Mr_Green79 With my order of seeds online, unfortunately, the germination didn't work for Sweet ZZ and Fat Banana. I even added 3 seeds that I found for testing, and they germinated. No idea what went wrong. I was a bit annoyed and then went to another dealer in Amsterdam. Here, the germination worked right away. It ended up being Mimosa Evo x Orange Punch from Barney's Farm.
Mr_Green79 Everything is going pretty well so far. I'm going to do a complete defoliation at the beginning of the week. I've now moved the nutrient tank outside because I was constantly having temperature issues.

Mr_Green79 I had some concerns about the heavy defoliation, but they're growing back like crazy..

Mr_Green79 so.. today I sent them into flowering. I lowered the week from 18 hours to 12. I set up my net and had to realize that the squares were way too big.. Luckily there's Amazon.. The next day I had 20 meters of elastic rope and used that to reduce the squares.

Mr_Green79 2nd week of flowering..
One plant is getting quite bushy.
I noticed this week that the UV lamp for cleaning the dehumidifier ran for 2 hours in the tent.
Since the lamp is on the left side of the device, the left plant got the most exposure..
The 2nd thing is.. the external regulation tank has been regulating 2 hoses to the left for 2 weeks and one hose each to the two on the right..
So in tank 1, the nutrient solution PH- was sometimes given too quickly..
I otherwise spread it out over a few hours to avoid stress..

Mr_Green79 The left plant is shooting up, the two on the right are growing normally.. Had to mount the Sanlight at an angle to ensure consistent light intensity..

Mr_Green79 I change the nutrient tank every 10 days, 45 L.
Then I let clear water run through for about an hour and add 20 ml of flush to the clear water... 40 L 20/20 osmosis/tap water.
After that, I fill the tanks with the solution brought to temperature and pH value. In the coming hours, the solution rises to a higher pH value. After a few adjustments, I'm back to a value of 5.8.
Mr_Green79 It's getting slow. I've lowered the Cal Mag a bit since some leaf tips are turning dark. But it could also be due to the fluctuating pH value since the roots absorb more Cal Mag at 6.0.. But now I've reached the phase where my pH value drops again towards 5.5. So I have to initially lower it with pH - and after 24 hours raise it back towards pH 5.8. Really stressful...

Mr_Green79 Unfortunately, I didn't manage to cut off all the small popcorn buds at the bottom last week, so I got to it this week.
Right into the freezer and gave it a good shake..
And I was very surprised.. The taste.. a dream. Delicious orange and lemon.
After I watched the clouds out the window for 15 minutes, 😵 I thought to myself...
Yeah, I'm totally high..
I was a bit surprised because the girls are only finishing in 13 days... and the buds are rather small and not very resin-coated..
Awesome stuff! 👍
Thanks to Barneys Farm for the super breeding of this strain.

Mr_Green79 Harvest was pretty good. Drying took 3 weeks and the result was top-notch. I couldn't weigh the wet weight. Once dried, it was 256 G and 10 G of hash with a screening of 120 microns. The taste is orange with a bit of skunk. Very intense aroma. The smell during the grow wasn't that strong. I had exhaust on and temperatures between 19-27 degrees. Unfortunately, I couldn't get a fall color. I couldn't get the temperatures below 19 degrees, and even then only for a short time. So, I unfortunately didn't have any purple coloration in the last phase. I flushed for 6 days with water and Canna Flush. The last 3 days, I kept everything dark.
This is a delicious strain. I’ve got my first keeper in years from the 5 seeds. Super resinous and terpy really early on, and it smells throughout the whole house without a filter. I, being an idiot, of course didn’t secure a clone. I still can’t believe we can finally grow legally. Good luck with your future grows. 😎😁 May the terps be with you.
@Stony_German, I'm extra going to Barneys Farm in Amsterdam. Now at the end, it's the best I've had. Except for one of my 3 plants. It has a mutation and is probably just an Orange Punch.. All orange hairs and shot up like crazy 💪 Yes, I'm also happy 1.04 Yaaay!
@Mr_Green79, I'm on day 57 today and my trichomes are still clearly clear. Man, I'm so glad that phones can zoom in so nicely these days. Barneys' info was always a bit too optimistic. My Barneys journey is coming to an end for now. I have seeds from Humboldt Seed Co. and Ethos for the next 2 years. I trust PapaNuggs; he's been through many US breeders and I really value his opinion. I've been growing since the 90s, mostly European genetics, and I occasionally hop across the pond. Enjoy your harvest and we'll see each other here again soon.
Nice and resinous. Mim. x OP has very interesting terps and good big buds. I can smell orange marzipan in one. Let's see, my Mimosas will be ready in 10 days too. Enjoy the harvest.😎
@Stony_German, I harvested it on April 1st. According to the timeline, I should have harvested on March 24th, but the trichomes under the microscope needed a few more days.. I took it to Barneys in Amsterdam last week where I bought new seeds, and even the employee said it was top-notch.. Of course, my buddies had to smoke a sample, and everyone said... this is strong.. 😄 I then immediately bought the Mimosa X Orange Punch as an autoflower for the garden..
