I sow my seeds directly into final pot placed in the grow tent not in any darkness this is a silly idea, plants dont need this for germination aslong as the seed has soil over the top it will be fine. She took about 4 days to pop through the surface. I placed a humidty dome over the top of the fabric pot for this stage , you just have to spray water over the seed and have the medium premoistened a bit aswell for good measure. Im growing in batmix soil In all honesty I prefer soil and organic nutes all that run off is a pain with synthetic nutes. Im happy with the progress so far next week I think she will have much more vigorous growth i am really looking forward to growing this out along with my other thats not popped yet my blue sunset sherbert
Looking in good health but growth a little slow which is probably a good thing as I dont really want to have to set up another tent for the two photo periods also growing with these two autos. Hoping the autos will be finished before massive growth from the photos starts
Im glad to be back growing in soil , It just seems easier and I understand things better, Im liking the look of this pheno she has nice broad leaves looking indica dominant. I have given her some fishmix instead of grow for a change this has proved in the past to be very potent indeed at improving lush growth. She was topped yesterday on day 21. I might have to utilize my other tent as growth may explode next week
did some defoliation might have slowed her down a few days , will try not to remove anymore leaves now and let it get on to producing some nice flowers
Sadly I discovered some ball sacks on her and according to the information I have read she's a true hermaphrodite and its down to the genetics, I have heard other growers complain about this particular strain from barney's . Anyway Im glad I spotted this yesterday before the sacks had chance to release pollen and mess up my other plants. I think if I grow this again I'll decrease the veg time just in case this happens again or do two at the same time hoping there'll be no issues, so the moral of the story is check you females for ball sacks frequently
Had to chop her down sadly as I found ball sacks on her yesterday so dissapointed was really looking forward to trying this strain, probably easier to buy some next in amsterdam lol, no I will try again at some point maybe not this year though
