AK auto seems to be doing just fine. getting a bit of nute burn due to the amount its drinking. so so sticky. ppm in totes were HIGH 1300 PPM (hence NUTE BURN ) plus the amount they are drinking . its dropped back to 998 ppm now with fresh nutes , ph 5.7-5.9 watered down my nutes to 500 for top ups.

The only question I have is : would you top them once early + LST or let them grow naturally +LST. i will have 4 plants in a 4x4x6 I want to maximize yield. they seem very healthy and growing fast.

TOP plus LST. With autos you want to TOP / FIM above the 4th node, removing the 5th pair of leaves. You can check my Sweet Skunk diary, where I did just that. If you go ahead and TOP, do no do it later, else the plant will start it's flowering process.

my plants wont be done at the same time by the looks of them. Does anyone see an issue with drying plants in the tent while still growing ? humidity is under control @ 50% RH is it necessary that the drying plants have darkness? if so why ?

Hi @hydroponicganja! Well, light degrades trichomes and their precious cannabinoids, this is the main reason why we don't dry buds straight into the grow room. But there's more: your grow room is probably not 100% clean, it may contains pests/fungus, and the airflow is probably too strong for a normal drying process. Basically this will lead into quick drying, you will loose potency and terpenes, or even worse (in case of bud rot / mold). I would recommend to build a custom drying box, that way you will protect the buds from dust+invaders+wind+light while keeping everything in the same room. Your box must be drilled enough for the air to circulate but not too much so the light can't hit the buds. I personnaly use a DIY drying box made out of cardboard, something like this - www.youtube.com/watch Hope this will help, keep us up-to-date and happy growing 👊

@hydroponicganja, hey the curing process starts the moment you make the chop what you especially dont want is light damaging the trychomes as you cure the bud. If you dry in your tent and dont make sure no light is hitting the buds then your cure will turn out damaged bud. What you want to do is make a grow box and have that inside your tent, cut a small hole on the side of a cardboard box and attach a small exhaust fan pointing outwards for a nice airflow. then sort of pass a pole or some string through and hang the bud directly or on hangars. the main idea during drying and curing is to go real slow to get all the photosynthesis and bad tasting chemicals to evaporate in the air , if you go quick you'll get less good tasting bud... hope this helps ! 🚀
