This week I had a little accident, I broke a branch and I had to remove it because it did not recover. Although it's my first time growing a plant and despite the accident, the plant is growing very well and very fast, it smells slightly lemon
During this week the plant has started to develop resin on the leaves and the First flowers are beginning to show. It continues to grow a lot in height and faster and faster. I have started to remove a few leaves from the bottom, only the yellowed ones, I'm afraid of ruining it and creating stress that will damage it. The smell is still faint, but getting closer there is a good lemon aroma.
This week the Jack Herer has exploded.
The branches have become dense, swollen buds with lots of pistils that are turning orange.
The smell has become much more intense and citrusy, however, I think it is further along that it should be.
So far this seedling is growing nicely. I hope it continues like this
EDIT: Today, March 24 I just harvested the plant, I will update the diary in 10-14 days once it's dry and trimmed! Bye!
This is the last week before harvest.
The plant has stopped growing in height, the smell of lemon can be smelled as soon as the grow is opened and invades the nostrils, it feels like standing under a tree full of beautiful ripe lemons!
The main top is very big and heavy.
This week I'm only watering with water, no nutrients, hoping the flavor will come out as clean and lemony as the smell!
It's finally ready!
Honestly I expected to produce more and I'm a little disappointed, after cutting it I've noticed that the roots were few and I still have to figured out what didn't allow it to grow.
However, for being my first time growing a plant, I'm pleased with the way it looks!
The taste is really good and the smell has changed slightly, it's less citrusy hand a bit sweeter, on the other and the taste feels like you just eat orange custard! Really delicious!
