Hi, this is my first grow and I am trying to make it successfull. Unfortunately my plants are growing very slowly because I made a few mistakes in the first 3 and a half weeks. I think the crucial one was using CFL 250W Bloom light. Do you guys think I can save this grow?
hey Nubrinnah, yeah don't you worry about a thing, you can save the grow you can even harvest a killer grow. To be honest they are not that slow for a 150W LED grow. Many growers skip the first couple of weeks of grow so it kind of looks like theirs are faster. I would say keep doing what you're doing with your auto, make sure you have cal-mag and add some because 24/7 lights are a tough one for autos they go into over drive. If you can, end of next week start adding some molasses, it has carbs in it that the plants use to make flowers. You'll see flowering maybe end of the month. Finished first week of flushing on day 78. Leaves on one of the gals have started yellowing, no yellowing spotted on the other gals. Trichomes are 90% cloudy with 10% clear and 0% amber.
Due to the lack of time caused by upcoming holidays, I had to harvest maybe a bit ea rlier as I would like to. Anyways, trimming is hell, I absolutely hate it. The first gal I trimmed and manicured and it took slightly over 3 hours. I was so tired after the first one that I have decided to light trim the rest and do the dry time afterwards instead.
Update. Dry trimming is even worse for me, definitely will wet trim only next time. Also, I have to figure out my drying environment better next time. My buds were dry too quickly (4 days only). Anyways, I am satisfied with the grow and yield too. I am going to start a new grow in January.
