Dec 19th, 2023 - Russian Tzar Bomba Autoflower seeds were put in a cup of water today. Along with a Zamaldelica Autoflower. there is room for both of these plants as the heirlooms finish. 11/13 HOUR lite schedule might mess with them... Lets see. - 2 summers ago now I grew one of the Russian Tzar Bomba's from Nukeheads. This was a solid bush that had the exact qualities of a linebacker and the LSD plant. Certainly it was one of the strongest funkiest strains I've grown outdoors. Certainly it will be run again outdoors, BUT i had to give these autoflwers a shot. - KUDOS TO NUKEHEADS PEOPLE !! They are nobody's favourite supplier, but each crop I have ordered from them has been spectacular. Cheers CODY !! Happy to be soaking your genetics again. Here is the link to my 8-plant grow that included the Russian Tzar Bomba photo-period ... https://growdiaries.com/diaries/138542-grow-journal-by-1right-angle/week/842977 & the NukeHeads literature… https://nukeheads.com/product/russian-tsar-bomba-photoperiod-5-10-pack-fem-seeds/ 22nd pm - soil mixed and moistened. No nutes; pro-mix 45% worm poop 45% perlite 10% 23rd - into moist soil. Into the heated incubator 24th - like clock-work, the seeds have broken ground the next morning. No helmets says I planted them deep enough ha. Alls Good. Fun begins 27th - led lites within the Lid have been s/d and removed and a MarsHydro TS-1000 is in use above them now. Lowest Power setting and only 8-10 cm away 28th - tap-root was visible on the Btm of each grow-bag. So they were chimneyed into and onto the 2 gallon woven-bags without Stress. Woven bags allow roots to pass through the material - plants to be fed within small bag for next 4-5 days. Gaia Green Veg Fert has been added to the new Soil, for whenever they are ready. 29th - each plant fed 75ml of water / RapidStart. Fed into the small bag only - tomorrow (30th) is the last day of Germination week - one of the plants had a definite “change of shape” today on the True Leaf, which can only be a good sign going forward 30th - last day of Germination - plants moved into the small tent and I’m applying some conditions; rh%, 25c and air movement, 22/2 lite cycle - all 3 plants have now shown a Ripple go through the True Leaves, like they just Molted and its got bumps along edges. - you’ve Gotta love new growth; F O R W A R D - set-up shop in the small tent for the time being - soil remains Moist, See you next week

Dec 31 - day 8 above-ground and its the Start of week 1 - I’ve previously grown the Russian Tzar Bomba outside, and she SOooo resembled the famous and tough LSD plant. truly some Powerful deliscious Weed and 100% an impressive Bush; I have to run her Autos. Come-on NukeHeads - 80ml water each Jan 3 - last 80ml feed into small Woven bag this morning. (5 hours b4 lites-out. No issues) Next feed goes circular around the 2-gal bag, setting-up a 2-3 day watering cycle - lite intensity increased. Even targeting VPD conditions. Taking this grow by the book 4th - 3 plants fed 500ml each, to the outer ring. Start if a Watering cycle. Moisture meter to be used and trusted 5th - fed a liquid slurry of Kelp Meal to the Zamaldelica and Russian Tzar Bomba #2. Each of these seedlings has a Wrinkled leaf, or at least a deformity. Fellow Grower suggested soaking some seaweed in water and sharing it with the afflicted plant, will rid this Wave of ridges... to be announced. About 150 ml ea right on the main stem-root - tomorrow is the first applicatio of BudBusterPro. A weekly booster; tba Jan 6th - first BBP applied, 2ml/8oz - last day week 1 Veg

Nov 7th - plants were foliar sprayed Last Nite with BudBusterPro; day 14 above ground - today is the start of week 2 in Veg for this AutoFlower 8th - moved to a 18/6 lite schedule for this week. 15/9 is next week… then 11/13 mid-week, week 4 9th - each plant was fed 500ml of Worm Casting tea for breakfast - easy to say the plants look strong and have grown considerably. Off to a Solid Start 10th - RTB look like strong olants and are taking-off size-wise - it was an easy call to make this morning. And that is There will be no plant HST or Super-Cropping. With the Heirlooms close to a Meter in the big tent, the Autos are going untouched this time round (except the 1st node will be removed with Cotyledon & True Leaf) 12th - room is 76f, 19/5 lite-sched, top-leaf is 73f, RH 55%. - Time for a ppdf check in both tents = - Plants just might be hungry tonight for a broth thats brewing Veg microbes, enzymes, molasses and worm castings, to put a Little Life into the Soil - BudBusterPro gets its 2nd application tomorrow morning; weekly its the 2nd of 7 planned Foliar applications 13th - last day of week 2, Day 21 above ground - plants fed and sprayed with BBP early this a.m. - lite value of the TS-1000 is 435 ppdf at this stage * tentative move to big tent is around the 21st. Early in week 4 they begin getting only 11 hours of light, and Bloom nutes get amended-in, plants are fed water / teas etc

Jan 14th - plants fed 500ml each on the 13th. Next meal @ 750ml - sprayed with BBP on 13th (last day week 2) - day 22 above ground - Mars Hydro TS 1000 is @ 58% power, 25 cm from the top-leaf; light intensity @ canopy is 550 ppdf, and will be climbing this week. Towards ~ 900-1000 15th - woke up to 650 ppdf 16th - found the Ace Seeds Zamaldelica in the Tent, to have a Mutant streak in her. During an up close inspection I noticed that the 1st node had 2 fan leaves which is normal, but there are 4 branches, not just 2. Nothing is stopping me from from growing this out, but it’s like this Node is “pre-Fim’d”. (ie: an Extra 2 branches of yield) - worm casting tea is brewing for the next meal. Allowing the grow bags to become almost-Dry this time. Patience wins on this one, I’m Holding-off till the bag feels Light ! 17th - plants may be thirsty tonight, which will lead to a nutritious Dinner (above) and a final Up-Potting 2-gal up to a 3-gal - transplanted RTB 1 into a 3-gal fabric pot * ProMix CONNECT has been applied to the RootBall of #1 plant - RTB 2 / ZAM to be transplanted tomorrow pm - ppdf @ 750, w/ no Myccorhizal innoculant being applied

20th - 3rd BBP application carried out this morning - RTB 2 gets transplanted tonight. (Zam and Squirrel as well) - morning leaf temp 26.1c, ppdf 824 - switching to the Bloom cycle mid-week; 11/13 - RTB 2 was watered the other day and this morning she was simply transplanted into the 3-gal square bag. She’s carrying plenty of moisture. Next feed, is when she’s Light… - outside of this grow, Squirrel Tail jr. and Zamaldelica have now had Bloom Nutes put into their amended Soil, start of week 4. These were watered-in with Worm Casting, Kelp Meal and Molasses Tea; 750 ml into 3gal bags. Good for 3-5 days, till bag is light 21st - tent consolidation took place after lites-on. Plants are 6” lower than the Heirlooms in the 4’ tent * switching all meals to Bloom Nutes from here on in. Soil has amended Bloom Nutes in it. Thats where we are going this coming week, week #4 - like it or not; the plants start living with the 11/13 lite-schedule, as I type this. 23rd - RTB 1 & 2 were watered tonight; 6.4 pH, 1.3 L water * Russian Tzar Bomba is a cross between Chernobyl and a (White Widow x White Russian) cross - plants look and feel healthy 24th - tent re-arranged now that the heirlooms are Flushed. Autos are Front & Centre - last day of the week tomorrow - BBP application #4, tomorrow 26th - last day of Veg, bud-sites are busy - BBP application #4 is tonight - tucking vs plucking - this afternoon I start brewing some Bloom Microbes, Enzymes and Molasses for an Auto feed 27th or 28th. Welcome to Bloom

Jan 27th - BBP application #4 tonight 28th - plants should be Hungry tonight. Their 1st Bloom Microbes, Enzymes and Molasses are being brewed. These will be poured / fed into a lightly Amended soil. 1.25L ea for the autos. 1 L for Squirrel Jr. 30th - these auto plants are doing incredibly well, especially with only 11 hours of Light / day 31st - all plants were fed 1.5L pH’d Water tonight, w/ a couple nute basics added. Great to see the plants thirsty - training RTB#1 lower branches. Within an hour the buds were pointing upwards again - lost a few fan leaves to a temp deviation. Side-Panel dimmer, got bumped, to Max, for almost an hour. So it curled a few toes Feb 1st - took some side by side pictures of the Russian Tzar Bomba 1 & 2 plants. When they were up-potted to the 3-gal bags I applied #Promix #CONNECT to the Root-Ball of the #1 plant. Nothing on #2. We are nearing the end of week 5 and given that the application was only 2 weeks ago, the size difference between the plants is truly huge. Nice work #ProMix 2nd - BBP foliar application #5 tonight (1.25ml / 2oz water) - last day of week 5 - soil to be amended with Bloom Fertilizer for the next Watering - Yahoo, plants are all Thirsty ie: Dry (holyshit) - Soil Amended and mixed-into surface - The worm casting tea, kelp meal and molasses had only brewed for 4 hours, but thats enough today ! 2 Litres each @ 6.4pH

Feb 3rd - BBP foliar application completed overnite. Fifth application, one more to go - plant soil amended last nite and Watered. 2 Litres each. Last nite was busy. - start of week 6 5th - quik-check b4 lites out, height has gained 10cm in 2 days - plants are all thirsty tonight (except Sq Tail) 2.0L water for dinner - minor defoliation of damaged or Shade making leaves. Plant stands adjusted to re-aquire a level canopy - last BBP application (6th) coming-up on the 9th 7th - still amazed at the growth that these auto’s are experiencing, while only getting 11 hours of lite a day while In flower 8th - worm tea / molasses is brewing, really basic - each auto fed 2.5L tea 9th - last day of week 6 - final BBP foliar application tonight: 1.5ml/2oz.

Feb 10th - Last BBP Application sprayed on after midnight (spray #6) - start of week 7 11th - plants are truly Thirsty, and will see a volume increase, now that we are truly Blooming / 3L meals are normal now 14th - plants were fed 3.0L of Worm Casting tea - Microbes and Enzymes added to the meal - tent, equipment and Plants were sprayed down with a 200ppm hypochlorous acid mixture, last nite. This is to help keep WPM in the background - #ProMix CONNECT seems to be making a big difference on the treated-plant, in this side by side test. Same diets, same lighting; One root-ball was treated between transplants. one was not 15th - dropping the lite schedule down 30minutes, to 10.5 hrs from 11, in an effort to help the Bhadra finish 16th - last day of week 7

Mar 2nd 2024 - plants are Loving the extended hours of Light. Tonight the timer goes back to 18/6 - Zamaldelica was fed 3.5L of water with a K boost and pH of 6.4 - there are some Amber trichomes on the RTB’s, few and far between. Really Watching the Clear/Cloudy transition… wanting to be on the Front of the Amber curve (less than 10% is my target for Amber with this Strain) - Lite schedule returned to 18/6 4th - all 3 plants Fed this morning, early! (Wow its nice to have access up to the End of the light cycle once again) - Worm castings tea w/ Molasses + P + K - I added an NPK boost of “P” & “K” to help with the camouflage pattern on rtb’s. Meant to add a touch of Ca/mg. - ea fed 4 Litres of Tea @6.4 pH - in researching this green camouflage pattern thats on RTB 1&2… looks like it could indicate a case of Yellow-leaf Septoria. I have added weekly mistings to the Mtce list, a couple of days after the BBP foliar applicatiins. These mistings were done to remove any residues from the BBP applications or the Hypochlorous Acid that has been sprayed-on. Seems this added moisture, opened the door just enough - tent humidity lowered to 42-45% R.H. 7th - carried out another closer, leaf trim. Heading into the closing days / week of this grow, I’m taking no chances. WPM & Yellow-leaf Septoria have been on the edge a few times, and this morning at lites-out I ran the UV-C bulb for 30-min just to twist the knife so to speak. - we’ll get into week 11 and make a call then - each plant was fed 4L of water this morning; pH 6.4 8th - last day of week 10, day 70

Mar 9th -start of week 11, day 71 - grabbed a few trichome shots this morning. Real macros tonight. Decision time is nearing with ~85-90% cloudy trichomes... clear takes the cake with a few Ambers coming into being... time to look close - RTB #1 gets a close inspection tonight, I think its first-one Done. Pistils give it away. If there are Ambers to any degree its lights out - Zamaldelica is beyond normal flowering time, I’m waiting for the pistils to have 60-70% of them turned brown / orange. Thats tonights check. 11th a.m. - fed the Russian Tzar Bomba 2 & the Zamaldelica, 4 L of water each @ 7:00 a.m. - RTB#2 was placed in the Dark Tent at Lites-out (11:00) for 48 hours of Dark. - RTB#1 gets chopped,, weighed and Hung tomorrow morning… after her 48hrs of dark. Its Time! - Zamaldelica, whilst past her projected grow date by 2 weeks, her Pistils have finally begun to change colours from a Creamy white/yellow to Orange, currently there are close to 20-25% of them turned already. I’m putting her in the dark when 60-70% have turned 12th - chopped the Russian Tzar Bomba #1 after being in the dark for 48 hours. 372 grams of Hanging-plant to start with. - RTB #2 is in the dark 24hrs now and gets chopped tomorrow morning 13th - RTB #2 was chopped and weighed this morning: 380 grams of wet hanging-weight. It seemed obvious, visually, that the small plant would weigh more. With the bigger structure / frame I was sure the tall plant would produce more. Not so - Zamaldelica could be chopped Saturday morning… 15th - last day of week 11 and I believe its the last Nite of Light for the Auto Zamaldelica. 11 full weeks of Love for a 8-9 week auto-cycle. The BBP applications have extended the development of this plant. BBP is known to add a couple of weeks to some cultivars growth and it has done this to the Zam. Trichomes are 90% cloudy and the Pistils have remained a yellowy-white. This last week has seen the Pistils begin to Darken and are seem to be retracting Into the buds. Almost 50% have turned. We’ll see in the morning where we are. Not really interested in taking the grow into week 12. We’ll see tonight/tomorrow. Planning for the plant to enter 48 hrs of dark in the a.m. tomorrow. Last lite for Zam, tonight 16th a.m., took a few images just before the Official Lites-out for this Grow. Zamaldelica was Not part of the official Diary but I could not leave it undocumented, given her fame and poor performance on the 1st attempt. And she shared the Tent!! She’ll be followed and documented, next time Mar 17th 22:00 pm - for the record, Auto Zamaldelica tipped the scales at 402 grams. A True Beauty. - both RTB are hanging nicely @ 60% R.H. and 17.5c Mar 22nd - and on day 10 of hanging the RTB# 1 is doing amazing. No branches snapping, hanging in 62% RH @16c. The other plants are just a day or 2 behind. Leaves trimmed etc, all seems perfect Mar 25th - day 14 of the cure (targeting 20) and things are fully in cure mode. No branch snaps, at all, when twisting a Nug. - steady at 16c and 60-62% R.H.

March 11th I will add RTB #2’s weight in the morning. RTB #1 plant had been Chopped, weighed and is now hanging @372 wet grams. RTB #2 had been in the dark for 24 hrs now and will be Harvested / chopped tomorrow morning; 13th The goal on this cure is to extend it to the 20-day mark. 60%RH is the goal to maintain during this project and as low a Temp as my basement will allow. Major trim in 7 days is the plan, once the plants have shed the initial moisture Plants will be curing in the 32” tent with a Fan, a Humidifier, idled at 60%rh, and all vents are open. “Moisture management” is the big job week 1. Maintaining a target of 57-60% RH is week 2 and beyond 13th - chopped RTB #2, weighed her and she is now hanging; 380 grams. Smaller plant has a greater weight !! The goal is a 20-day hang @ 57-60%R.H. ~ 17-18C. - super happy with this outcome. The plants have been forced into a very restrictive and reduced Lite-cycle in the middle of their grow. Thankfully there has been a resurgence back to 17/7 the last 2-3 weeks and it's definitely helped them Finish strong. - curing-Tent is Steady @17.5c average and 61% R.H. (14th a.m.) - Zamaldelica plant has Pistils turning a crispy brown. Come-on get busy !! Sat could be a Deadline the way Pistils are changing colour 16th - last lite has fallen on the Auto Zamaldelica - trimmed the leaves off of the Russian Tzar Bomba’s while the Curing tent was open.
