Bean sprouted day 5 of germination. Had to gently remove bean casing from leaves. Started Canna Start and Canna Rhizotonic. Looking healthy.

Week 2, Day 9. Seedling doing great. Looks really healthy and shooting up nicely. Happy days!

Week 3. Looking good. A stretchy strain this. Tent was like a sauna! Hopefully not had much of an effect.

Day 51, entering 3rd week of flower. The Sativa in this strain is really dominant with her showing no signs of letting up on the stretch. This girl literally bursts from the dirt and doesn't stop. Had to do a little LST despite being in flower just to keep the cola sites roughly level. This strain can get as tall as 140cm. Might consider putting the scrog net in next week if she keeps blasting ahead. Being sativa dominant the stems are quite thin and the net should help support them and their flowers as we progess. Day 64, Day 25 of flower. Loving the stretch on this sativa strain. It's naturally sparse leaves allow light to penetrate each of the bud sites. Sweet! The flowers are starting to come into their own now, a really dark purple made more striking by by the protruding white hairs. She's gonna be a beauty! Glad I used LST from an early age with her. I'm happy with the height. Let free she would be just about touching it. I've added a few LST clips just to open up the canopy a little more for maximum light absorbtion Current feed schedule is 600ml every 2 days. She's coming along nicely. Really starting to gain height, Still compact but now tall enough to use a couple of LST clamps to try and spread the bud sites a little. Thanks for stopping by and showing an interest. Day 71, Day 32 of flower. The flowers are really starting to resemble the breeders strain pic. Current feed schedule is 900ml every 2 days. Day 78, Day 39 of flower. The flowers are really starting to resemble the breeders strain pic. Current feed schedule is 1000ml every 2 days. Breeder website says seed to harvest, up to 9 weeks (63 days), I'm on day 78 and the buds are still soft but plumping nicely but remain soft and lacking density. I reckon it should read 60 days of flower ish. That'll put my harvest time roughly 3 weeks away, which seems about right for where she's at, providing density improves. Breeder website says seed to harvest, up to 9 weeks (63 days), I'm on day 78 and the buds are still soft but plumping nicely but remain soft and lacking density. I reckon it should read 60 days of flower ish. That'll put my harvest time roughly 3 weeks away, which seems about right for where she's at, providing density improves. Buds still slowly increasing in density. Trichomes are cloudy. Not sure if they're going to turn amber before buds are fully formed. Will be keeping a closer eye on from here on in. Day 92, Day 51 of flower. As she ripens her color has deepens to the deepest purple. Current feed schedule is 600ml every day. Bud density improving but not where she should be. As mentioned before, could be that the bean is over 5yr old, the humidity mishap at mid veg (99% for 4-5 hours 😱). Whatever the reason, gonna flush her as of tomorrow to see if we can't push the trichomes to amber. Come this far, may as well see if anything is salvageable. Day 99, Day 58 of flower. Current feed schedule is 600ml every day to run off. Bud density improving but not where she should be. Day 103, Day 62 flower. 20% amber trichomes achieved. Time to harvest. Buds are still squishy and airy, but a little research tells me that this is not uncommon in some sativa strains. This is the first time I've come across it. The smell of the buds is not as offensive as it was at the start of flowering and has mellowed to a diesely aroma. I've never tried diesel strains. This is very little on the web about this strain and what is there isn't particularly helpful. For eg, there is no information on strain lineage. If anything, info indicates it's an indica strain! This is not the case. She stretched from the start and when producing buds they were well spaced. The whole grow she showed sativa tendencies. Not expecting any weight to this after drying as it is so airy. She is sticky though so hopefully will be worth the smoke. I'll update the journal with the weight once fully dried Update: Pleasantly surprised - 88g dried weight. Update: Pulled a tester nug last week and tried today. A swift heady high but with little in the way of a body hit. Not overly impressed, but mixed with a little White Widow gives a nice balance. Well, there we go. Another one done.
