She's doing very well. Branches have started forming. Good color. Broad leaves. Yesterday I topped her at the fifth node. Today I taped down the biggest leaf, pulling her towards the side. Started nutrients two days ago.
I'm shooting for big nugs on this grow. This one is for personal use. I've heard a lot about the cheese and I'm looking forward to the end result.
I plan on extending the veg cycle by a couple of weeks, to allow her to develop a little more. Another change I am planning is using Advanced Nutrients for the bloom phase. While I was growing in Humboldt we used enzymes and also bat guano. So I'm looking into obtaining what I can.
So far, a great start though.
The flowering of your plants looks to be progressing very well. There not much better than watching the flowering nodes begin to take shape and form beautiful buds. I'm eager to see how your grow finishes up and I wish you all the best in the rest of growing these girls. Cheers :D
The flowering nodes on your plants look to be absolutely amazing. You've done such an amazing job with this grow so far and I'm so excited to see how these plants finish up as well as to hear how they smoke. Best wishes my friend :D
@SensiSmellYahLater, Thank you very much 😎 I appreciate that. I'm looking forward to the finish as well. I figure the end of January - ish and she'll be done cookin'.
@Mrs_Larimar, Thank you and be nosey - no worries :-)
The branches from the lower end of stalk are thinner, so I trimmed those a little extra, so that they could focus on the main flower on the branch.
The branches from the upper end of the stalk, I pretty much left alone. Just to see what they would do. One is untouched from the tie string up. One has the first node past the tie string trimmed, And the last one has two nodes past the tie string trimmed.
Between the various points of where the nodes were trimmed, you can see a difference in growth rate.
((Which is what I wanted to see, that specific difference in growth rate - when related to trimmed branches.))
The next grow - I will try mainlining.
