800 ppm feeds until runoff twice a day. Plants seem to have been supercharged! I knocked the 4 hours of darkness and run it for 23 and a half hours a day now and the plants love it. Lots of preflower, I hope they keep growing exactly like this!. Zero training done and she’s filling out nicely

Missed the weekly update but we’re back with week 9. Feeding these beasts 700ppm of only maxibloom GH every 8 hours! The strain is easily my favourite yet! The smell the growth and the overall look of the girls is crazy. I’m going to start flashing in a couple days and let the fade out a little. I’ll keep you guys posted! Cheers!

Bigger stardawg hermed so I took the male bananas and put them in a bag because I know they contain pollen. What would be the best actions to take to just play around. If I backcross the pollen to the same strain will I create S1 seeds?

@dutdut day-neutral(Autoflowering) genetics are naturally recessive to being homozygous(stable) therefore when breeding with any-form of Photoperiod the Autoflowering genetics are abundantly recessive. Given that your plant has hermied its like to hermaphrodite again because genetically its not a stable phenotype meaning it could also contain the photo-period genetics as well as the unstable hermaphrodite traits. I wouldn't waste the time personally! But for science maybe!

Let me know any questions and thoughts below. These two plants were directly under 1000w hps bulb on 110% with an air cooled hood with temperatures below 28c. Unfortunately I let them grow 6” away from the hood and while they loved it at first they foxtailed and threw out some male flowers! The bananas came somewhere around day 75 so I don’t think I lost too much but non the less I should of paid more attention to what they were telling me. Anyways I’m motivated to keep progressing and treat this as a hands on learning experience

@dutdut that tent is looking fantastic though! 😍

@dutdut, you could always save the pollen to eventually make your own Auto strain. You would have to Stabilize the genetics and rid them of hermies but that sounds like a nice longterm experiment 😎

Beautiful work! How often do you change your bulbs bro?
SeedLover
SeedLovercommented6 years ago
@dutdut, I definitely will. I use 1000wDE Bulbs, and where I live they cost at least 100€. But even then you're right, it pays off very much and I should try to find something less expensive.
dutdut
dutdutcommented6 years ago
@@SeedLover, I’d switch to a new bulb if you say you can see the difference. To me 20$ every 90 days pays for itself in the extra lumens but if your changing like 10 bulbs I can see why people try to stretch it
SeedLover
SeedLovercommented6 years ago
@dutdut, I see, thank you. I might have to change mine a bit more often, cause I can clearly notice that my flowers are almost always smaller when I run a second session with the same bulb.

looks nice mate In loving the structure so far, am gonna follow this because its one auto strain I've been wanting to grow but I've seen so many mixed results with buds its kinda putting me off as i(props all of us) want a auto that looks as close a the real SD

Insane grow! What soilless medium do you use? That's the biggest star dawg on this site. Mines growing good but will not produce that many colas. What's your secret? Lights? Nutes? I want to know your amazing technique😯
