1/12/24- It’s been 22 days since I put the seeds in their pots. Compared to a few diaries I've seen, I feel like my grow is a little slow, and that’s ok. I’m thrilled and grateful for what has been achieved so far. Yesterday afternoon noticed some mild , beige marks/spots. By the evening they were fully visible and progressing. Thank you to all that chimed in on my question, still thinking and watching. More pics for this week to come 1/15/24-Day 25. Saw some white hairs on Cookies today

Light spreads out according to the inverse square law is why. 😋 i use emitocons and rhetorical questions to express passive aggressive feelings but pretend i'm a very polite person at the same time. ---- the result won't be the same because leaves lower on plant will absorb stronger light if hanging distance is further, ceteris paribus, which means same DLI at canopy, same climate, same everything esle to resolve this question properly. ---- Let's say 2 exact contexts are compared as far as climate and DLI at cnopy but distance from canopy is dfiferent (which needs a little more power to avhieve same dLI at canopy) - one is 18" and one is 24". Any depth into canopy under the 24" distance is a smaller loss of light compared to same depth into canopy under 18" distance. A mathematical certaianty due to inverse square law. -- What I am not saying is that it is better in all contexts.. some measurements would need to be taken in a controlled environment and compared to figure out at what point is it worth it? "worth it" is in some part opinion and relative to requirements of the individual. Maybe they just need max yield and slightly increasing cost per gram is not a concern, so this is a good idea for them more often than not. This person would have a different opinion than someone primarily concerned about cost per gram. Even with this person their may be a context in which they improve cost per gram with additional height from canopy. Definitely possible, just not sure how common it'd be. -- applying a one-szie-fits-all answer here is a lack of imagination.

Day 21 for this Hulkberry Auto. Water is at 6.5-6.7. Gaia green amendments in the soil, have not top dressed yet. Noticed these spots today, they seem to be getting worse. Just on one plant out of three. I would appreciate some insight. Any ideas?

That's A typical salt burn from nutrient splash. I can't zoom in enuf any longer to see the edges properly. But, these odd white dots 95% of the time. When reaching over. When feeding. Splashes hit your leafs. And on the delicate surface. The water droplets acted like a mag glass and your light burns the leafs through the shine.

Hello all and thank you in advance for your input and suggestions. This pic was taken 12 days after I did a top dressing with Gaia Green bloom mixed with the all purpose. Is this the beginning of a deficiency or a burn? I PH my water to around 6.5. The plant is 49 days old

Side note, when amending the plants and top dressing, add in a bit of worm castings or more soil on top of the layer it was just mixed into. this helps it stay moist and breakdown efficiently.

I use Gaia Green and like it a lot. I have reticently started introducing fulvic acids to help boost absorption of the nutrients as well as using bio boosters in the medium like bacteria and fungi to help break it all down. It has helped a lot. Ph going in is one thing PH in the medium is another. If you just top dressed it might need a bit of time to break down and feed the plant or just to even out in the medium. Like others I would suggest lowering PH down to 6-6.2 I also advice against any runoff when growing with amendments as if you are washing out all the work of the microbes and then the medium does not have any nutrients till they break down more. Other things with Gaia i found, it needs a Mg boost and is heavy in N so a good mix of 284 + 444 is needed. sometimes 75/25 or 50/50 ratio. I would give it a bit more time and fix your PH. if you down have any PH down like phosphoric acid go to a bulk store or anywhere that sells citric acid and use it. Perfect for this. vinegar also works i just don't like it as much. Good Luck!

My guess would be your slightly out of the ph range that it requires to use up the correct nutrition. Try lowering ph to 6.2. Make sure you get plenty of runoff and check it's ph. I can't see any nutrients listed but I take it your using some bloom nutes.

@Greengoose, flavour is a little weak, that's true. But the uplift it gives you, is AH-MAZING. It's my go to party weed. The Hulk makes you dance all night long and won't keep you from falling asleep once your body hits the bedsheets. I will be growing the original Bruce Banner III in my outdoor grow this year to compare 👽👊

@SubliminalSociety, Thank you, my first time growing it. I’ve read some say it’s a little weak in the flavor department, your thoughts?
