She's doing really well. Getting phatter everyday 😎 Branches are starting to lean 👌
Gave her a final super flush, and made certain she drained as much as gravity would allow.
She's on water only now ( if she gets thirsty again ).
I had to get a little drastic on the defoliation.
Because I found three spots where mold had started deep inside the flowers.
Luckily, I've been doing twice daily inspections, so the damage was minimal.
The temperature swings here lately have made things rather difficult in trying to maintain a consistent environment.
Temps have been near 0 and has caused the ground and floors to freeze or go near freezing.
I've added insulation to the floors of the tents and an extra heater for the room.
Seems to be working.
About half of the hairs are red or turning red.
Trichomes are cloudy to milky white. Some are turning to color, but not as many as I thought would be by this point.
I'm still thinking another week or so. Maybe even longer going by her current growth rate.
The flowering of your plants looks to be progressing very well. There not much better than watching the flowering nodes begin to take shape and form beautiful buds. I'm eager to see how your grow finishes up and I wish you all the best in the rest of growing these girls. Cheers :D
The flowering nodes on your plants look to be absolutely amazing. You've done such an amazing job with this grow so far and I'm so excited to see how these plants finish up as well as to hear how they smoke. Best wishes my friend :D
@SensiSmellYahLater, Thank you very much 😎 I appreciate that. I'm looking forward to the finish as well. I figure the end of January - ish and she'll be done cookin'.
@Mrs_Larimar, Thank you and be nosey - no worries :-)
The branches from the lower end of stalk are thinner, so I trimmed those a little extra, so that they could focus on the main flower on the branch.
The branches from the upper end of the stalk, I pretty much left alone. Just to see what they would do. One is untouched from the tie string up. One has the first node past the tie string trimmed, And the last one has two nodes past the tie string trimmed.
Between the various points of where the nodes were trimmed, you can see a difference in growth rate.
((Which is what I wanted to see, that specific difference in growth rate - when related to trimmed branches.))
The next grow - I will try mainlining.
