*week 4 update* so week 4 comes to an end, she's looking good and in out of the cold shed, I gave her a little drink today and moved her indoors.
she's 4" tall and 6" wide and doing well. she's had a drop of biobizz grow & bloom.
considering she's in a cupboard in a draughty, outdoor brick shed I think she's doing alright :)
Hello ! To do it well then forget about thewater volume and stick to the weight of the pot : Lift the pot when it's dry , then water and lift the pot when it's moist , you will have to water when the weight will be lighter ( dry soil but not too dry ) , you need to settle a wet / dry cycle in your soil. To avoid over feeding then you should also settle a water / nutrient / water / nutrients (reapeat untill the end) and if you see sign of over feeding then go with a water / water / fertilizer / water / water etc.. *disaster strikes* after 6 weeks of love and attention I've made a school boy error and scorched the top of my plant..

week 6 begins today Sunday 21 oct
in the last few days. she has become a lot more bushy, the bud sites are popping up and I've finally got my plants settled in a better cupboard with a desk fan blowing on them. there's a little stardawg beside my northern light. .but more of that in another diary.
End of week 7 and she's had a nip & tuck,fed,watered,lights raised. After my burning the plants last week she is recovering well 💚
😱so week 7 begins with a setback. I left my light too close to my plant and scorched the top few bud sites. I've given her a quick trim as best I could so we'll see how she does in week 7.
As well as that, the weather has gotten a lot cooler in the past few days and I've added some heat to my plant to bring the soil back up to a cosy temperature.
*update mid week 8 .. she's getting bushy and I've tied down a couple of branches. Looking really good 😀

Hi guys... well week 10 begins .. she's looking great but shold I swap my 450w dual cfl for a 600w hid for the last week or so ? Would she benefit from the hid??
This late into flowering? No, it might do more damage than anything else; would have been great when flowering started around week 3 or 4. Fooling around with the light intensity after flowering started can lead to plants going hermy, reveg, etc. At this point the buds are already formed and you are just waiting them to mature.
Updated Tues 04th. Tied a few branches down and the smell from her is getting stronger + the buds are fattening up.

My grow yielded around 40g... not bad for a first time effort under a 450w dual cfl. I had a couple of mishaps along the way but my buds turned out just fine.
Thanks all for your kind comments and advice. After reading the comments on my light swap I took the hid down & went back to cfl. My room hasn't enough natural ventilation or fresh air to cope with the additional heat so I'm playing it safe
swap it for sure man, it will make a huge difference + i reckon you still have plenty of time to get this plant fat, you have a few more weeks ahead of you bro, go for it! 🚀
Plants can be close to fl light, but 450 is pretty strong. I would try to put at least 6 or 8 inches if not more between the top and the light. I have a 200w cfl and cooked buds on it like a bbq, but I had a micro grow and couldn't raise the light. If you don't have a fan, get one and have the fan blowing over the top of the plant , gently, and it will help with the heat. Good luck on the grow and thank the Mrs. from all of us for letting you bring her indoors. ;)
