves, but we're going to nurse her along and hope for the best results. We're now on a 12/12 schedule. Lights are on at 7:30pm and off at 7:30am. The netting is up and helping to spread out the canopy. We'll need to do a serious pruning on Lemon Haze as she's pretty bushy right now.

KikiMinnekannabis We started our beans in water and transplanted to Happy Frog after the tails appeared. Being new growers, we were a bit too excited, but we had babies sprout within 3 days. Purple Haze 1 showed up first, followed by Super Lemon Haze 1 & 2. Purple Haze 2 sprouted the next day but she is the runt of all four. After growing under an LED plant light for a week, we then transferred them to 5 gallon fabric pots with Premium Coco Coir 60%, Worm Castings 20% and Perlite 20%. and placed them into the tent. LED lighting panel is 18" above the tops and set at level 4. We run the lights from 6:30pm until 12:30pm the next day then lights out. Everyone looks super happy and are thriving in the grow tent! We are having an absolute blast with our new hobby! We have so much more to learn and we're looking forward to hearing your feedback. Love the AC Infinity app, just trying to learn more about the features, but it's really easy to dial it in to achieve the results you want inside the tent.

KikiMinnekannabis See photos. Worried about some leaf wilt. Any ideas? We're planning on topping Purple Haze 1 and Super Lemon Haze 1 on Thursday. The other two, with the wilt, don't have enough nodes yet (3 0r 4). The ones we're topping have 5 nodes today.

KikiMinnekannabis I'm pretty sure we've been overwatering. We were going to top 2 girls yesterday but decided to hold off. Huge mistake when I discovered I had bumped up the light intensity to 7. Yikes! Reeled it back in and keeping an eye on them. Going to carefully feed and water today. I still think they look pretty happy. Purple Haze 2 looks like she's recovering from the overwater and has increased her size to catch up with her sisters. Super Lemon Haze 1 is still the rockstar with Purple Haze 1 coming in a close second. Ran into some major issues. Had white powder everywhere from using hard tap water in the humidifier. Big mistake. Cleaned everything up and bought more distilled water. Then our VPD was soaring. I thought I had the controller set up correctly but damn, I was wrong! Finally found the info I needed for the settings and everything has been running excellent ever since! Shout out to MNgrower22 for their support! Our VPD has been a steady 1.00 +/- and the girls are happy again. Purple Haze took a hard hit when this happened but she's recovering nicely. Fed them well with all nutes last night and they are really doing good.😀

Should we add a CO2 bag to our growing tent? Do they add value to the plants or is it a gimmick? Our local big box store has them in stock. The one's from the mega online place has bad reviews (bags arriving already activated).

Migrow u tube just did test on co2, but yea co2 bags are waste of money from what ive heard they make no measurable impact plus ur introducing something into the enviroment. I wudnt use them but check out his recent vid on comparing with or with out. He had whole co2 setup he tested. Its interesting

We found white powder on the fans and carbon exhaust but not on the girls. Found out it was from using our hard tap water in the humidifier. Has anyone used the humidifier capsules to reduce the minerals in tap water or do we go back to buying distilled water? Thx!

You can't use tap water in a humidifier if it's hard water. You'll clog up your carbon filters and make a dusty mess all over the place. Only RO, or distilled water can be used.

KikiMinnekannabis We pruned and topped on Saturday 11/25. Fed water only. They are showing yellow leaves and brown patches this morning 11/27. I don't think we're giving them enough water. Fed this morning with 1/2 gallon water with cal-mag. Checking them at 12:30pm this afternoon before lights out for 6 hours. Hopefully the soaking and cal-mag will help. 🙏

KikiMinnekannabis We thought we had nute deficiencies. Tried Recharge. The girls seemed to pick up a little but after inspection, we think they're getting light burned. Followed advice of little brother who's never grown under LED. He told us they needed to be at 80%. Big mistake. We raised the lights and turned them down to 70%. All the new growth is green. I just removed the orange curlers this morning. Thinking we will start using the scrog net next weekend. Tonight they get a good drink with cal-mag. This journey has been fun but frustrating with so many variables. Thinking about switching to a different nute brand on the next grow.

KikiMinnekannabis We have been trying to help our girls recover. We flushed the pots and then fed them a day later with cal-mag and recharge. They're already looking a bit better today. We think we've been seriously under watering and feeding. The good news is they aren't dead yet. Two of the girls have broken main stems but we've patched them up (wire & tape) and they seem to be okay. We are staying in veg until they are feeling better, then adding the scrog net to even out the canopy. We also raised the lights and are keeping them at 60%. We feel pretty bad that with all the awesome equipment that we have, we really messed this grow up. Rethinking about using coco on the next grow, or we might add grow dots. One thing we have learned is that coco needs a lot of water and runoff.

KikiMinnekannabis Starting week 5 of flower tomorrow. Added Recharge to the regimen and it has really helped! This is a very exciting stage. Opening the tent you get a blast of danky sweetness. Still struggling with purple haze 1 but she's coming along. The lemon sisters are starting to show their powerful genes and I expect a huge stretch this week.

KikiMinnekannabis Lemon 2 (Lucy) still has too much lower foliage. Thinking about really trimming her down. We think we have about 2 weeks of flower left until harvest. Reducing nutes next week then just water until chop. We'll be using our growing tent to dry using the hangar method with all 4 of the girls. Crossing our fingers.

KikiMinnekannabis We stopped feeding nutes and the girls are only getting water. Preparing for harvest within the next week. Starting to see some cloudy trichomes but most are still clear. Dropped our new seeds, Lemon Orange, into the water on Monday and tonight they have tails!

We put these girls through a lot. This was our very first grow and it took awhile to dial everything in. From underwatering to over-nuting, I'm surprised we have any kind of harvest. Buds are decent with some good sized colas but many popcorn buds, due to our lack of training. Still happy with the end results. She smokes smooth with a bit of berry on the aftertaste.

KikiMinnekannabis Yes, trimming is exciting at first, but then becomes a chore, especially when you're trying to jar them up as soon as possible. The odor from the garbage bag is overwhelming with dank! It's hard to chop them up when you've spent so much time with them.

Looking great! I'm running SLH from ILGM as well, just started into week 3 of flowering. It's one of those nostalgic strains for me that I'm quite familiar growing. Anyways I thought I'dgive my 2 cents on your past questions. I too have chalky hard water. You could easily buy a cheap distiller to solve it. I bought mine for around $ 80 online. One of my best investments yet. Easily have already gotten my ROI on it. Over 180 gallons made thusfar. Has tons of other applicable uses. Easy to do before bed and before work. Hell of a lot better to clean distiller than humidifier. Just run a cycle using citric acid when buildup gets too heavy and it's like new. I also collect & filter rainwater for plants because of it & I ain't ever using anything else. As far as CO2... well worth the investment in a quality setup. After introducing it into my grow mid veg... I seen my growth rate dramatically increase. Instead of doubling in size during first 2 weeks of flower my slh has tripled. Not sure if it's directly correlated to the CO2 alone... but I feel it is as all the branches near my lines stretched better than those that weren't. It's seriously shaping up to be my best grow yet for maximizing space, even though I've absent from the scene for over a decade. Good luck with your harvest!

Really Nice set up for a newbie lol, good luck on the grow! I would start reading into micro/grow/bloom, from what ever company you think is best. I would be starting to hit them with nutes. also read into the defoilation methods to create your own pruning regime through the plants life cycle to help free up space and focus the plants energy on certain parts. Lots of other training methods but you should just chill and enjoy your set up the first time around in "my opinion". Also there are many ways to skin a cat, do what works best for you!

@KikiMinnekannabis, That is WAY too high. Google “DLI chart: Autoflower” week 6 should be at 45-55 DLI. I’d be at around 45-46 if I were you. Make sure you have a paper diffuser around the top of your phone when you have the app open towards the light.

@AznAutoMN, I turned the light intensity down to 50%. These are not autoflowers. I think you're right, though. We didn't start seeing problems until we raised the light percentage. Worse case is we just veg a little bit longer before flipping. I want them to be healthy first.

@KikiMinnekannabis,oh right on they are photos? The DLI Chart for Photo’s say 45ish for week 6 and after you flip em 25-36 for the next four weeks. Good luck down the stretch!!

Nice grow. But you will learn that ILGM has trash genetics. Youre better off with seed banks like neptune, north Atlantic Seed Company or deeply rooted seed bank. Even seedsman is hands down better quality than ilgm. Not trying to be negative...
