I’m really looking forward to growing this strain! I’ve tried the recommended method for germinating seeds and it’s works wonderfully. I hope to have germination by Saturday!
Update: she popped and grew a great taproot!
She is loving the veg tent with LED. I cleaned up the tent from the last grow and got everything nice and shiny. Lots of light reflection and solid growth! Another node and I’ll problem to then and I’ll also be transplanting to 1gal fabric pots soon.
Finally transplanted into 1gal pots and the root ball was the perfect size for transplanting. Not root bound at all, just a nice healthy plant. She’s loving the new digs and is already responding well!
She’s doing great in the 1 gal and I’ll probably need to transplant to 7gal pots in a week or so. Almost time for the second round of topping, too!! Smells really good so far!
She’s doing great! A little smaller than her tent mates, but she will get there! Here are the pre-transplant pics. Up potting to 7gal later today and getting her spread out for a nice even canopy.
I finally got her transplanted and she’s responded well, so far! I used some super large #3 perlite in the bottom of the pot for drainage and used Roots organic soil, since my usual fox farm ocean forest was out of stock.
She’s doing great!! She will be in the flower tent later this week and I’ll see how much of the screen is filled and how much longer she needs before flipping to flower.
She’s a huge bush now!! Way overdue for being in the scrog net, but she’s in there now and filling it up nicely. I’ll probably let her go for a week or two longer before flipping!
Last week of veg! I flipped to flower after these pics were taken. Not as full of a canopy as I was hoping, but I’m sure she will turn out some huge buds!
Second week of flower complete and the flowers are developing nicely. She has definitely stretched some and I had to move the light up a bit. Smelling amazing now!!
She’s exploded into flower mode!! She smells sooooo good, too! Wrapped up week 3 of flower and she’s super healthy! I did a bit of defol and will likely do a bit more as needed. Overall, she’s doing great!!
Finished week 6 of flower and she’s doing absolutely amazing!! Wow does she stink!!!! I had to remove a few leaves and I was super sticky and stinky! It won’t be too long now!!
Finished week 8 and she’s definitely
maturing nicely! Smelling and looking amazing! I really need to order more plant yo-yos to get all the heavy buds supported!
I’m not sure what happened to my stats on here, but I had to re-enter everything again for some stupid reason. The plant is doing so well. I can’t believe I didn’t order more yo-yos yet but everything is falling over so heavy, big fat buds I will be harvesting in a few weeks water only until then….
This strain is rated at 33%!!!!! I've never grown anything that high in THC before. The plant was easy to grow and had a great veg. She developed some strange leaf issue during flower and none of the other plants did that and they were all fed the same nutes. Oh well, she turned out to be a VERY powerful smoke. The only problem I really had other than the leaf issue is SEEDS!!! Every single bud I've smoked is chock full of seeds like it was the early 2000s...The seeds are super ripe, so I'm keeping them all and plan to try them in the future. I believe they will be fem, based on previous experience. I love the plant, I just wish she hadn't hermied. If she did hermie, I didn't notice and I didn't see any nanners when harvesting. Now that I think about it, I wonder if there was pollen from the previous grow, had there been nanners that I didn't notice at that time. I guess if my current flowering plants in that tent are full of seeds, I'll have my answer!
Overall, a great plant, but in my case, she was the runt of the 4 plants I grew and only produced 74.1g. It's strong stuff for sure!!
