week one went by. Plant #1 had a bit of burn from what it looks like or the fan was blowing too hard on her and dried her leaves out a bit. I moved the fan to give her some time and she perked right back up.

week 2 came and went fast. #1 that was having a bit of trouble bounced back and looks great. I just added some great white to help promote root growth today so I am hoping for a growth spurt soon.

Little bit of overwatering went on this week #1 lower leaves are getting a bit thick so later today I am going tuck the larger fan leaves under. Besides that I am happy to see the growth spurt finally happening by 4" this week! I did start giving both of them great white shark micorrizas to help with their root growth. The one big thing is she smells just like mango. No gas, weed, or funky smell this has to be one of the best smelling plants I have ever grown. I am slowly learning about PPFD and how it helps the plants and the heat in the tent. This lead me to lowering the % and bringing the tents midday temps down with it. ppfd:621 DLI: 45.8

This week they are started to stretch so I am more then happy for then. Still worried about plant #2 she still looks like she is overwatered even if her soil is bone dry 2" down. I am still going to grow her out as a learning experience and to see if she will just bounce back on her own. The smell is starting to fade instead of a pure mango smell it's as if that same mange fell into someone's gas tank now.

Both plants starting to shoot upwards this week. Started to do some LST to move the branches away from the main colas to fill out the canopy. #2 is still looking as if she is being both under and over watered at the same time, I don't mind it, just bit confused what would cause this,

Roots started to reach the bottom of the pots so this starts the end of watering from the top now. Been picking up and moving the bases around each day to make sure they don't get into the water bases. Overall nothing too big this week for the girls.

Both look like they are done with their growth spurt! Plant #2 has been shedding some leaves and sucking what nutes they have from them. overall she is doing healthy, no root rot or anything. #1 has been growing out her canopy quite a bit now. I a had to go in and pluck some of the lower fan leaves since they were not getting any light and are just a carbon sink now. It's been cold out here with the winder so the tents been dropping below 68 all the way to 64 at times at night. I think this is causing the yellow leaves on the 2nd plant since it's on the colder side.

this week went by pretty fast. Noticed #2 was still eating up her fan leaves and I noticed it was from a nitrogen deficiency so I added a bit of calmag into her watering base. Once that was done a day or so later the leaves stopped turning yellow, so I am going to assume that was the issue. Overall the smell is still amazing. A fresh mango smoothie with a hint of gas.

This was a easy week for both of them. Plant #1 is growing out her buds and plumping up quite well. The smell of both of the plants is fading bit, I am starting to get a bit of a gas smell, but nothing too strong. #2 is definitely in the lead with changing colors, quite a few of her top sugar leaves are changing from a vibrant green to a purple and yellow mix. I am happy with having less popcorn buds on the lower nodes, but I do see I still have room to improve with how and when I pluck them. Some leaves were getting heavy one #1 so I did do a bit of defoliation on her to help prevent and mold growth that could happen.

I am going to try flushing for the first time this week. She looks like she has stopped growing overall and I wanted to see if it helps with the flavor of the bud.

I have never tied to flush a plant and I seen if the leaves have too much yellow then it is not a good idea. I plan on doing a harvest in 10-14 days and wanted to know if both of my plants should be ok with a flush.

As autoflowerssucks states flushing does not lower mineral contest in the buds. its just starves the plant. Flushing to fix a issue in the medium is a good tool should it be needed. Giving just water for the last few weeks or week of life is just fine as well. Dumping copious amounts of water into the medium is not helping. it will stress the plant out and stress causes lack of growth with no nutrients it won't grow and can't recover. The plant is going to be pulling all the energy it has from bigger fan leaves into the buds. mobile nutrients. If the buds are still green and the fan leaves are yellow its the same as green buds and green fan leaves, you are not curing or smoking the fan leaves. A good dry and cure is just as important as a healthy plant in veg and flower. If double blind studies from cannabis connoisseurs say they can't tell the difference of a flushed and unflushed properly cured weed, then i doubt anyone else can. Tests show the buds content of minerals does not change in any significant way. so whats the point of flushing if nothing has changed in the usable product in the end. Looks more into how to cure your weed. auto burping and best drying conditions. There is much more to all this but boiled down flushing is myth for the advertised reasons why people should do it. Good Luck!

I been watching them both and to my surprise I had to start supporting #2 branches. Over the weeks the colas have been getting so fat it was making them sway to the edges. I have been happy with the dense tricome production on both of them and can't wait to see if they are ready to chop at the end of the week
