Mycorrhizal Inoculant - Dynomyco
Mycorrhizal Inoculant 2.604 mll
(germination through first week of seedling 11/29-12/10) Days 1 to 7 Starting a new grow with two Royal Queen, Purple Queen Seeds (thank you Royal Queen for making this possible) I plan to be rough with these plants and top them both to 8 colas. This journal will be different than my last (alot less detail) but I will still look for new opportunities to learn something new that I can share. I also plan to take at least 5 pics per week with 1 video and 1 'pretty' cover pic per week, however I also plan to delete the excess details at the end of each week. I had these seeds for about 4 months now. They have been stored in the fridge inside a paper bag. I took the seeds out of the fridge and let the rest on the counter for two days before dropping them in water. After a seed inspection of which I noticed some unatural bumps on the shell of one, but no cracks or splits, I dropped them both in purified water for 19 hours. Since the shells still hadn't cracked, I then transferred both seeds to paper towels with the belly button side up and pressed them against the glas side to make the tap root grow straight down. These seeds took 2 days to show a crack in the shell from the time that I placed them into the paper towel - Once they cracked, I cut the middle of Rapid Rooter starter pods and placed the tap root down inside the pods. I then closed the pods with ends of toothpicks and placed them in an incubator until they showed a tap root growing out from the bottom of the pods. That took a total of 4 days from paper towel to transplant day (now called Day 1) where they were about 1 to 1.5 inches above the soil line after I planted them in 1 cup pots. Dynomyco Mycorrhizal Inoculant was already mixed into the ph balanced soil that had been growing Happy Frog mycorrhizae for about a month. I used 8.75ph purified water with the soil to create a soil with 6.3ph (this soil has been notorious for being extremely low on ph and by week 4 to 5 after second topping the first fan leaves show a calcium deficit.)

(12/11-12/17) Days 8 to 14 Hope everyone enjoys the pictures. I will try to add a video and black back or cover pics by end of week every week. Week 1 Notes & Observations: Plant 1 and 2 have been showing nice steady growth. Both seem to have similar phenos so far, so Im looking forward to a nice straightforward grow and training with minimal variants. They will be kept in these containers until week 4+ VPD and PPFD: This week I will hold the humidity at ~75 to 80% while under a dome and temps will be monitored for 70- 75F daytime with 66-71F overnight. Im adjusting my lights and look to control them at ~250ppfd max. I will have to raise and lower pots inside the tent as I will be growing these at a different interval of other plants.

(12/18-12/24) Days 15 to 21 Hope everyone enjoys the pictures. I will try to add a video and black back or cover pics by end of week every week. Week 1 Notes & Observations: Plant 1 and 2 have been showing nice steady growth. Both seem to have similar phenos so far, so Im looking forward to a nice straightforward grow and training with minimal variants. They will be kept in these containers until week 4+ 12/24 - fed both plants 4 cups purified water. I added 100ppm of veg mix concentrate (recipe above) added .25ml of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0). PH balanced water to of 6.55ph. I got about 2 cups of runoff from each plant and it was 6.25ph. I will be topping next week. I also topped the first set down to the 3rd node on each plant.

had to skip a few weeks due to camera and uploading issues... these were the pics that I could salvage. Basically nothing new up to this point as I just let the first set of topped limbs goto the 6th node of growth

Second Topping after 6th node (7th actually) of new growth. I then cut down to the third node leaving it and the first node, but I removed the second node/leaves. I used HST and positioned the limbs. This is the 'manifold' set. Basically 4 colas and 4 branches rather than 8 whole colas as with using the mainline approach. Cant say Im a fan of this method; it has fewer cuts than mainline, but it places the limbs at 2 different distances to the roots. We will see what we get in this kind of set.

This is actually day 62 - 1 day before flip so I defoliated very bottom leaves and tried to position the limbs again.

Flower Week 0 Day 0 to 6 - 2/13 to 2/19 1st week of flower, I defoliated the day before and training this week is light for stretch. Basically, she only has to recover from the changes this week and next. Week 3 of flower will include another heavy defoliation and training of stretched limbs. Feed this week was 1 gallon two times with about 4 days between. 600ppm total before add-ins. I used 150ppm Veg concentrate mix (recipe week 2) and 450ppm Bloom concentrate mix (recipe week 5). However, I also added 1ml/gal of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) to all feeds and an additional add-in of 15ml/gal Roots Organics HP2 (Aurora Innovations 0-4-0). PH balance this week was 6.3.

Flower Week 1 Day 7 to 13 - 2/20 to 2/26 Week 2 of flower - nice stretch this week, by the end of the week I was able to start training the limbs with LST bending. But mostly just let them grow straight up for the first 14 days of flower since they were hard defoliated the day before flip. Other than less mobility in the arrangements the style of manifold works. Feed this week was 1 gallon two times with about 4 days between. 650ppm total before add-ins. I used 325ppm Veg concentrate mix (recipe week 2) and 325ppm Bloom concentrate mix (recipe week 5). However, I also added 1ml/gal of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) to all feeds and an additional add-in of 15ml/gal Roots Organics HP2 (Aurora Innovations 0-4-0). PH balance this week was 6.3.

Flower Week 2 Day 14 to 20 - 2/27 to 3/4 Training the limbs with LST bending and tie downs. Still not sure where to place the manifold limbs since they are so different in spacing. So this is what I came up with. Big ole mess. At the end of the week on day 21 I defoliated and took pictures. Feed this week was 1 gallon two times with about 4 days between. 700ppm total before add-ins. I used 175ppm Veg concentrate mix (recipe week 2) and 525ppm Bloom concentrate mix (recipe week 5). However, I also added 1ml/gal of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) to all feeds and an additional add-in of 15ml/gal Roots Organics HP2 (Aurora Innovations 0-4-0). PH balance this week was 6.4.

Flower Week 3 Day 21 to 27 - 3/5 to 3/11 Just monitoring now. All seems okay so far. Feed this week was 1.25 gallon two times with about 4 days between. 750ppm total before add-ins. I used 750ppm Bloom concentrate mix (recipe week 5). However, I also added 1ml/gal of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) to all feeds. PH balance this week was 6.4. I plan to feed the same amounts again next week and start increasing ph to 6.5 next week and 6.6 by week 7 when I also plan to start flushing with reduced nutes and HP2 again.

Flower Week 4 Day 28 to 34 - 3/12 to 3/18 Just monitoring now. All seems okay so far, just a few minor adjustments of the rings Feed this week was 1.25 gallons two times with about 4 days between. 750ppm total before add-ins. I used 750ppm Bloom concentrate mix (recipe week 5). However, I also added 1ml/gal of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) to all feeds. PH balance this week was 6.5. Flower Week 5 Day 35 to 41 - 3/19 to 3/25 Got behind on my attention to these this week. That combined with their age in maturity, they really show stress this week. Feed this week was 1.25 gallons 1 time this week and they suffered because of it. 700ppm total before add-ins. I used 700ppm Bloom concentrate mix (recipe week 5). Then I added 1ml/gal of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) PH balance this week was 6.5 again. I plan to feed 1.25gal next week with 6.6ph. However starting this week I will be starting a flush cycle of half ppms at about 400 and also decided that I will not be using HP2 - final defoliation will happen as well

Flower Week 6 Day 42 to 48 - 3/26 to 4/1 Stepped up my attention with these this week and hope I didnt let them go too far for a decent harvest. I defoliated for the last time this week and spotted more purple leaves. The buds are super dense so I have higher hopes than I did last week Feed this week was 1.25 gallons 2 times. 700ppm total before add-ins. I used 400ppm Bloom concentrate mix (recipe week 5). Then I added 1ml/gal of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) PH balance this week was 6.6 I plan to feed 1.25gal 2 times with 6.6ph and half nutes. This will also be the same for all remaining feeds before harvest. From this point Im simply watching for signs to harvest in the pistils, calyx, and trichomes

Flower Week 7 Day 49 to 55 - 4/2 to 4/8 The buds are super dense and more leaves are changing color. More pistols are a heavy orange now and the trichomes are showing amber sets. It's still a bit early so I'll wait for a higher percentage of amber trichomes before I harvest in the next week. Feed this week was 1.25 gallons 1 time 4 days after last. 400ppm total before add-ins. I used 400ppm Bloom concentrate mix (recipe week 5). Then I added 1ml/gal of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) PH balance this week was 6.6 I plan to feed 1.25gal half nute feeds 1 time every 6th day until harvest in the next week or so. This will also be the same for all remaining feeds before harvest. From this point Im simply watching for signs to harvest in the pistils, calyx, and trichomes

Flower Week 8 Day 56 to 62 - 4/9 to 4/15 The buds are super dense and more leaves have changed color. More pistols are a heavy orange now and the trichomes are showing a greater number of amber maturity. It's still a bit early so I'll wait for a higher percentage of amber trichomes before I harvest in the next week. Feed this week was merely 8 cups of RO water at 6.6ph to help dry them out before harvest. I decided to actually wait for havest until next week tho as the trichomes were slightly less than I was wanting. I planned to stop watering as I wait to harvest

Harvest Flower Week 9 Day 63 to 64 - 4/16 to 4/17 I love RQS - they provide great research and details about their seeds. Get them from the source and they will produce great plants with customer service options. I really learning curve tortured my plants this round resulting as a learning effort to know how far I can push neglect of watering and harsh HST/Mainlining breaks as well as overcrowding. Im very happy with my results, they still not only survived but thrived without many consequences other than slightly lower yields. Im very happy with these and would grow them again. Cut and dried now. Total weight was 26.6 with stem and wet trim before dry. Afterwords I got 4.4 total dried yield before cure (doing that now and will update a smoke review later.
