Oh, what a wild ride Week 3 has been in the grand saga of my plant parenting escapade! I might have channeled my inner Edward Scissorhands a bit too early in the week and decided to give the ladies a fancy haircut – a practice known in the horticultural world as "topping." My plants, initially shocked and possibly contemplating filing a complaint, looked at me as if to say, "Seriously, dude? Bad hair day much?"
For a while there, it seemed like I'd disrupted the plant version of a high school prom, with some of them sporting the botanical equivalent of messy updos. I could almost hear the whispers among the leaves, "Did you see what THCpapaTHCPAPA did to his ladies? It's a horticultural scandal!"
Despite the initial leafy rebellion, my green companions gradually forgave me, and things started to look up. It's amazing what a little time and a dash of plant therapy can do. I'm pretty sure they're secretly plotting to add a plant psychologist to their support team – "Help, our owner has a pruning obsession!"
However, the drama didn't stop there. Two of my green divas decided to go all Hollywood on me and started showing signs of leaf discoloration. I interpreted this as their subtle way of saying, "Hey, this pot is so last season, we need a bigger space to spread our roots and flourish."
Ever the accommodating plant parent, I decided it was time for a relocation project. Transplanting became the horticultural version of a reality TV show – "Plants in Transit." I even played a dramatic soundtrack as I carefully uprooted and relocated the drama queens. I could almost hear their tiny voices saying, "At last, a roomy penthouse for our roots!"
Now, as I reflect on the events of Week 3, I can't help but feel like a botanical superhero who faced adversity head-on. Despite the leafy hiccups, I remain hopeful that my green squad will rise like photosynthetic phoenixes from the ashes of my overenthusiastic pruning and questionable pot size choices. Here's to hoping that the next chapter in the plant chronicles will be filled with fewer surprises and more leafy victories. Stay tuned for the next episode of "Growing Up Green," coming soon to a tent near you! 🌱✨
@THCpapa, nice work for your first grow. I stuck two five gallons and a 3 in a 2x2 tent with minimal control. Shockingly the results sucked. lol.
Keep up the good work.
@Mekster, Thank you! I am new to this grown thing and am only youtube educated in this. Intension was topping her but I might have done it a bit early, and now i am speading her (sounds kinky lol) so she can let more light inside of her
@StarfishSmallBatch, Appreciate the check up brother! I watch you grow very closely and learned a few things from you (such as the mag deficency on leave color)
Back again I noticed the same exact thing with my plants around this time where they really wanted the nutes! I've heard raspberry boogie produces large branches and big nugs, so it does make sense!
